STORYLINE: So he was little obsessed with swords, no big deal. So shiny and sharp, he couldn't help himself. He collected them like a rat building a nest. They said he was "batty" or had "bats in the cave" which was just another way to say "a screw loose." But he had to admit, there just something cool about bats. They hid in caves and only came out at night. A cave was a great place to hide his collection. In fact, he decided the bat would be his totem animal. Yeah. A rat that can fly. He liked it, it was fitting.

Matching that pink skin is the Remarkable Oblivion Wocky Wings from the Alice in the Wonderland gacha. The older Remarkable Oblivion Malificient Head Wings you can still find in the marketplace. STORYLINE: The alarm had been triggered by an unknown alien artifact. Oucie suited up and went outside to investigate. To his surprise, he discovered the object was a lifepod and it was not empty either. Sleeping inside, with arms crossed over it's chest, was a majestic looking pale alien. A deep blue blush stung Oucie's cheeks. He had no doubt discovered a rare treasure. He immediately took it back to the moonbase. His pet jellyfish, Twinkles, flashed angry colors at him the second he brought the pod indoors. Oucie had never seen his pet so upset before. He shrugged it off as jealousy. Afterall, for three years, Twinkles had been the only friend he had. And in all those years, nothing this exciting had happened before. He turned his attention once more to the sleeping alien. He had so many questions. There was something about it.... Then finally he couldn't stand anymore, he begin to touch the dials on the side of the pod. Twinkles circled around him frantically flashing red over and over again. He ignored Twinkles. There had to be someway to revive the alien.

The Yasum pants come with a hud to change textures. They are unisex with male and female fits, but you will need to edit your shape the best fit. The Vampire ears are by Trap. Brow applier by Clef de Peau, and Makeup by Aii. The brilliant Metatron wings and halo are by Nerox. Each part is animated and gives very cool effect for your cyber outfits. (see animation below)
STORYLINE: What happened next was a haze. Oucie lay helpless on the floor in a pool of his own blue toned blood. The creature had attacked him. It had strange powers. He understood now the alien was a Parasitic lifeform, and he just stupidly released it from its prison. As darkness threatened to overtake him once more, he whispered a prayer for forgiveness. STORYLINE: Nicoli All-Seeing had a problem. One year had passed since the Goodwill Killer struck London. Those who helped the unfortunate had their life sucked away. Now there were not enough toys to give the orphans, and christmas was tomorrow. A feeling of hopeless begun to overtake Nicoli. None of his assurances that the Goodwill Killer had been caught seemed to matter. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. The strange young man named Elfie shook the ancient immortal's hand furiously as his eyes sparkled wildly with glee. He claimed he was Nicoli's biggest fan and asked for his autograph. Elfie produced a small wooden toy from his bag for him to sign. Nicoli turned it over and remarked how wonderfully the toy was made. Elfie grinned proudly and told him he was a toy maker; Nothing made him happier than to see a child smile. Nicoli got an idea. "Elfie, I know this short notice, but can you help me make 25 toys for the St. Mary's in time for Christmas?" Elfie didn't give it a moment's thought. "Yes, of course! I have lots of toys! I would be delighted to help!"

The Fantasy Gacha Carnival is opening tomorrow, November 6th, with the themes of Silver, Gold, Angels, and the Dark Side of the Moon. This post is inspired by the devilish outfit by !gO! and the book Good Omens (that was featured in a past A Tattered Page). I really loved the book and I'm delighted to get a chance to return to the theme of Angels and Demons. The !gO! furry pants are a first of their kind in sl! They are perfect for demons and dwellers in the colder regions of SL. The pants come in long and short styles to make it easier for you to wear boots or digitigrade legs. The cape has a hood, and works best if you wear an alpha to cover the ears. The belts are wonderful and be worn without the cape. The upper horns are Sahara'S Elya Horns also at the Fantasy Gacha. The lower horns from the past Fantasy Gacha by Aisling. The tattered Azrael Bone Wings by Remarkable Oblivionare on sale at We <3 Role Play. This fun very green skin Moss is by Fallen Gods and includes so many great appliers. I used the Omega one for the Slink Body. To match my Death Row Creature Legs, I added the Dragon Scales Omega Applier by Even-tide. Mr Crawly's Snake tongue is by DownDownDown. Touch it and you can change the color. Its mod so you can scale and resize it how you want. For make up, I used the Trickster eyeliner from Dusk by [ni.Ju], and Noir chapstick by Random Matter. STORYLINE: Clan Noche lord from Mexico, Sugar Sugar, could let nothing foil his massive Day of the Dead celebration. He had gathered to himself likeminded Children of Noche. In fact, the most ancient of their kind was coming thanks to the superb tracking skills of Viuda Negra. There would be only one chance to convince Kaiser Kruel to found a colony in the Americas. Unlike the other human cities who were all now refusing to grant asylum to the newly homeless denizens of Cursed, things would be different in the New World. There would be no refugee crisis. The people of Central and South America had a long tradition of blood offerings and human sacrifice. It was based on an ancient belief life was stolen from the gods. To appease these angry gods, life needed to be offered back. It was perfect. These beliefs Clan Noche could exploit to their advantage. It was time to revive the old Blood God cult.

