Midnight Order : Haunted

STORYLINE: The moonlight glinted on the ripples of the Mississippi as I ducked into an overgrown secret garden on the bank. My presence was noticed, it was as if suddenly all the life of the bayou held its breath, terrified what I might do. They say it's never a good idea to bring back the dead. I'm proof of that. But how can I ignore what the scholars of the Dark Arts Academy revealed to me? Could they be trusted? Certainly not. My life is literally an open book. It would be simple for them to lure me in knowing my weaknesses. And yet, how I could I not try? She was my daughter....  Even as I cleared the decaying leaves from the wrought iron table for the spiritboard, I thought about what they said. It haunted my nightmares. A vampire is immortal. Even separated from its body, the soul continues to be bound to the Earth. I made quick work of filling the goblet with blood, and placing a belonging of hers, an old doll. Could she really be here, lingering in her favorite place to hide? Was she even her anymore?

STORYLINE: Brilliant white light penetrated the dreary halls of the underworld. It felt warm to the Ghost Lady. She closed her eyes and sighed. It was so peaceful standing in its radiance. Souls of the dead shuffled past her towards the light, drawn by instinct like moths to a flame. She suddenly opened her eyes and turned to an elderly woman. "What do you think the light is?" The woman smiled at her, "Why its the light of heaven, my dear." "No, no," the nearby teenager cut her off, "It's a birth canal. Through the tunnel into the light we live again." A man scoffed and waved them off, "I have to say, as a scientist, its a star. Everyone who ever lived, and anything you ever saw, was born in the heart of a star. So maybe, just maybe, we return to it. Matter back into energy," he shrugged. She stood soundlessly, watching them disappear one by one into the light. Everyday she stood here at the portal waiting for her beloved Oliver to return. And everyday she wondered what lay beyond light. It was a mystery she would never solve. She was trapped between the worlds of the living and the dead. Was it really a blessing to be loved by a Reaper?

World Goth Fair: What We Do In Cursed, 2

STORYLINE: It had been one year since the walls around Cursed fell. Those imprisoned in the City of Cursed for being "dark" won their freedom at last! Scarlet, the leader of the Rebellion, was finally reunited with her long lost sister Elizabeth. Their joy was overwhelming. But like any sisters, they eventually had some disagreements.... At first the arguments were over little things like clothing borrowing without permission. Just normal sisterly squabbles, right? Well, mostly. Only a sister of Darkness would threaten to add her sister's head to the collection if the Baron La Croix's sacred skull was not returned immediately.

I'm so happy I was able to return to the Elizabeth and Scarlet plotline from last year. It felt unfinished to not show their reunion last year. But since a year has past, well..., Elizabeth is discovering some of the unpleasant sides of her older sister. lol

The Femdom throne and Gullotine at by Unkindness. The set is a new release for ROMP. The Queen of Hearts throne includes several sitting positions, and the guillotine has a uncomfortable pose for the naughty. The Kendo Sword by Souzou Eien is from the current Anime round of Genre. It comes script with changeable holding poses, or unscripted. You can mod, so I added a red tint to the grips. The Rose cane is by Chaos Panic and Disorder on sale at World Goth Fair. And the Gothic endtable, cognac, and glass are by 22769 ~[bauwerk] on sale at World Goth Fair. STORYLINE: Despite their differences, (and silly arguments over who is the hottest Hottie in Cursed), Elizabeth and Scarlet had a bond so strong the wall that kept them apart broke first.

The hats and Scarlet's necklace are from the deviousMind gacha at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. Each item has 5 colors you can select from a popup menu. Scarlet is wearing the Crystal Spider hat and collar and it makes me happy since the Spiders are a symbol for the Rebellion in my Cursed storylines. ...The collar on Elizabeth is by Sweet Lies, also at the Fnatasy Gacha. ...The white bat on Elizabath's shoulder and the red bat by Scarlet are from the Arkham gacha by Swagga. They're so awesome! Best looking bats in SL! ... Both Scarlet and Elizabeth are wearing the Chelo hair by Olive on sale at the Dark Style Fair. You can get a simple color pack, larger color pack, or fatpack. You can color the streaks separate from the back of the hair.

