Summerfest 2019: The Vampire Pool Party

STORYLINE: Summer is a time for going to the beach, splashing in the surf, and soaking in the sun. But what about the creatures of the night? Are they doomed to never experience the joys of summer?  Well down on the Moonset Strip at a little club called the Rockabilly Rox, the vampires are throwing a hell of a pool party. The speakers are blasting, coffins and headstones lined in neon, beach balls bouncing everywhere, and over at the dance floor the Nosferatu are splashing around happily in inflatable pools filled with suspicious looking red liquids. Who says only humans get to enjoy summer?

Summerfest is close to an end, but forget to grab the the fun-gear for your Summer. The image above was inspired by Schadenfreude's fun inflatable pool, bat wing inner tubes and floating drink holders. All them come with a hud to change the colors combinations in many ways, and their materials catch a perfect plasticky look in the light. The floating drink holder and ring, will slowly turn on the water for a realistic floating effect. The inner tube also comes in a Vehicle version, so you can race around and terrorize your neighbors in your own floating batmobile. There is a wearable ring, and floating ring and inner tube both have poses  build into them. The skull shaped inflatable pool can change its colors and even do a sugar skull texture versions. And you can change the water color from white, blue, pink, toxic green or of course red.  On the floor are beautiful Triton beach towels with poses from Balaclava.  From S16B, I picked up the cool Tootime club skybox by Anxiety for 30% off. Also from Anxiety are the neon gravestone group gift, and the neon coffin from the Cult gacha. The finishing touch of neon wireframe palm trees are from Foxcity.

Beauty and the Beast

STORYLINE: The Beast was cursed for turning a blind eye to those in need. Though the doomed prince's lesson had long since been learned, he suffered on in his monstrous form. He dared not show his hideous face. It was during these lonely years the Beast developed a love for roses. He spent his days toiling in the garden, nurturing and breeding them into masterpieces of horticulture. Why? Because if he himself was not lovely to behold, surely he could still bring beauty into the world with sheer will.

Tale as old as time, Beauty and the Beast. It's one of the best, and most loved of the fairy tales. This current round of Enchantment is the finale. It was fun to do my own take on the Beast. I went more toward a big lion look with the Alice Project Leah hair, BareRose Konkon legs, By Snow's Werecat eyes, and the [ni.ju] Dusk neko makeups. From Enchantment, I'm showing the cool wire and rose Beast Horns by May's Soul. It comes in either white or black, and has a texture change for the two rose groups on the horns. Love it. For a clever and original take on the Beast, C L A Vv delivers the Jagal Masque. It comes in metal and bloody. And it's a Prize! That's right, just buy anything along the Enchantment trail, wear your stamp card and get it stamped at each location, then you can head to the Prize area to pick up a goodie. (Be sure to only wear one stamp card at a time when you collect prizes.)  Maybe can't see it too well in this image without enlarging it, but I am wearing what I called "Bishie Sparkle" from the no. 7 Beast Rose Enchantment prize. It has a collar made of hearts and also fun the sparkle attachment.

From the current round of the Fantasy Gacha is the Reverie outfit. I love the details on the shirt! So cool, and belt, sash, holster, and gloves are also really wonderfully made. Guys, you need to not miss this round of the Fantasy Gacha. There are several seriously badass outfits for the men. ...Ok, enough talk, run hurry! *roars*

The Immortal 500: The Fender Fangs Garage

STORYLINE: Getting the Fender Fang gang back together wasn't too hard. Everyone had already forgotten about what happened last year to the unfortunate mechanic Eddie. They were too smitten with the spitfire girl who replaced him, Naar. She had a burning love for speed and a fascination with fire. She was perfect, he didn't think she would run away when he showed her the gang's secret weapon to assure their victory, the "Daylight FireBomb."

Is this racing theme at Level Up, fun or what? Aarya and I have teamed up once more. I'm shooting the pictures while she is away from her photography computer. The shades by Kumaki have a popup menu to change the colors, and switch from up to down positions. I love the skulls and pipes pattern on the side. I'm showing you the materials and closed version. The bed I am messing up with my dirty, oily footprints is the Vroom Bed by Fetch. It's 4 land impact and comes in PG and Adult versions. The tire chair by Kuro is 2 land impact, can change between black and white tires, and has a bunch of single poses including one that will attach to you a steering wheel for your pretend driving purposes. lol  Next to Naar is the adorable car backpack by Tentacio. World Goth Fair: The Spyder Guard

STORYLINE: The leader of the Black Ops in Cursed was none other than Noble Elder Maximilian, the progenitor of the Spyder clan. The Spyders had their threads throughout the city, nothing happened without Maximilian's knowledge. The plain-clothes Spyders hidden in the crowd had taken Elizabeth to the safe place in the sky, the BatHouse of the 101st. While Maximilian personally escorted Scarlet there to meet with her sister. Maximilian was a mystery to most, but Scarlet understood his mind. He was all knowing and powerful but slow to act. She understood he choose his battles wisely. Taking on another ancient, Kaiser Kruel (also known as Horemheb), is nothing to take lightly, but some battles were worth fighting for. The separation of humans and Darks was wrong. Petty differences didn't matter, they were all family. it was time for a conversation, time for two sisters to finally embrace.