I was inspired by several dynamic new releases. By AIR are these wonderful windblown cuffs. Touch them to bring up a hud to chose what pose for each ribbon you want. It comes in 3 colors, and you can edit the cuffs to best fit. From Cubic Cherry is the windblown harness Storm that is the gift for the Femboy Hunt. It's unrigged so you can edit it for best fit. That's right, shown above is the brand new Slink Male Body! Slink has updated it's hands, feet, and bodies to accept Omega appliers. The shorts shown here are Omega appliers by Apricot Paw. The Souzou Eien blindfold is a Vivid Dreams Kink Hunt gift. The dreamers boots are also by Souzou Eien, I loved the imagaitive clouds texture for them. Unholy specters were invading the Temple of Magnolia Mound. Like a flash of lightning, he struck, his enchanted blade dispatching the ghosts back to the netherworld.
One of the best events of the year, Origami RIN-NE is not to be missed! The Origami shopping event of traditional Japanese items has teamed up with the talented folks behind last year's horror adventure, Kagami. The sims are decorated full of spooky cool ambience and jumpscares. As you investigate the disappearance of a young girl, you will travel throughout a town being overrun by spirits. The story is based on the Yamata no Orochi myth. Be sure to look for the gold coins as you explore, they give fabulous prizes! (TIP: As you get near a coin you need, it will turn the RIN-NE red on your hud. Pretty cool trick!) Aleksei lived a dangerous life smuggling goods past rival territories for his boss, the God of the Wastelands. While many failed, Aleksei had an amazing delivery record. The secret to his success was his willingness to venture into the radioactive Exclusion Zone. Any fool who valued their life wouldn't dare follow him there. The way he figured it, no one lived past 35 in these brutal times, so what did it matter if he lost a few years of his life each time went? He was never going to die of old age anyway. Get your motor running! At the brand new event for men onl, The Arena, you can score some seriously badass stuff. Over at The End event, is this fantastic new outfit Max by FATEplay. It includes a badass bullet belt that I love so hard, a cool jacket with shirt you can wear under it, a face mask, jeans, and boots too! That's right, FATEwear is now also creating shoes. The boots are included in the outfit, however if you want to mix it up and change the colors on the boots, get the Turner Boots with the color hud. Like all FATEwear products, the FATEstep shoes are also mesh that isn't heavy, so you can wear your new FATEplay and FATEstep at busy events and not suffer from the lag as much as other people. I really loved this event, the start, bonus room and coupon rooms are all wonderfully made, and the gachas are all fun with a dark twist. The vampire face mask is the rare from 7 Mad Ravens, Hellion. It also includes an eye patch and horns.

STORYLINE: Back in time when the Sakura did not bloom like does today, the Emperor's beloved wife became ill during pregnancy with their first child. The physicians did what they could. All that was left was to pray. The Emperor went to the scared tree that oversaw his rule. He begged the spirit of the Sakura do him a favor once more and save his wife and unborn child.
Going on now is the Origami Spring Festival. It's a lovely time of year in Japan when the beautiful Cherry Trees bloom. The Origami event in SecondLife is not to be missed! There are so many awesome goodies and ambiance, and that of the surrounding sims, is excellent! The picture above was taken at the entrance of the event. STORYLINE: The Spirit of the tree knew the unborn child was female and she would grow up as beautiful and delicate as her mother. So after much pleading, the Spirit agreed on one condition, the princess would join him and become his wife once she came of age. The Emperor was horrified and refused. Hearing his distress, Spirit told him not to worry, each Spring she would return and bring her beauty back into the world she left behind. With tearful eyes the Emperor agreed, and that is how the Sakura got it's bloom.
I'm so excited to show you this sweet tea house, Cha-Shitsu modern, by Theater Chain. I was lucky to get a sneak peek of this wonderful creation being constructed. It's all mesh with a clean white and black color palette. There are two front sliding doors, and off to the side is a sliding door for the host. It comes with two cushion for the patio, left is a female smoking pose, and right is for male. Inside there is an additional matt, hearth, and traditional tea ceremony kettle with wooden serving spoon. The tea house is 53 Li. You can see as demo for the house at the entrance gate of the event.

I recommend the guys get the large size. The Inferna Nail gloves are by Miamai. They are a long glove for the girls, but under a coat or jacket, the guys can wear these badass claws too. The Deadshine eyes are by IKON and you can pick them up as a group gift. The skin is Tableau Vivant Ray, on sale 50% off at We <3 Role Play, and I added the Blair lip tattoo by The Shops over the top for a more "friendly" looking half smile.

This setting is from the Bauwerk Ice Throne set on sale at the Midwinter Fair. It includes a large and small statue, ice platform, arch, and ice throne.