The Pleasure Palace: The Opium's Curse

STORYLINE: There was defeat in victory. The Cursed A.N.G.E.L was bleeding badly. He needed blood, lots of it. He was delirious. He had already ripped EVA limb from limb, and still he battled on. He attacked spectators blindly, but the blood of genetically engineered humans could not satisfy him. The thirst drove him to more and more horrific acts of violence. Standing calm in sea of screeching people was a man with a dart gun. He knew the Cursed A.N.G.E.L's weakness. A dart soon found it's mark, and the A.N.G.E.L collapsed. ..."Opium. God, why did it have to be opium?" he moaned. He hated that crap. Opium cursed him. If only he hadn't been so damn high on that moonless night long ago, he would have realized from where that bump-in-the-night came, and ran like hell.

ROMP is a fantastic new event for adults with the slogan of "elegant kink." That's right, the best of SL designer's have created new quality products to spice up your sexy time. Don't miss it! For my first post on ROMP, I am showing the Slingback chair by CerberusXing. It comes in teal, pink, black, beige, and purple. Each chair comes with hud will change the silk drap texture and you can also edit tint it like I did above. The chair has 7 single animations, 9 cuddle animations for couples, 5 cuddle animations for a threesome, and the adult version has 9 animations for couples, and 7 animations for threesomes. All poses are adjustable and can save your settings. Land impact of 10. ... The silky heart shaped bed is by Bauwerk. You can get it in PG and Adult. Now a little more about what we are wearing. Aarya returns to BishieStyleSL for a cameo as the vampiress who created the Cursed A.N.G.E.L. I wish her a speedy recovery from surgery and hopefully she can return to blogging soon. Her outfit is by Barerose, hair by Truth, skin by Glam Affair, and pet Shiro is a gacha by Aii. ... You'll have to forgive me for mixing styles here. The Ao Dai by Barerose comes with pants, but who needs those? *throws away* lol Besides, look at these excellent shoes by BOOM. They have a materials' suede look to them you can see in advanced lighting. They are sale at Collabor88 for only 88L and come in girls and guys and many colors options. The Runaway hair Darcy is from Manga Fair. I love the bangs, and though it's meant for girls, it works perfectly on the guys too! The smoking pipe is fun older item by Rozoregells and it contains several poses with the pipe, like I used above. The dark headdress is from Latex Web and was past gift. I combined it with the TAMA Japanese Lantern hairsticks from a past Genre round. The pearl necklace is from Monster and has several strands. It comes with a resize script. Fantasy Faire: The Living Stone

STORYLINE: The victims of Medusa's attack had their souls merged into stone, therefore they could not pass into the afterlife. Persephone, being the daughter of Demeter, had the power to restore their lives. However Medusa's magic was too powerful. The people remained stone. Their steps were difficult and sluggish. Some of them begged Hades for mercy, and he quickly obliged. His touch swiftly brought an end to their suffering. During their labor, Hades and Persephone came upon a young man named Theo who had broken in two at the hip. Hades shook his head sadly and said nothing could be done. Persephone scoffed at him and said, "Nonsense." She took a stone deer who had also been broken and merged the two together. The revived young man was ecstatic. He had been blessed by a miracle. His joy was infectious and even Hades almost cracked a grin. But the young man had trouble walking on his new tiny deer legs. His massive stone weight was just too heavy. When it seemed like he might be give up, Persephone said she had an idea. When she returned, she was carrying the leash of a beautiful albino dragon. "Why walk when you can fly?" She smiled broadly and handed the reigns to Theo. It was the happiness moment of his tragic life. Yes, horrible things happened to him, but with the kindness, skill, and encouragement of others he was able overcome strife and soar to new heights.

This story is my reply to the, "Why I relay" Fantasy Faire blogger challenge. I hope you all enjoyed it! This weekend is the last of the Fantasy Faire. The Ridable Dragon from Dwarfins is fun to wear and it comes in 8 different colors. When you fly, he will fly with you! A shoulder pet version of the flying dragon is a donation item. It has a tiny Dwarfins rider in male or female, and dragon comes in either light and dark. These wonderful horns are by LaNoir Soleil and they have a color change hud for the gems and horns. The tribal tattoo is also by La Noir Soleil and looks great on the Fallen Gods Lacrimosa skin. The faun legs are a rigged mesh attachment for male or female and come with a tattoo fur layer from Satyrs Moon. Wasabi Pills has a fantastic new long hair for men or women can pick up at the faire. The blue, purple, pink version is a donation item. The collar and arm harness are a past limited edition from Glam Affair. This picture was taken at above the Hope's Horizo sim. It's an amazing all mesh build by Jaimy Hancroft of Death Row and Dwarfins. You can walk from the ground level all the way to top. It's a lot of fun to explore.  Have a fun weekend gang!

