STORYLINE: No one knew exactly how Dr Oliver Conray escaped. It was no surprise they only half-heartedly searched for him, since they were glad his ominous presence was gone. The janitor on the nightshift however claimed to have seen the whole thing, but since she was elderly no one listened to her. She said a ghost lady in fancy clothes came to see the doctor. She could barely hear their conversation, picking up only bits and pieces. The lady was had been a former patient. She apologized for not telling him she was terminally ill. It was the real reason she rejected his marriage proposal. Without another word, she released the doctor from his bonds. Waiting for them outside was a ghostly carriage pulled by a team of spectral horses. A dark hooded driver helped her inside. For a moment the doctor stood there as if he was uncertain what to do, then he climbed in the carriage behind her. He hasn't been seen since.

So many awesome things going on this July, even two events to escape the sun's rays. lol. Genre's Underworld theme, and a Tattered Page's - Good Omens. I loved this book! It's so awesome. I highly recommend you pick it up. Shown above is the dress for prophetess Agnes by Senzafine. It's richly textured in browns and blacks and was perfect for my lady in the Reaper series. From the Underworld theme of this month's Genre, is the awesome Vampire Queen Statue by Entity. Don't walk, run go pick this up! I love it! Adding a spooky charm is the Spirit Flames by Papermoon. They come in several color, 1 li, and hover up and down. Another fun item I picked up is the Eclipse Noir long coat by Vengeful Threads. The hair I am wearing by Tableau Vivant is available at Hair Fair. TV is debuting new hair textures at the Fair, and I love the shine on them. It's so hard to find white hair that doesn't look flat, and the new TV textures definitely do whites well. The hat by Harm's Way can texture change on the hat band, feather, and card. The gacha goodies I used in image are the Luxurious Fur Coat by Curio Obscura, The Tinkerer's Glasses secret prize from Contraption's first music box gacha, the fur stole by Junbug, and the Victorian Gothic rose hat and Crystal cross jewelry set by Devious Minds. If you love DM's jewelry as much as I do, don't miss the badass necklace on sale there at Genre too, it drapes over the back. For both the Ghost Lady and the Doctor, I am using Ikon eyes, and the Fallen Gods Pure Ivory skins from Wayward Carnival. ...It might surprise you guys to know I am playing both characters in this picture. They both really show my aesthetic nicely. I love how this turned out. The Hades and Persephone myth (and it's many forms), is my kind of story.

STORYLINE: Among the Children of the Night, the Black Baron was considered a military genius. But after one too many defeats, his enemies finally discovered his weakness, Lady Edelweiss. The Baron's secret rendezvous with his human mistress did not escape their spies. They were licking theirs fangs with delight. What a shame it was for the mighty Baron to love to such a fragile, easily manipulated creature.

You know I love a good throne, and the Carved Wooden Throne by Dysfunctional Designs is a must have! I love the style on it. You can change the color of the fabric and the wood. It has 7 solo poses for girls, 8 for girls, 12 cuddle poses, and 8 adult poses. The setting was inspired by the Iona Conservatory by Trompe Loeil on sale now at Collaboe88. Also at Collabor88 is the cute corset by Junbug. And another Must Have is this excellent Military Drape Great Coat Set by Mr Poet. It's a steal for how much awesome stuff comes with it! (coat rigged and unrigged, vest, shirt, neckscarf, aiguilette, medals and watch chain) I used the unrigged one here, I like it better unrigged. (btw, Girls can also wear this unrigged version.) Everything is mod, so i adjusted the tints, sizes, placement, and materials. The hair I have on works great with the coat. It's longhair pulled to the front so no pokes on the upturned collar. Surfing with the Alien

