Club Scorpion: Come for the poison, Stay for the sting

STORYLINE: The newest member of the police force was young enough to still believe it was possible to take out of the trash of Insilco. He quietly pondered the meaning of the blinking neon sign above his latest undercover assignment: “Club Scorpion, come for the poison, stay for the sting.” He squirmed. The tight shorts he wore had ventured into unwelcome places. “Detective Hotpants,” his fellow investigators joked. “Its perfect. No way will Kujo pass up on that.” …Kujo, he sighed to himself. There was no way the Cyber Mafia leader was not involved in the current explosion of missing persons. Every single one of the missing had been to this club, and every single one of them had been invited to Kujo’s not-so-secret pleasure room. He had a bad feeling about this, but crime doesn’t solve itself. So he adjusted his outfit one more time, took a deep breath, and walked inside.

ROMP is back this May, and among the many goodies are some cyber gems. The bed by Violetility comes in several colors choices to match your scifi lair. The fun Scorpion chair is by Since 1975. I thought a few of the items from this round lend themselves well for some genderbending. The collar and blindfold are by Bliensen + MaiTai, the IHeartF&Co hotpants, and Dirty Princess boots all work great for femboy style. ROMP has returned during the month of love to spice up your SecondLife. Shown above is super cool autoshop bike lift stool and motorcycle lift bench by Dictatorship. The lifts come with poses for all combinations of couples, and will auto attach props. Also shown from ROMP is the nice Lincoln harness by Salt and Pepper. The Fall of Prince Ravenna, 2

STORYLINE: Suddenly, a fiery serpentine dragon roared down the great hall of Castle Ravenna. The chains wrapped around its body glowed and dripped to the stone floor like lava from a volcano. Its bellows shook the stained glass windows. "Fool! I cannot be bound! My magic does not create beauty where none exists. It brings inner beauty to the surface for all to see." It's sharp claws encased Prince Ravenna. "You can not force me to give upon you the same blessing as the child Snow White." It's grip tightened, "but if that's what you want, that's what you shall have." A fiery glow swirled around them. When it was done the dragon's symbol was branded to the Prince's flesh and the beauty of his youth restored. "Now be careful," it said with a smirk, "least your wicked deeds ruin your pretty face."

STORYLINE: From the shadows of the forest, emerged a dark figure with ravens swirling and squawking around him. Snow White dropped her armfuls of flowers to stare at the strange intruder. She took a step backward for hidden under his hood was face both beautiful and repulsive. Noticing her gaze, he spoke sorrowfully, "I was not always as I appear now. The same witch who blessed you with beauty, cursed me to this hideousness. Only you can save me." His rotten hand stretched towards her and presented a ripe delicious looking apple. "Here, eat this." 

I loved so much coming up with a twist to the evil queen in Enchantment's first Snow White round, so I'm polishing it up and bringing it back for 2017! Enchantment runs two weeks, with a hunt, live performances, and lots of awesome goodies all in the theme of Snow White. Don't miss it!

STORYLINE: Metal scraped against the cold stone tiles. The sound echoed in the atrium of the Blessed Virgin's Home for the Mentally Insane. The crazed chatter of the denizens, each locked carefully in their padded rooms, suddenly fell silent. It was so quiet, the soft pad of bare feet sauntering down the hall was audible. One daring old man peeked through a small crack in the doorframe. "Dr. Oliver Conray? he gasped. The scantly clad figure outside froze. "Oh, thank god it is you," the old man wiped the sweat from his brow. "I was worried something bad had happened to you. Say, uh...," he leaned in close to the door and whispered, "How about you help your old card playing buddy out? Let me outta here?" He smiled hopefully. The mute figure of Dr. Oliver Conray slowly turned towards the old man. His face was pale as death, eyes a souless inky black. The old man recoiled in horror. Dr. Oliver Conray raised his scythe high in the air, and with a mighty swish, the old man dropped dead to the ground.

Have you stocked up with Halloween ROMP goodies? Today is the last day. Shown above are two of my favorites from this round, the Naberius collar by the talented & twisted Contraption/CerebusXing team, and this badass harness and skirt by Salt & Pepper. It comes in fits for several female mesh bodies but no males. I used Slink female mesh body on the male base shape to model this outfit, and wore the male Mort Vivant skin for slink by TableauVivant. Works great in the back, but sadly Slink female does not have a flat chest option for the front. (The male and female Slink bodies are being updated right now. I put in a request for a flat chest option.) (Another option for genderbendering your way into clothing not originally made for men is to use the Maitreya mesh body with the Boi chest mod you can find in the marketplace.) Also shown is this amazing Asylum build by Madpeas. It is HUGE. It needs a full or half sim to rez.  The Scythe with inlay is by Swagga from a past Totally Top Shelf. The Edward hair by Tableau Vivant is on sale at The Men's Department. It includes a fit for default head and TMP head.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: War

STORYLINE:  "Carmine Zuigiber turned and stared at the bodies surrounding her as if she hadn't the faintest idea of how they came to be there. She licked a spatter of blood -- someone else's -- from the back of her hand with a scarlet, cat-like tongue. Then she smiled. And she walked out of the bar, her heels clicking on the tiles like the tapping of distant hammers. War goes where the action is. Or more accurately, the action finds her. She's fine with that.. She gets bored after a few hundred years or so, so it pays to keep things interesting." - Good Omen on Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse - WAR

*sings* War! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing! Say it again.... Oh yes, I couldn't let the month slip by without serving up this saucy angel of the Apocalypse. She's one of the many brilliant characters in the comedic novel, Good Omens by the Neil Gaiman, and the late Terry Pratchett. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it. It's a great summer read. And it's also the theme of this month's A Tattered Page. Better hurry like it's the end of the world, today is the last day. Hop over here for a nice shopping guide. Shown above are the War Shoes by Pale Empress. These heels are awesome with chains, skull, and bullets. The exclusive red is at an awesome price at 95L! The leggings by Foxes are also a great deal only available today in Fifty Linden Friday. From this summer's past round of ROMP is the Commander's Jacket and cap by AP.PAREL. Sadly right now it doesn't appear to be in the mainstore location, hopefully it will in the near future. It has an great latex effect in materials. This jacket is made for the guys, but War had no problem wearing it. From Tableau Vivant is the Hortensia hair on sale at the new Gladiator round of Secret Affair. The sexy expression for War is thanks for the cool Julia mesh-head gacha by Genesis Labs over at Kustom9. It comes with the mesh head, hud for eyebrow color change, eyes, ears, teeth, applier for slink hands and feet (but not the slink body), Maitreya body, shape, and default skin. The makeup can also be won on the gacha. The bullet garter is actually a repurposed Gunslinger Armband by Sax Shephard Designs. The FATEplay Willow's bullet belt is on two places, across the hips and chest. To get the bullet sash, I rezzed it as a prop. A year ago, Schism Industries closed it's store and offered all it's anime-inspired prim based weapons for free. As far as I know, it's no longer available inworld. The Raven Motorcycle one of the excellent creations by Sau motorcycles. It has all the features of the Sau motorcycles, an original mesh design, and the frame and body can texture change.