Wow I have a lot to cover here. First check out this wonderful retro-80s punk vest by Papermoon. I really love the attention to detail Papermoon does. The vest you can get in several different textures for girls or guys. Then you can pick out back patches for either punk, metal patches, or gothic. On the front buttons you can pick your music genre too. And here's the fun part, the patches and buttons are rigged, that means you can wear these fun button and patches on any outfit you like! Just add buttons to create an instant retro look! The shades by Eclectia I am wearing come with a hud to change to the textures on the frames and lens. I love the options on the lens that include shading up or down and shattered. For my Security look, I included the retro headphones from the Standby gacha, and the group gift armband from Epica (but added my own logo to it). The jeans are by favorites from Ronsem that include a speical closed boot fit version. The belt comes with a hud to change it's colors. The gloves are by O.M.E.N and comes with open and closed attachments. The Iron Cross necklace is another great item in the LNS booth at WGF. It comes with a resizer and bead color changers. While you're at LNS, be sure to pick up the free beautiful masks gift there!

Scarlet is rocking a lot of badass here. She is the leader of the Rebellion afterall, but she still has a tender heart. She's wearing the goregous corset by Couture Rock. I love how this corset fits around the waist and then opens up around the hips. There is a little black lace fringe too. The back has black ribbons. Her necklace is also by Couture Rock and matches perfectly. I didn't show it here, but there is a cameo stocking also at the CR booth that matches the corset, be sure to check that out too. The shoulder armor and finger armor are by Death Row and on sale only a few more days at We <3 Role Play. The Amor and ring also work on the guys. Scarlet's boots are wonderful chained open boot by Death Row availible at Dark Style Fair.  To wear these you need the Slink High foot. To go with it, I used the Gallactic Symbiosis pants with appliers for Slink feet. It comes with appliers for the hands too. I love this texture! So alien and organic like. The armwarmers are a return to Scarlets outfit from last year by Inkubus by SAKIDE. The 2nd fingerclaw is from LNS and you pick it up in several different colors. (All the girl vampires will definitely like this handy spiky thing. lol) Her nail polish is Dark Passion's Koffin nails Shades of Red. Scarlet's signature hairstyle is Ivy by Alice Project. Her blindfold has a little iron cross and safety pins created by Kio at Dark Style Fair, and her sleek black horns are Damned Princess by DirtyStories at Dark Style Fair. The wispy anthers are by Death Row at Suicide Dollz. They look really cool when you wear them, almost like little glittering lights the tiny white points in them. Scarlets skin is an exclusive by Jalwa at World Goth Fair. It's the Celine skin with lovely gothic purple makeup for eyes and lips. By the way, did you guys pick up all the little gifts throughout the three World Goth Fair sims? Be sure you get your free sunblock 1000 at Chaos, Panic, and Disorder before the summer gets here. lol

Haunts of Halloween: Vampire + Daemon

STORYLINE: She brought misery to people's lives, and he sucked away their vitality. What a pair they made this Halloween.

Just in time for All Hallow's Eve, Rokumeikan releases the elegantly dark "Daemon Princess." The beautifully crafted Gothic Lolita dress comes with a rose and horn headdress. If you purchase the fatpack of Rose and Cross you will get bonus matching bonnets of red and gold!  I am wearing The Count by Adam Edelstien which is really fun to wear and also comes with a flexi vampire cape. The blindfold is by AIR and it's good to wear during moments when things are better left unseen. lol This cool long hair from the men's section at Alice Project. I got the Create Your Own version. The first time I did an Alice Project hair dye I was confused. If you see the red strand on the hair, don't worry. It goes away once you commit to a color. The red strand is like reminder the color is in preview mode.

Bunny and Stag

Many great new things to show you today. First up, these two new mesh chairs, Bunny and Stag by Tableau Vivant, are at the 2nd Anniversary of Collabor88. The theme is 1920s. I love this time period!  So many fantastic items. Keep trying to get in, so much coolness going on there. The T.V. chairs can change light wood to dark, and 5 fabric colors are in the event theme color palette. Bunny uses the girl palette, and Stag uses the guy palette. On the right, our elegant, yet powerful Stag girl is wear the new ruffle dress by Ambrosia. It also comes in green, blue, pink, and white pokadot. The dress includes a matching hairbow and bow at the front of dress. We are both wearing the new WTG rings, nails, and bracelets B&C Jewels for girls and guys. They come with a nice hud that will resize to any size hand shape! Fantastic. STORYLINE: The Scarlet Rebellion rescued Little Black Hood from the Deathheads who were busy incinerating everything in the cave. She was brought before the Rebellion leaders. "I am Scarlet, this is Wrath, and Maximilian. We are delighted you have come to us. You are our hope, our messenge in a bottle. Please understand we are desperate people. We are not so different from you. We are your sisters, brothers, wives, husbands, daughters and sons. This place is not a paradise, it is a prison. We have done nothing to deserve this punishment. The mushroom you consumed was watered with powerful blood of our noble elder Maximilian. Wrath dropped it in the human world while on a scouting mission. We are the reason you are here. You are now both Human and Dark. Unlike everyone else, you may freely enter and exit Cursed at will. We will safely take you to the gates of Cursed. We ask for your forgiveness, and please tell the human world about us who are the lost and forgotten."