Back at the beginning of August, I was invited by Style Kingdom's editor Dougie Boxen to take part in their Vol. 9 Challenge: Heroes and Villains. Entrants were to choose a comic book hero and create two looks: A hero outfit and an off duty look. Can you guess what I picked? lol I thought a long time about who would I portray. Which one spoke to me? Which inspired the most possibilities? Because this is a fashion magazine and a style challenge, I had the idea to develop two completely re-imagined looks using readily available items in SL. My goals in the style were: Elegant, Noble, Futuristic, ... and oh yeah, monotone colors white, grey, and black. After I sent my style shot in, and waited nervously for the results, it turned out I was one of two people who won the challenge! Woot! I feel like I just joined the Major Leagues. After that was the real photoshoot for each outfit, and this was much more time intensive that my normal blog shots because of the demands of the magazine format. It was a really cool challenge and I enjoyed it. Thanks to Dougie for inviting me. The final issue had a switch in concept from Heroes to Everyday SL. I admit, I'm curious about the other hero shots, I want see! But it was fun to go through the issue with a friend, and see if we could recognize any the heroes hiding below their secret identities. lol. I also enjoyed seeing all these badass looking ladies and sexy secretaries. Overall, great issue with beautiful pictures.  Check it out: Style Kingdom vol.9  If you're looking for me, my name got a mention on the cover and you can find my picture on page 8/9.  The pictures I'm showing in this post aren't in the issue, but I thought it would be cool to share my Hero image above, and two of my unretouched captures that I submitted for the challenge.

A few details about the the outfit above. Almost all the designers I chose from were at the FutureWave event for the simple reason that these stores are making original mesh design. I'm delighted that they got a spot in a more mainstream fashion magazine. Scifi original content makers need some loves too. The Helmet is by Blue Falcon Industries. You can switch the face shield between many different textures, I liked the white bright cyber one for my shot here. The system layers bodysuit is also by Blue Falcon Industries and comes with both white and black versions. The arm warmers by Razor come with a default hands fit and a Slink. (love that!) The texture hud will let you switch around the colors and textures. Because I really don't like sharp end between a system layer bodysuit and the neck, I added the Cyber Neck Corset by FK!Designs. Over the top is the Konvert Turtle Neck by VRSION. The boots are by A&Y Cyber Bunker. They used to be only for the girls, but no more! Yes you can get these in rigged fitted mesh for the guys! The hud that comes with it will let you play and switch around the colors too. Very nice. On the hands, I used the latex glove applier by Adam n Eve,

The full outfit for the image above you can see in the  Style Kingdom vol.9 issue. The Unsung top, vest, sleeves all work together seamlessly and have a very cool unique look. The pants by VRSION came included with the Konvert Male Boots. The folds between Unsung and VRSION work really nicely together. The Adventure Boots by Rab Labs are fitted mesh, so its simple matter to edit the shape and get the boots to fit over the pants. Love that!  The animating Citadel Eyes are By Snow. They echo wonderfully with the helmet. All the colors are changeable too.  The Nathan 14 skin texture is one of my favorites by Tableau Vivant. It has a wonderful silvery shimmer to it. truly unique. The fun hoverboard is a raffle prize from BareRose. You wear it and it will trigger a hovering animation. It's still available in the raffle if you want to camp out and win it.

Butterflies of Spring

Daisies and butterflies will bring a cute romantic look to your Spring. STORYLINE: Alice returns to Wonderland and is surprised when the bunnies award her a staff created in her honor.

Hurry Hurry! The Alice in RMK is ending March 31st!  Before it ends, be sure to check out some of the wonderful items for sale in the Alice Market. Pictured above is the gorgeous Alice Orthodoxy complete outfit from RokumeikaN. It's the rare prize in the hairbow gacha. Another beautiful creation is the Alice Staff by Down Down Down. STORYLINE: Alice asked the bunnies what was new in Wonderland since she was there last. "The King of Hearts!" they both exclaimed. "A king?," Alice wondered out loud. Since when was there a king in Wonderland. Did something happen to the Queen?

