Fantasy Faire 2020: The Severed Garden

The Fantasy Faire was a huge success this year, lots of fun was had by all and $73,572 USD was raised for Relay for Life. Congrats to 700+ Faire staff and designers who helped make this happen, and to all the Faireland visitors who enjoyed and donated. Well done!

Several elements from both the Engine Room and Fantasy Faire inspired this post. From the Engine Room is the Lux Hair from Raven Bell. It comes in multiple fits for men and women. The from and the back are separate, so you can combine hairs or color then separately. Included is a unrigged bow with its own texture hud. Matching up nicely with the hair is the Auxentios Pass version of the Atreus coat by Contraption, which was a Relay for Life item at the Fantasy Faire. The textures for it a wonderful, you can pick out what colors you want for different fabrics from the texture hud. From the Fantasy Faire is this wonderful garden by The Looking Glass. STORYLINE: He inhaled deeply the smoke of the serpent pipe. As he exhaled, the snake at the tip hissed out smoke trails. He watched it lazily meander towards a nearby rockface. The pipe was a prized relic of the Kōmori clan. It was not of this world, it belonged to the spiritworld. It's smoke was being sucked toward a heavy spiritual presence nearby. There must be hidden cave. "Father," he smiled. "At last I found you." Once inside the cave, he discovered the massive fallen skeleton of his father, its batwings still stretched out, as if he might fly away at any moment. Beside it impaled in a pile of skulls, was the gleaming legendary katana of his father. Smoke swirled around it. The pulsing power emanating from the sword gave him goosebumps. He climbed up the pile of bones and lovingly withdrew his birthright. "Nightfang" he whispered to it as it were his lover, "So nice to meet you at last."

The idea of this post was inspired by one of my favorite animes.  The pipe, tattoo, hairsticks, and pants you can find at Japonica. The Bento wings are part of the brand new Linden Labs Bento starter avatars, and the bento tail is by Murder of Ravens. The giant skeleton is part of the Cureless gacha at Epiphany.

Ghosts of August, 2

STORYLINE: As he darted from rooftop to rooftop in his search of a fugitive evil spirit, a scent stopped him dead in his tracks. There was something definitely going on this tiny town on the outskirts of the spirit world. He could swear he smelled a human girl.

What luck that Fantasy Gacha this round has Asia as one of the 3 main themes. I had fun picking up a few pieces to wear while playing the Kagami game. The Empresses Staff by Tia comes with a hud to change it's colors, Naturally I gothed it up some. The Axis Musha headband is another rare that comes with a hud to change it's colors. The War Fans by Black Pearls I flipped on it's side and tinted red. Sale sale from We <3 Role Play is the must-have pale tone for Echo. It includes hand and foot appliers. Also by Tableau Vivant is the Nyoki hair. It comes with scalp textures, a rigged dreadlock, and feathers. The red face tattoo is a free gift at Kagami by Air / ::KU::. It includes a 3rd eye for your forehead. The Ron scarfs are by FATEwear. Like all FATEwear you can tint the mesh whoch is what I did here. The eyes are Chammy Lust by S0NG. Vampire Ears by Trapp.

STORYLINE: He searched the gloom from his perch above the town. The strange mechanical clicking sound he heard, it was a human device. He heard it again, and this time he was sure. It was a camera shutter. There is no way he could allow photographs to be taken of the spirit realm! He needed to find that girl fast!

This wonderful outfit Jinbei for men is by Silvery K at Kagami. It comes with a hud for switching around the textures. I love the horror theme textures on this. And speaking of horror goodies at Kagami, how about these bloody spiked Geta by CerberusXing? They are awesome and work with Slink flatfoot, but if you want to wear them on the default avatar you can too. The geta come in different colors, and there is short version for the ladies slink mid foot. The lantern I am holding is a Naminoke gift you can pick up at the entrance to the Kagami game. The Grapple and the Ninja belt are both from the Pucca Firecaster gacha at Fantasy Gacha. You can edit the mesh for the best fit or tinting.

