Fantasy Faire: The Sea Dragon's Adventure

STORYLINE: Kaiju, a young Sea Dragon, had been enjoying gem-combing on the ocean floor with his pet Sharkpoo when he heard the laughter of 3 women. He had never seen a mermaid before, and now there were three! He forgot all about collecting gems. The girls were so cute and excitedly talking about a great gathering of mythical creatures. He stalked them, always keeping himself well hidden. But once they were in open ocean, he couldn't hide anymore. They screamed. He screamed. And after many awkward apologies and reassurances he didn’t intend to eat them, he was invited to swim along on the journey to the Fantasy Faire! He was so excited. He looked up at the rippling surface of the water, and wondered what amazing sights he would see.

I have a confession to make, of all the years I have created characters for the faire, this guy is my favorite. He just looks amazing.  I took so many pictures, it was hard to pick only one. lol (Bonus image is below). His creation was inspired by the many fun and beautiful merfolk items at the Faire. For this post I would like to highlight, a New-to-me-store, Tonkatihead. The store is on the Isles of Aquarius sim, and is full of cute and adorable creations that really give that fun festival feel like  whale shark balloons, waving sharks, ... it was just so much fun. And its not animesh, so the land impact is pretty low.  The dragon in Seadragon is proviced by the Ambix Geode Dragon Horns, Animesh tail, and dragon bento wings. They come with a hud to change out the textures. For the tail and Wings, just right click them to bring up a menu to change the animations or for static poses. For the body tattoos, I layered the fun Forest Fantasy Store's Jellyfish with Soul's Agamidae. The colorful mohawk is by Ni.Ju and comes with a texture hud for a wide range of colors. The bang can be repositioned, and its Mod. The hair bases are also mod and come in a variety of styles. The gemstone earrings are by Vortech. I so wanted to get a great image of the Aii Riptide mertail, but it was tricky to show so many things at once. You see it in the bonus image below. The tail comes with a lot of textures, has animations built in and if you right click it, you can pick animations, and a great bonus the alternative  hip style. Its wonderful and has fits for all the major mesh bodies, male and female. This is the Best Male Mertail to date!

Quick as a Bunny Takeout of the Congo

STORYLINE: There was nothing quite like racing down the thick muddy waters of the Congo with his pet fennec by his side. Schools of wading waterfowl would squawk loudly their displeasure as his steamplane roared past. Together with an old mate, they formed a takeout restaurant. The food turned out to be a hit with the locals and tourists. And he relished every chance he got to race along the waterways delivering steaming spicy foods.

This post was inspired by the SL12B party held by Linden Labs at the Wilderness sim. It's a multi-sim jungle with lots of fun things to do. For my explorations on the Dark Continent, I'm wearing the new FATEwear Belo camouflage texture shorts. They some with full length pants too. I'm using an unusual bonus color that's in scripted fatpack. The Phillips hoodie is also using a bonus color from it's fatpack. I like the two tone fades. You can wear the hoodie up or down. I'm using several designers for my Steampunk Safari style. The Steampunk boots, belt, and bag by Death Row are in the current round of The Arcade. It's an entire gacha of clothing and accessories for men! Many good pieces can be won.  From Swagga is the awesome animated Flutter robo-dragon pet. He's holding the picnic basket from the Linden Premium member gifts for the beach. The steampunk Bunny Mask is also by Swagga. It was a free gift for the Seraphim's birthday party. The retro mic earphones are by Remarkable Oblivion, as well as the Messenger bag. The adorable Fennec is by Half Deer and it's a gacha at Kustom 9. I love fennecs. They come in various poses, and the one here in the image is the animating rare that walks along with you. The bracelets and rings are by Mandala and they come with a texture change hud.  I used these awesome old school prim socks by Rosem to poke out from the boots. I serious need more things like this. And another thing I need is collar like thing to work on the TheMeshProject body. The hack I used actually a free headband by Modern Elegance I turned into a collar. It has a "don't look under the collar and see my vampire bite" sort of feel and I like it. lol And the last gem to finish off my Steam Safari style is the fun BareRose Steam Hummingbird plane. You wear it and it appears like you are flying around. Love it. It can be won in the raffle by camping out at BareRose.

RMK Halloween: Candy Witch

STORYLINE: At last, Halloween is almost here! The Candy Witch cuddled down on her favorite batty chair, next to her hand painted pumpkins, and began to flip through her beloved recipe book. She giggled with excitement and slurped on her special spider-blood candy-corn popsicle concoction. She had the most delicious halloween candy recipes. They were famous all over the Ghost-side of RMK! 

Lots and lots of goodies in these images from RMK Halloween. The pumpkins are mesh by Half-deer and adorable. You can scale then up or down how you like. The bat chair and tree shadow are by La petite fleur. The chair comes with 3 poses. The cute long shirt is by Rotten Toe and comes grey, orange, and purple. The broom against the wall is a nod to World's End Garden. The fun witch hat by Down Down Down you can touch and change the main colors, ribbons, and gemstone colors. STORYLINE: Suddenly she heard a clap of thunder. She threw on a comfy sweater and skirt and stepped outside to admire the beauty of the Ghost Rain. The spirits were already busy catching it, and trying to make a new recipe that could best hers from last Halloween. But it didn't really matter who won as the discoverer of the best new sweet treat, she figured everyone would win since discoveries were shared and enjoyed by all. Halloween was sweet indeed.

The hamsters suddenly stopped playing in the snow and looked up. The Northern Lights had appeared! It was a magical moment of awe for the little creatures.
