Adventures in Linden Lab's Winter Wonderland

When I heard about Linden Labs' new Winter Wonderland destination, I did a happy dance. This was exactly what I hoped the Labs would do when they asked for suggestions a few months ago. I really enjoyed the Haunted House ride for Halloween. This new addition is even larger! The Linden Portal has become a busy place. Love it!

Winter Wonderland is 4 connecting sims. It all mesh and looks great with advanced lighting and materials. When you land, be sure to accept the Experience Keys when they pop up. In the town zone, there are gifts for everyone, be sure to pick those up. You can catch the fireworks show at the top of each hour. In the snowball fight zone, you can choose from Snow Pistol or Snow Rifle. Members of the premium club have a 3rd choice, the Snow Bazooka. (NOTE: To get the premium gifts, go the Linden sandbox and click the gift vendors. Wear the Ribbon and Medal to get the extra options. Not a member? Right now there is a 50% off sale to join.) The weapons for snowball fight work inside the snowball zone. To use the snow guns outside the sim, you need to wear the gift versions. Over in park zone, The Ferris Wheel has a funny sign. To seat two people it's tricky, but keep trying. One person on the left and the other on the right. There are free skates in the ice rink, and you can customize your skates too. Over on the race track zone, you can choose a snowboard or snowmobile. The snowmobile can seat 2 people. Watch out on the snowboard, it has a jetpack on the back. You can easily fly off the course and land on someone's head. ...Maybe that's why one of them boards looks like a giant bandaid. lol

To shoot the video I used SL Go on firestorm. It makes it possible for me to film with advanced lighting with fast frame rate. I even blazed around the track with no lagging. Sweet! The service is $10 a month. January is currently free for those would were subscribers in December, due a teleport bug on the official viewer. I really loving being able to shoot video now. RMK Gothic: The Dark Circus

The Dark Circus has come to RMK Gothic! You can find this cute new area to explore in the garden near Theater Chain. Pictured above is Rokumeikan's kodona/ouji style Harlequin in monocolor (there is a rare red version also). It's an outfit for girls, but I am playing up the boyishness here. It's from the new Straw Hat gacha. You can find it at Castle Rokumeikan. The skin I'm wearing is a fun vampire skin for girls by Dead Apples available on sale at We <3 Role Play. I love the hint of blood on the lips and if you open the mouth, you can see bloody teeth too. I added a past free fangs from [ni.Ju] and tinted them to match. The pierrot eye makeup is part of Carousel Black outfit from Likka House. The hairstyle is brand new from Ayashi. This style is so nice for the guys! Pastel color lover take note, Ayashi has introduced a new color palette called Summer. In the picture of the Harlequin outfit below, you can see the cute Batwing backpack by Tartcake. I picked up at Project Limited. The adorable dollstyle creepers are by BOOM. They were at the May round of Collabor88, and now you get them at the BOOM mainstore. They are unrigged for SLink Flat feet.

Yes, that's a Tim Burton styled mini mesh house! It's a limited edition from Death Row. Last I checked there were 65 copies left at Project Limited. The shell is 30 land impact, and with the furniture it's 35. The house can scale up and be modded, but the bed, chair and sofa are no mod. They all contain single male and female, couple poses. Our lovely Trapeze artist is wearing the rare prize from the Theater Chain Unicorn Accessories gacha. From Hair Fair, is the Victoria style created by LaNoir Soleil Designs. You can pick up a fatpack, color pack, or promo pack of pink and purple at a discount price. Under neither the outfit, she is wearing the sakura fishnet body suit that's a free gift from Curious Kittens. 6) Touch the sign of the prize you wish. Prize will be delivered. Points used will be subtracted from your total.

Baroque Style 2013

Marie Antoinette lives again and enjoys a nice live performance at RMK Gothic.

