2065: Carpe Noctem 1

STORYLINE: After successfully escaping the Mars colony, the Cursed A.N.G.E.L. left the protection business and reinvented himself as a rock star named Rab8. He wrote a "romantic" song about a pissed off violent out-of-work vampire who was starving because of the lack of non-genetically hybridized humans until one day a beautiful Eden quenched his thirst. He figured he could seduce some Edens out of hiding with his music. His song climbed to number 47 on the Earth Music Charts. More people came to see him perform. And after he smelled a near-Eden among the crowd, he thought he was well on his way to securing a new blood supplier when disaster struck....   (NOTE: If you guys remember my posts on FutureWave, this storyline picks up where that left off.)

It's Easter Time! Spring! Pollen! Bunnies! And those of you who know me, know I have a thing for bunnies. When I saw the cool new mecha bunny headphones Rab8 by Remarkable Oblivion, my little cotton tail was wagging. They come in either blue or white and you find them on sale at FaMESHed this month. Also going on right now is the Rock Attitude Fashion Fair. I got at the fair this great mesh Les Paul style guitar from NS. It comes with several versions for wearing on your back or holding, but those attachments are really tiny guitars and you can not mod them. I am using the larger one above that contains a pose. For this post I used instead an excellent pose by momomuller. Looking a bit like a Kiss style Kabuki Bunny, I am wearing the Dead of Night creature makeup by Lovely Disarray and kick ass high platform boots Onslaught by Razor. The chain necklace is a group gift from Death Row. On Berry's Dance meme, the Godfather Bat Winter Jefferson danced in this coat and I was drooling so hard. As soon as I knew where to get it, I made a beeline to FashionNatic and scooped it up. It comes with the color hud for many color combinations on straps and fabric, and zipper on or off. Excellent. I love the Simmon's models. The tongue and piercings are a past Rebel Playground hunt gift from Bubblez. The pants are my favorites from Ronsem. They are the best pants I have for boots. From the FutureWave posts for this character, I'm wearing once more the Argrace Arata hair with Action hairbase and Vrsion gloves. The By Snow eyes were at FutureWave also. They are really amazing with beautiful cyber textures that animation and you can change the colors of all the different elements ina hud. STORYLINE: A.N.G.E.L leadership was unhappy with him over the incident at the Seven Seas. For punishment, he was given a shitty assignment on Mars. The bastards knew he would starve there, but they didn't care. There are no humans on Mars. Just hybrids and androids. When he complained, they shrugged and said, "Better complete your mission quickly then."

More awesome from FutureWave! My outfit is by Vrsion, and it has a unique feel to it, both high fashion and scifi at the same time.  My jackpack and ray gun are by Gallactic.  You can get them both in many different colors at FutureWave. The styling is so nice. Love it. My boots are Death Row's stompers in Coal. I'm wearing the Kevin skin by Tableau Vivant currently on sale at Collabor88 for only 388L. For now this is tone 5 skin, but if it proves to be popular, the Kevin line will expand. Can you believe this hair by Argrace is mesh?  It's gorgeous. Love it. The BioMechAnoid shades I am wearing are so crazy, giant bug eyes, but I love it.

NEWS FLASH! You see those lights reflected in my shades?  Yep, they're real and it that appears to be a new feature in the latest SecondLife viewer. Sun, environmental and projector lights all reflect. You can see Loki Elliot's materials light reflection test at Drax Radio Hour.

STORYLINE: A foul smelling hybrid smirked at him, and tossed at him a keycard. "Enjoy your new home, Angel." He tossed it back, "Don't need it. Won't be here for long." The miner laughed, and placed the keycard on the desk. "I'll put this right here, incase you change your mind."  A creepy grin curled up on his lips. He laughed again and left him there, wondering what the miner knew that he didn't.

