World Goth Fair: What We Do In Cursed, 1

STORYLINE: Good evening mortals. Welcome to Cursed's 4th annual World Goth Fair. As relations between The Dark and Humans normalize, we hope a tour of the city with opportunities to meet our colorful denizens will help promote understanding and trust. I am Commander Ashe of the Night Troops. I will be your escort. We are not that much different than you. We creatures of the night put on our black leather pants one leg at a time too. But if I were you, I would not lag behind. Some of the residents have more hunger than sense. Follow me.

The bats have left the belltower, its time to get your Goth on! The World Goth Fair is open! Each year World Goth Fair tries something new: things that didn't work out get dropped, and new ideas are tried. There will be staggered releases throughout the event, and several on May 22 for World Goth Day itself. And I am excited to tell you this year a little batty whispered in my ear something very special is going to happen. Something that uses the words "Gothic Bands" and "LIVE in SecondLife" in the same sentence. Watch the official World Goth Fair blog for an official statement, bands, and times!

STORYLINE: At night after the crew retires, a haunting and mournful music fills the Nautilus. It the music of Captain Nemo. He skillfully plays of the grand pipe organ in the aft. Understand this ship is metal. The walls themselves vibrate and amplify the sound. There is no escaping him. His turbulent moods reach the ears of all souls onboard. I wonder about this troubled man. Where is he from? Why has he chosen this lifestyle? How was it possible to build such a ship as this? Why sink ships? Why murder so many innocents? During the times he occupied with music, I sneak into his private library to learn  more about the man who holds us captive.

One more post for the finale of A Tattered Page's 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. In this scene is the Bookcase by Park Place. It includes an animated underwater scene, books and accessories. It's mod so I added some tints and hid the lamp. In the water are 3 of Spyralle's cool jellyfish. They are mod, so I flatted them out for the background. On the shelf is a framed print by Fallen Gods, the Diving Helmet by 22769, and the prized pearl stand by BluePrintz. Touch it to change the texture of the metal and the pearl. On the lower self  and floor I added the 20,000 Leagues under the Sea books by Fallen Gods. The seashell and coral are part of sea decorating pack by BareRose. On the wall is the Portal by Noctis with animating fish, and below that is the Painting by Fallen Gods. All the items by Fallen God are a wonderful free gift you can pick up at A Tattered Page's library.

Also from Tattered Page is the captain Nemo hat, outfit and boots by Avatar Bizarre. The boots come with a hud to change thier color to match the various color choices on the uniform. The outfit comes in male and female.  On the mesh head is the Alyx skin by Tableau Vivant. The hair base also by T.V. is on sale now at Creation.Jp, and the beard for the TMP head you can pick up at the T.V. main store. (Note: Now a word of warning. Sometimes I have an alpha errors where the hairbase meets the sideburns and sometimes I don't. I'm not sure what is causes the alphas to conflict sometimse and not others.)

The Ghost of Christmas Future

STORYLINE: The visage of the Ghost of Christmas Future changed according to the fate of the beholder. To some he was beautiful, and to others a walking nightmare. He could see all possible futures. Such visions wore him down. When forced to give a prediction to a pesty mortal, he switched to a terrifying skeletal form and showed them their doom. After all, it was the only certainty.

If you have had it up to your black-lined eyes in holiday "cheer," I have greats news for you, -- Gothmas by Gaslight runs until January 5th! Leave those happy tunes and bright colors behind and slip into the sensual elegance of Gothmas with the help of the many talented Goth designers on the grid. My subtle hint this is the Ghost of Christmas Future is in the Drago bowtie with a skeletal hand by Bliensen + MaiTai. A must have for the guys is the Breeze hair by Tableau Vivant. Love it! you can pick it up on a discount at Creation.JP.  Junbug has a gacha at the Midwinter Fair for this awesome Winter Cloak. It can be worn by girls and guys. I recommend the guys get the large size. The Inferna Nail gloves are by Miamai. They are a long glove for the girls, but under a coat or jacket, the guys can wear these badass claws too. The Deadshine eyes are by IKON and you can pick them up as a group gift. STORYLINE: It was the Ghost of Christmas Future who sent an urgent message to Nicoli All-Seeing. He foretold a growing threat to Christmas in the heart of London. If something was not done soon to change fate, Christmas would forever be changed.