Check out this amazing Bunny Hunt prize! The Queen of Hearts glasses is another must have creation from AIR! I love the details and windy ribbons.  I matched it to the the windblown Rain hair from Exile available in the The Arcade gacha. The shirt and vest are a cool creation from gO! I picked up at a new event, The Countdown Room. There were many great things there, I looked forward to the next round. To find the Prince Vampire top, hop over the gO! mainstore and pick out one of the many styles there. To go with the shirt, I used the Boot Pants by Tableau Vivant, and the skin is T.V.'s the Red Valentine group gift. Because the King of Hearts needed more red, I turned up the volume with the Dusk makeup by [ni.Ju], and added a little more with the [ni.Ju]'s Hime blush. Alice in RMK: March Hare

STORYLINE: When in Wonderland, if you want to find the March Hare, go look in the garden. She's often hovering near the garden party, sipping tea and nibbling on delicious cupcakes.

I'll be honest with you, I feel awkward when blogging things for the girls, but this Little Lolita has really grown on me. She's adorable. When I dropped by LCKY to pick up their nice Femboy Hunt hair, (see image below), I spotted this hair. During the open of Final Fantasy Fest there was an anime neko girl wearing it, and it looked amazing. She drew a crowd of guys around her who just stood there like idiots, watching her do adorable things like beat her friend with a cartoon hammer that made a cute Boing noise with each hit. lol. So naturally I thought this hair would be perfect for Little Lolita as the March Hare at RMK Gothic. Little Lolita's outfit and glasses are both from the Alice Market at RMK. This is an area of the sim that has store booths with items in the theme of Alice in Wonderland for sell. The dress by Ambrosia comes in black dot and pink, mint, or blue, and a Limited Edition RMK Gothic white and blue Alice version. These fun wonderland heart glasses "Doubt" by AIR are partial mesh, and you can edit them like I did to give it a slight tint. For those new to Bunny Hunting, let me explain how it works.... Imagine a Lucky Board. Now imagine that lucky board hops and could be anywhere on a sim. Now imagine that hopping lucky board is always stuck in wildcard mode, meaning the fastest person to touch it first wins the prize. Now imagine that wildcard hopping luck board randomly drops a ticket you can exchange at a store and that's what you need to touch quickly. Are you with me so far? Good. Now picture that lucky board as a tiny grey bunny. You got it? Good!!! You just graduated from Bunny Hunt 101!

There are 22 tickets and the 23rd ticket is a Golden Ticket that works at any store! All tickets can only be used once, and they are transferrable. You can make trades in the trading area or at the RMK Gothic SIM group. Now let me tell you a little about what we are wearing in the picture above. First, I am showing the delightful new Arcade gacha from Tableau Vivant. It's a hairstyle that comes with a plushie that sits on your head and one hud with 6 colors. The hair comes combed style (like I am wearing above), and messy like you just woke up. The male hair fit is the Rare. I used the combination of pastel colors, with Bunny the Lop, and the Male hair fit. The coat I am wearing is by Junbug, yes Junbug made some historical clothing for the men! I picked up both the Heathcliff coat and also the entire outfit that goes with it (shirt, boots, and pant) at Seraphim Social's Pride and Prejudice. The coat comes in black, green, red, grey or blue. I tinted the buttons from gold to red. Keeping with RMK style, I am wearing the Prince of Phantom collar, neck frill, and vest by RokumeikaN. My pocket watch is by House of Rain. My cool monocle with the hanging string is by AIR.

Fulli is showing you three wonderful things from the Alice in RMK Gothic event. Her hat, collar, garter, and dress are all by Ambrosia and it's the Bunny Hunt prize! Her awesomely cool hair is by Ayashi. Fulli went crazy for it and bought the fatpack that comes with many hair colors, crown can be changed to silver or gold, and you can pick different colors for the heart and ribbons. The Ayashi Bunny Hunt prize is a black with red stripe version of this hair with a gold crown. I love the Burton-ish look of it. Nice. You can find this cool checkered clutch by NuDoLu in the Alice Market area. It comes in several different colors, and 2 hold animations.