STORYLINE: Four Edens were inside the old hangout of NicNack, the Reactor Club. The Cursed A.N.G.E.L. attempted to sneak in thorough a backdoor, when he was blocked by Cat-a-Clysm, the personal bodyguard of NicNack. She smirked at him, "I can see the thirst all over your face. I knew you would show up. Your song 'Carpe Noctem' is a junior effort." She suddenly looked left then right, and leaned towards him to whisper, "But your words touched me. Listen, nothing in this town happens unless Kujo says so, including what is a number one song, and what isn't. You want an Eden snack? See Kujo. He could use some new muscle. I'm overworked."

Kawaii Katana! It's a creation taken from the Remarkable Oblivion vault made available at We <3 Role Play this month. It can texure change from red, kawaii, punk, and black. The Cat-A-Clysm headphones also by Remarkable Oblivion are available at FaMESHed. The dramatic bob haircut Valentin from Tableau Vivant looks amazing with this incredible full perm Pirate Corset April gift from Meli Imako. Cat-A-Clysm is wearing the fitted-mesh version. I'm very impressed by how well fitted-mesh can adapt to different sizes including a flat chested style. The glasses by Crie Style sale at Japan Fair are full donation item to the Shelter Box. The side has cute mini parasol and dangling mini fan. The parasol has an open space and this is meant to be seductive, like you see a sneak peek of the person holding the umbrella. While I will snooping around Glam Affair yesterday, I found all the past Arcade gachas are up! Now you can play those machine again and nice skin like this Luria one. The glossy lipstick is a Valentine's group gift from Pink Fuel. Since the outfit was too revealing for a katana wielding ninja girl,  I added the Dark Middar Design bloomers and it worked perfectly! Added a bit more punk style, I used the dangling straps from Sey's Studded belt. The eyes are from Insufferable Dastard, and the cool pose by momomuller works great for the not-too-girlish Cat-A-Clysm.

Dance of the Cranes

This image was inspired by a chance meeting with the sim designer of the snow covered Japanese village, "Yuki No Yume" .. A Dream of Snow. Helping me with the blog since the beginning is Fulli. As I look at this picture above I am struck with a realization that she looks very much like her mother here. Her mom was a professional model in her younger days, and now Fulli is a virtual model.  This skin by Glam Affair reminds her of her mother's look. Fulli's shape is her own creation and based on herself. Adding the elegant ladylike style of Ambrosia and you get a look that seems to have really gone back to her roots.

The Seduction of Snow White, part 3

STORYLINE: Generations upon generations of geisha perfected the art of beauty just as the men perfected the martial arts. Among them rose a legend, a geisha 87 years old, who looked as fresh as the morning dew. It had been to her Prince Ravenna traveled to learn the secret. Contrary to Geisha Tsuyu's claims, she did not really have a miracle skin moisturizer. The trickster was using black magic. When Snow White came into being, Prince Ravenna suspected the old witch was behind it. In a rage, he journeyed to her once more. He grabbed her by the throat and demanded she undo the damage to his beautiful skin. She claimed to be innocent. Her magic only brought to the surface the beauty that was inside. How could she have known what rotten a person he really was? He called her a liar. She was no more inwardly beautiful than he was, conning women into buying her useless cosmetics. She was so outraged, she cursed him again.

At the center of this image is this really nice dining set by Okami on sale at We <3 Role Pay. It comes with 4 seats, and multiple animations for men and women. I'm playing the wicked witch and wearing the new hair Kodji by Ayashi which worked great here for a youkai kind of vibe. Kodji is rigged mesh for both male and female. The Fox mask is by Sakka's Studio, and my fox shoulder pet by Sadistic Hacker. The Japanese Lantern hairsticks are by Tama from the past Genre. My second pet is really cool soul collector by Aii. RMK Halloween: Pumpkin Ghost

STORYLINE:  Are you a human? What are you doing here! This is the ghost-side of RMK Gothic. 

When you first land at RMK Halloween, you are in spooky forest. Follow the path to Jack the Pumpkin Ghost. There you will receive your own free pumpkin ghost outfit, and a game hud. If you wish, you can change to cute the low-lag pumpkin ghost outfit in the theme of the event. The outfit is meant to trick to spirits into thinking you are one them. Once you are ready to begin, wear your game HUD, and continue down the path to the doorway.