This setting is from the Bauwerk Ice Throne set on sale at the Midwinter Fair. It includes a large and small statue, ice platform, arch, and ice throne. The textures with materials on it are awesome, so neat! The event lasts until Dec 31st. Some nice gachas there for 30L, and don't miss all the gifts under the Christmas tree!

The Remorse of Victor Frankenstein

A Tattered Page [*citation needed] is a brand new event from the Cursed crew. Designers create items from their own imagination inspired by words from the selected novel for that round. (That means no styles or ideas taken from movie, TV shows, plays, comics or other adaptions.) I love this concept. It's true, when reading a novel, an image is created in the mind of the reader. Each person's inner visualization is unique to them. For the first round,  Mary Shelley's gothic novel classic, Frankenstein was picked. Contrary to all the many Hollywood versions of the story, the original is very different. It's been wonderful to see what all the designers came up with. Each item comes with a quote from Frankenstein that inspired the item (that's the *citation needed part of the event). The event runs from November 7-November 30th. This is a store to store hop, just look for the Tattered Page display in each store. This post was inspired by Dingy and wonderfully descriptive moment in the book selected by Roawenwood. The Broken Melancholia Dinghy will not be sold like this again after the event ends, it's an exclusive. The boat comes in scripted, and unscripted versions, 2-4 land impact. It has 18 couple animations. It also comes with a paddle and cattails.

Wow, this was such a hard shot to do. I hope you guys like it. Dr Frankenstein is wearing a cool late-Regency / Early Victorian outfit by Avatar Bizarre. It's one piece with coat and pants, and also includes hat, shoes, and cravat. You can choose from many colors, and one of the colors is an exclusive. I love this ring so much! It's the Wedding Night ring by Bliensen + MaiTai for Tattered Page. The black color version is an exclusive to the event. You can get it in gemstones blue, red, green, or purple, and either black skeleton hands or ivory. It's mod so you can adjust it for a good fit. This angsty pose, The Night, is by NanTra. It worked great here for Victor's conflicted feelings. Adding movement for underwater is the Ken Urei hair by Argrace. This wonderful Rays Mort Vivant Shadow pale skin tone by Tableau Vivant is on sale at the Xiasumi School Festival. It includes appliers for hands and feet. I love the details around the eyes and the highlight on the nose. To match the pale skintone, I used the Fingernail Naturals freebie gift from A:S:S. I love the Winter eyes by S0NG, I picked up the green ones recently. Below the surface is a set I built using the Kelp by Aley and MeadowWorks. With all this nice yummy seagrass laying around, I could not resist letting momma manatee and baby from Aqua Shop Gonbe roam around in it. It's manatee heaven down there afterall. lol You can see them hiding in the seagrass on the lower left side.

STORYLINE: Kaiser Kruel had no use for a vehicle, mechanic, or teammate. He was one of the most ancient of the vampire world. One does not survive long being a fool. He was as crafty as he was powerful. It was him who donated "The most fabulous object of the underworld" as a prize. He had no intention of loosing it. His true goal was to eliminate the most ambitious vampires that threaten his power. He successfully turned the strongest against each other, then sailed to a easy victory to reclaim his treasure, The Heart of Aten. He didn't even break a claw. It was good to be the Ruler.

MeshedUp released this fun Beetle Couch for Level Up a few days ago. It has wheels and hotrod skulls and flames on the side. It comes with poses for guys, girls, and couples. These nice tweed pants with historical style double button fly are from Junbug.  You can pick it up in several different color, and also the matching shirt and best. World Goth Fair: Dissension

STORYLINE: Not everyone loved the idea of humans and Darks intermingling for one day a year. The foremost critic of this new policy was none other than the creator of penal colony himself, Kaiser Kruel. Despite his protest, the event was moving forward so he sent out his righthand man to do his dirty work. Gin was delighted with the task. As fabulous as he looked, he was just as vicious. There was nothing Gin loved more than breaking wayward Darks who didn't appreciate the infinite wisdom of Kaiser Kruel.