Final Fantasy Fest: Vincent Valentine

Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII, a special delivery for Valentine's Day. This was an awesome character to put together. Vincent is a badass goth in Final Fantasy, and his limit breaks are classic horror monsters. (And between you and me, I consider him a vampire too, albeit a Final Fantasy type twist to the genre. Vincent Valentine "is undead, undead, undead....") You have until Feb 21st to head down to Final Fantasy Fest and scoop up the awesome.

This awesome Vincent hair by Ayashi is on sale at the Final Fantasy Fest. You don't have to wear it black, you can wear any other color. The skin is the new release Sean by Tableau Vivant in the palest skintone with dark brow. Isn't the detail around the eyes awesome? Like black thorny tears, he's wearing the Guyliners by Lovely Disarray. Aii has this fun Vincent cloak with flexi tattered ends that swirl and move in a spooky cool way. The eyes are another soulful set from S0NG. I edit the texture to adjust the iris size. The backpack is a new freebie from the BareRose raffle. It's a coffin with a vampire creature trying to get out (which I think is cool symbolism for Vincent, monster in the coffin and he carries a heavy weight.). I totally camped hard for that. lol I added a tint to the wing to match his cloak and headband. The male corset from Schadenfreude I have shown before but this time with a spider texture. There are 3 different textures on the hud for it. The belt and shirt are by Lapointe and Bastchild. The belt is prim and scales on the x,y,z and comes with hud to change colors. The shirt is system and I used it here to work with the cloak. The pants, bracers and shin guards are by The Forge. Crazy person that I am, I wore on top of the Forge boots the goth classic winklepickers by Dare Designs. The system gloves are by Adan N Eve, mesh gloves by Ascent, and the armored glove by Druidamus. My gun of choice returns to the blog, the D-Z Guns Mini Redemptions Dual Chain Gun Revolvers. Love these babies.

Gothmas: Vampire Ballet

STORYLINE: Being creatures with a love for beauty, art, and a good show, the Vampire Ballet Company has been performing their own sinister version of the Nutcracker for almost as long as the original's debut.

No part of Christmas is immune from the dark touch of Gothmas. This image was inspired by the Dark Water Designs outfits for male and female at Gothmas by Gaslight. I'm wearing the Tokyo Dreams jacket above, it also comes with pants. The girl's Ballerina outfit comes with nice mesh point shoes that totally work on the guys too, just scale it up. But I couldn't leave it there, I had to go more extreme with ballet boot thigh highs by ROSAL. Yes, those are rigged for female, but you know what? I had no problem wearing them! Just wear XL and scale down the leg muscle a tad, then hide the heel, and you got yourself a prima ballerina vampire. lol The fur hat is from Milk Motion at the current round of Collabor88 which I edited to make taller. This gorgeous winged monocle by AIR currently on sale at RMK Frost Fair.  It comes in either gold or silver, and includes left and right versions. The hair is Beck by Tableau Vivant and it works perfect for my vampire dancer. The skin is also by  Tableau Vivant, the horror series for Lucis, and the price is not too bad either!

RMK Frost Fair: The Queen's Arrival

STORYLINE: Having heard many good things about the RMK Frost Fair, the Queen of Hearts herself took a sleigh ride down to the river to partake in the celebration. Her Majesty must have been feeling rather jovial when she opted to wear a whimsical Christmas Mint Cake hat and Chocolate Peppermint parasol.

The Queen of Hearts is back and wearing a beautiful warm dress coat by Junbug. Check out that tiny waist! The dress coat comes in either blue, red, or green on sale at RMK Frost Fair. The Queen's sleigh is on sale at We <3 Role Play. It has 20 poses for male, female, and couples, comes with milk and cookies, and has only 3 land impact!