RMK Halloween: Nosferatu

STORYLINE: As you walk through RMK Gothic on your way to buy items for a Halloween party, you begin to feel something is not quite right. Trick-or-Trickers wandering the sim have very convincing Halloween costumes. You wonder if those are really costumes, and that vampire looking couple..., they aren't really drinking blood, right?

RMK Halloween has begun! Your challenge in the newest RMK quest game is to make right sweet treat for the right ghost. Ingredients to cook rain down from the sky. Try to combine three of them to create a dessert. Once you have successfully baked a treat, find the ghost that loves your cooking, (even if you made toxic candy!) Stumped? Ask the pumpkins, ghosts, and skulls around the sim for clues. Sometimes they drop hints, other times they say funny things. Your efforts will be richly rewarded with tickets you can exchange for excellent prizes from 23 designers from RMK Gothic! Baroque Style 2013

Marie Antoinette lives again and enjoys a nice live performance at RMK Gothic.

I love Baroque. It was lucky several different events, new releases, and a few goodies from the past all came together for a nice look. This lovely gown by WTG comes in two styles: in dark textures with a color change hud, and a light version. Included are stockings and undergarments. The dress is all mesh in standard sizes plus a WTG shape. There is also ribbon bow for the back (not shown). To further accessorize, you can buy a matching handbag with color change options. The Earrings and chocker are part of WTG's 4th Anniversary set. The mini-Tricorner hat is from Likka House and part of the Twisted Hunt Carnival. There are 6 different styles and one rare. A larger version of the hat with a mask is the Twisted Hunt prize. (You can see it here). The hand-held modesty mask is by Aesthetica at the Limited Bizarre. The theme this round is Baroque. Sadly this item and many others are already sold out, but a few more cool things are still there. Go check it out if you love baroque. The eyes are one of my favorites from Poetic Colors. The heart tattoo is from the Haru set by Cupcakes. The lip is a lovely sheer tattoo from Pink Acid. The skin is Margot by Glam Affair from the August round at Collabor88. By the way, the new sim for Glam Affair and Tableau Vivant has opened and there appears to be 2 new skins for the guys!

Bunny and Stag

Many great new things to show you today. First up, these two new mesh chairs, Bunny and Stag by Tableau Vivant, are at the 2nd Anniversary of Collabor88. The theme is 1920s. I love this time period!  So many fantastic items. Keep trying to get in, so much coolness going on there. The T.V. chairs can change light wood to dark, and 5 fabric colors are in the event theme color palette. Bunny uses the girl palette, and Stag uses the guy palette. On the right, our elegant, yet powerful Stag girl is wear the new ruffle dress by Ambrosia. It also comes in green, blue, pink, and white pokadot. The dress includes a matching hairbow and bow at the front of dress. We are both wearing the new WTG rings, nails, and bracelets B&C Jewels for girls and guys. They come with a nice hud that will resize to any size hand shape! Fantastic. This huge mane for hair that says, "King of Jungle" is called Leah by Alice Project and it's available at the current round of the Zodiac. The outfit I have on is by the Black Carney. I am still crossing my fingers the entire store will come back online. But until then you can pick some highlighted items at RMK Gothic.

Captured Butterfly

STORYLINE: She spent her charmed life like a butterfly, flitting gently from one nightclub to next. She was a beautiful songstress with the voice of an angel. She was never for want of money or love. She seemed to have the best luck. That is, until one stormy night she stepped into the Peacock Hotel never to be seen again. No one knows what happened that night. She is presumed dead, but her body was never found. Even today on dark stormy nights, the ghosty voice of this captured butterfly can be heard once again echoing in the halls.

Is this hat by Frozen Hat cool or what? Love the spiderwebs and butterflies. It comes is several colors too. The dress is by Panda Express and was on last month's We Love Roleplay round for nice sale price. The inworld store has even more colors. Is this Madpea's Madcity sim goreious or what? It's stunning.  And I have some Madpeas news, on August 1st there will be a sequel to the Room 326 hunt, called The Cry of the Peacock. It will have new prizes, new stores, and new challenges. Can't wait!

Vistors to RMK Castle sometimes marvel at how well it is maintained when a cleaning staff is never seen. The secret is the hardworking Bunny Maids. Occasionally, a shy Bunny Maid will be spotted, and like a pale ghost she quickly disappears leaving you to wonder if you had imagined the lovely delicate creature, or not.