Glamtastic Gin returns by request to rock fashions made for both guys and girls. The fun Madhatter hat with spider comes from Mitternacht outfit by the Avatar Bizarre. The jacket is Avatar Bizarre's Panzermensch. Gin is getting away with wearing the strappy pants for girls from Endorphin. And his boots are also for girls from the Little Bat's gacha Axi Boots. His Dracula half-rimmed glasses are by Eclectica. His fangs and fangs jewels are by [ni.Ju]. Gloves with materials by Fatewear. His favorite shirt is KC No.53 by Kyoko Couture, and skin Noctis by Tableau Vivant. His poor victim's style card is on the Dark Phantom blog post: The Crimson Ruler, but I can tell you her purse is Pipistrello by Bliensen + MaiTai with little bat charms on the string, and the pose I used for her comes the Gacha Pond Love Bites vampire poses by NanTra. (I won them all expect that elusive pose #2. *grumbles*) Now let's talk about this cool scenery! The lordly black Chtuluh chair is by bauwerk and comes with a collection of single poses. Behind the chair is a gigantic mesh black marble Oblodisk with red flowers. Love it! It comes with and without lighting,. To the side is the Cthulhu Urn by Nacht. Sinistrati and the Masks of Secret Societies

STORYLINE: Ludovico Sinistrati the First was the Grand Inquisitor of the Vatican in the 15th century. Sinistrati is most well known for writing the bible on Demonology, especially the Incubus and Succubi. But what is not known is how he came into this knowledge. It all began on a mission to purge pagan secret societies and their hedonistic rituals.

STORYLINE: Members of the secret societies wore masks to hide their true identity. Wearing his own mask, Grand Inquisitor Sinistrati infiltrated their sinful organizations. Much of their confessions under torture were the basis of Daemonialitate et Incubis et Succubis.

There are several awesome masks in the Twisted Carnival and Eyes Wide Shut hunts and related gachas. Both hunts ends September 30th.

STORYLINE:  Little Red Hood was a happy girl who she loved to cook. She experimented with new spices and exotic vegetables to her grandmother's delight. Tuesday night was their special time together. Little Red Hood looked forward to their meeting all week. She was especially proud of her newest creation, it was so delicious! She was skipping and humming a happy tune when tragedy struck.

While you are listening to some inspired gothic tunes, I will tell you a little more about the image above. I wear a fantastic free mesh bat demon avatar from the BareRose raffle. Fulli is wearing the Little Red Riding Hood by RokumeikaN. This outfit comes with a picnic basket, fruits, detachable hood, cape, collar, and apron.  You can add the apples and strawberries to the apron and it triggers a hold pose. It's adorable. All proceeds from the sale of Little Red Riding Hood at World Goth Fair go to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.

Little Red Hood desperately pleaded her innocence to Kaiser Kruel, the leader of the Deathheads. She tried to keep the Deathhead moths from landing on her, but it was too late. Kaiser huffed, "There is no such thing as a spontaneous case of Dark. Dark you are, and dark you will stay. Welcome to Cursed."

Ha ha fun! Little Red is now Little Black! The basket now has bones, a skull, brains, and other toxic looking things. I love it! So twisted. As for my outfit, I am wearing the Bliensen + MaiTai Deathhead moths. My evil vamp eyes are from Avatar Bizarre. The exaggerated hallow cheeks and pursed lips are by Pin Me Down. The hair I got during the Truth sale. Truth has moved to new location and the store looks very nice. New link below. This great mesh fur coat is so much fun. It's at Curio Obscura gacha sale, and the cigarette holder is also on sale at The Seashole, but hurry, the store is closing. You can't see them too well in this picture, but I wearing cat claw rings by Glitz. They look cool with the cigarette holder animation. On Black Caesar

1700s. Black Caesar, according to traditional accounts, was a prominent African tribal war chieftain. Widely known for his "huge size, immense strength, and keen intelligence," he evaded capture from many different slave traders. Caesar was finally captured, but escaped into Florida Keys and began a life of piracy. For nearly a decade, he raided shipping from the Florida Keys and later served as one of Captain Blackbeard's chief lieutenants aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge. Caesar's Rock, one of three islands located north of Key Largo, is the present-day site of his original headquarters and named in his honor.