STORYLINE: Kaiser Kruel had no use for a vehicle, mechanic, or teammate. He was one of the most ancient of the vampire world. One does not survive long being a fool. He was as crafty as he was powerful. It was him who donated "The most fabulous object of the underworld" as a prize. He had no intention of loosing it. His true goal was to eliminate the most ambitious vampires that threaten his power. He successfully turned the strongest against each other, then sailed to a easy victory to reclaim his treasure, The Heart of Aten. He didn't even break a claw. It was good to be the Ruler.

MeshedUp released this fun Beetle Couch for Level Up a few days ago. It has wheels and hotrod skulls and flames on the side. It comes with poses for guys, girls, and couples. These nice tweed pants with historical style double button fly are from Junbug.  You can pick it up in several different color, and also the matching shirt and best. Today is also the last day you can pick it up on sale at Men's Department. The long stem cigarette is by The SeaHole. The furcoat I love to death and wear often is by Curio Obscura. The bear Claws I reposition for Slink, they are by Glitz. This pose is by Hot Dive and I used it with the chair. And my lovely Trophy I won at a Fox Hunt at the horse and rider sim HHVET. New sim HHVET Victorianaopened recently, if you want to ride horses, go check it out. There often games and activities going on, plus it's a good excuse to break out your fancy Victorian threads. FutureWave: A Vampire's Fate 2065

STORYLINE: He was an A.N.G.E.L., part of an elite force of guardians protecting the Eden, people who were free from all genetic engineering and cyberization. These untainted people were the most valuable things on Earth. His job was an extremely dangerous one. But his motives for doing it were not exactly noble. You see, he was just protecting his food supply. Good old fashioned humans were a rare thing in 2065. A vampire can't live on a cyborg's "transistor fluid," or bite the neck of a disgusting horseshoe crab blueblood freak either. The blood needed to be pure human, not glow-in-the-dark human jellyfish juice.

The awesome folks at Cursed have brought to you a new event, FutureWave with the goal of showing designers' own vision of the future. The results are amazing with many different styles of the future, and even some retro! The sim is a cool cyber city in the sky in black and cyan. Club Gothika mobile unit has moved to the cyber city it's DJs of Goth will be there rocking your moonboots.

STORYLINE: He was on his way to escort an Eden to a new safehouse when a Bounty Hunteress, dressed like a A.N.G.E.L., got the jump on him. It was fun to team up once more on an event, Blogger Powers Activate! -^)

To appreciate this outfit you have to see the moving parts. The Devine wings by Death Row flap. They can be turned on or off as well as adjust the speed. Tempest Dragons by DiGi circle around you and you can tint them whatever color you like. The halo animates too and is part of a cyber angel set by Amelie Barbour that's completely free! Don't miss the also cool cyber typing effect by Amelie Barbour, it's free too.  My mask is from the Blue Falcon gacha. Very cool and only 50L a spin. The jaw attachment is by Death row and comes in several colors: mono, bluesteel, toxic, and steel. The outfit by Blue Falcon Industries is actually system clothing layers, but it's so nicely made and even works on male and female! I like it a lot! The Tinker Taylor boots are by Miamai. There are two base styles, one clean like I wearing above, and one with straps and gold buckles. When you wear these boots you need to make your leg muscle standard size medium or lower. I am wearing the WarmIndustrialWristBracer by STONE Baubles for Men from Final Fantasy Fest once more. It just comes in so handy, and I could tint the metal parts to give it a cyber look. The skull gloves are by A:S:S and come in full length and fingerless. My Galaxy nails are amazing. They're by Beautiful Freaks. I will be wearing them a lot because they look so cool, and work great for men and black gloves. On my arm is group gift armband by Epia. It has hud that changes colors, emblems, and resizes. You can also edit tint. My Cyro Hair is by A&Y Cyber Bunker. It comes with a hud that lets you customize your cords and falls with a huge selection of textures! I am wearing a rigged mesh neck corset by Etchaflesh for men! Looks badass ... Hurry to FutureWave! It closes on Feb 23rd.