I love Baroque. It was lucky several different events, new releases, and a few goodies from the past all came together for a nice look. This lovely gown by WTG comes in two styles: in dark textures with a color change hud, and a light version. Included are stockings and undergarments. The dress is all mesh in standard sizes plus a WTG shape. There is also ribbon bow for the back (not shown). To further accessorize, you can buy a matching handbag with color change options. The Earrings and chocker are part of WTG's 4th Anniversary set. The mini-Tricorner hat is from Likka House and part of the Twisted Hunt Carnival. There are 6 different styles and one rare. A larger version of the hat with a mask is the Twisted Hunt prize. (You can see it here). The hand-held modesty mask is by Aesthetica at the Limited Bizarre. The theme this round is Baroque. Sadly this item and many others are already sold out, but a few more cool things are still there. Go check it out if you love baroque. The eyes are one of my favorites from Poetic Colors. The heart tattoo is from the Haru set by Cupcakes. The lip is a lovely sheer tattoo from Pink Acid. The skin is Margot by Glam Affair from the August round at Collabor88. Sinistrati and the Masks of Secret Societies

STORYLINE: Ludovico Sinistrati the First was the Grand Inquisitor of the Vatican in the 15th century. Sinistrati is most well known for writing the bible on Demonology, especially the Incubus and Succubi. But what is not known is how he came into this knowledge. It all began on a mission to purge pagan secret societies and their hedonistic rituals.

Check out this killer outfit by Pucca Firecaster Creations, the Inquisitor. It comes in two verisons, one with chains, book, and pages, and one without. There is a hud to change the robe color, chain colors, book cover, and page art. Very cool and on sale now at We <3 Role Play.

STORYLINE: Members of the secret societies wore masks to hide their true identity. Wearing his own mask, Grand Inquisitor Sinistrati infiltrated their sinful organizations. Much of their confessions under torture were the basis of Daemonialitate et Incubis et Succubis.

RMK Gothic Bunny Hunt: The Tweedle Twins

STORYLINE: The White Rabbit leaned back and stared at her with unblinking eyes. "I answered your questions, Alice. Time for you to answer mine. Who is tallHat, and where can I find him?" "What?" Alice was stunned. "I thought you knew him." The White Rabbit seemed unimpressed by her response. "Secret agents Dee and Dum will safely guide you to the border of Wonderland, you need to avoid the Spades." "Follow us!" "Yes follow us! I'm Tweedle Dee," the girl chirped. "I'm Tweedle Dum," the boy grumbled. Alice took a closer look at the twins. They wore eyepatches and had many scars on their arms. She thought it odd for children. Before she could protest the twins were far too young for protection duty, the White Rabbit drank something, became a tiny rabbit, and hopped away. 

The WTG Checkemate prize for Bunny Hunt fits the female base. I am using femboy shape to show them. The male version is available at the WTG store for sale. There are also earrings and necklaces for guys and girls in the Checkmate series. Also shown are these cool Rose Eyepatches by Likka House for the Twisted Hunt. The white bunny is the hunt prize from Soup and comes with a hold pose. The black bunny stuffed animal by Lamplight is from the Anime Hunt and comes in many different wearable versions. The Twins are both wearing Likka house bunny hunt prize, but the collar and cuffs on Dee are the AIR prize. The cameo on the collar is a very cool design with 2 bunnies on it.

STORYLINE: Alice had a bad feeling about this, and she still had not made contact with her informat "tallHat." A group of Spade Card Soliders spotted them. Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dum shoved her into the bushes, and commanded her to hide there. She was shocked how strong they were. The bunnies withdrew deadly looking weapons from their stuffed animals. Alice's suspicions were right, these were definitely not children! The Bunnies must be abusing drugs from the Pink to make themselves smaller and larger. She wasn't about the miss this opportunity to get away. She bolted into the dark forest, and began her search in earnest for tallHat.

Valentine's Day is coming. It's a time of year that inspires groans and depression. It's so rotten it's ripe for a Gothic revision. Forget cupid, this year I will dress up as a demon. Since no one is really scared of me, I will wear a shirt that gives a dire warning, "I will cuddle you so hard." lol

This is Vonie, the next generation of the Vaughns. He showed up on my doorstep and announced he was my long lost son. Before I could ask questions, he pointed to his blood stained tuxedo and asked for my help. Judging by the black rose bouquet with the notecard reading "I hate you," I tend to agree. I listened to his tale of woe in stunned silence. I dont know what he is doing on these "dates" of his, but the fool keeps going out there, day after day looking for love. Will he find a date that won't try to kill him in time for Valentine's Day? Who knows. I decided to give him some advice.