This is a wonderfully made little mesh Scifi home for you. It has a surprisingly cozy inside with warm woods and big windows. It has 39 land impact, 29 primsand with materials.  Go check out the demo for yourself.  FutureWave ends Feb 23rd.  p.s. To shoot this house at Insilco Mars I actually wore it. lol.  tricky blogger, tricky. lol

Final Fantasy Fest: Sephiroth and Kadaj

Message from Fulli: The Final Fantasy Festival is going on! When I heard about an event of my beloved Final Fantasy I had to make a post about it! You can find everything there, from Moogles to Chocobos and more! Sephiroth has always been one of my favorite characters from Final Fantasy 7, and the movie Final Fantasy Advents Children. Isn't he badass!! And with Dev showing up as Seph's brother Kadaj, just makes the picture more awesome. I recommend this event highly to every Final Fantasy fan out there. Go on and check it out it goes till the 21 February.

So there you go, Fulli is a huge FF fan and she is very excited! The Final Fantasy Fest has 65 stores full of awesome. While walking around the sims in character, I totally felt like I was cosplaying at an anime convention. lol. Too fun. Sephiroth is wearing the new Sean skin by Tableau Vivant. This is the palest skintone and worn without the eyebrow. You can buy a tattoo layer eyebrow and tint it the color you like. I used grey here to great effect. (So awesome. I have wanted white/grey brows on a T.V. skin for as long as I have been wearing them.) And there's more good news, you can now get Slink hand and foot appliers for T.V. skinlines Sean, David, and Lucis. Woot! To make that creepy evil angel alien type look for both Sephiroth and Kadai I added eyeliner from CL9, and lip gloss from Random Matters. They are wearing awesome Clan of the Jenova eyes from Lovely Disarray which you can pick up at the Festival. The guys are both wearing Fatewear Dextor gloves, and hairstyles from Ayashi. Kadai is wearing mesh hair Rioto, and the Sephiroth hair is prim and flexi. A little birdie told me there could be a new mesh version of the Sephiroth hair in the future. (Cross your fingers gang!) Sephiroth's jacket, armor, collar, and wing are by  BareRose and come with materials. The leather pants are system by Lapointe & Bastchild, and suede boots by lassitude & ennui. The Masamune by Joxeluis Magic is fully scripted. I edited the hilt for better looking grip. Kadai is wearing a very cool outfit El Kaadaj by Goth1c0 available at the Fest. I've been running around in it a lot, it's just looks so cool. I added shoulder armor from the White Edge outfit by BareRose, harness by G&S.  The boots are by Gos. The prop katana by F*ckingNinjias I edited to add second blade. Kadaji is wearing the Morphine Sephiroth skin. There are 4 skins by Morphine at FFF: Genesis, Cloud, Sephiroth, and Vincent. A nice shape comes with it, but since it's no mod I created my own shapes.  ...Ok, run go check out the Fest! Lots and lots of great things are there.

Hackers of Mars

STORYLINE: The Mars colony was a dreadful place. Corporations ruled over all aspects of the colony. Their sole purpose was to create more profit. They even genetically breed their own slave labor force. 

At The Men's Department is a fantastic deal from Tableau Vivant. Remember the cool wild colored Damon skins I have shown in the past? Well now you a can get a normal skin color version of the Damon skin for only 300L. And introducing for the first time, Tableau Vivant is adding hair layers for facial scruff, chest hair, and happy trail. I'm wearing the happy trail (see image below). Love it. Having an option like this is great, it adds just a little more pop to a skin. Echoing the trail line, is a cool war paint tattoo from Lovely Disarray. The Tableau Vivant Damon hair is also at Men's Department. I paired it up with my favorite scalp texture by Action. The deep green eyes are a Christmas gift from Poetic Colors.

STORYLINE: Hybrids were not considered people. They were property patented by their corporate makers. A Human/Martian hybrid named Static Charge dabbled in hack craft when he was not busy tolling in the mines. 

From my bag of tricks, is the NMJ BodyOil tattoo you see me using here to create a sweaty look. The goggles, boots, and rings are part of Death Row's Post Apocalyptic Nerd series and have fun power cord and floppy disk elements. You can pick them up at FaMESHed. The Male Leather sleeves, also by Death Row, fit great but if you wear Slink you will have some poke on the hand. The Control Alt Delete rings are also made for the default hand, I tried to make work on the Slink hand as best as I could. All Death Row are wonderfully made, textured, and shockingly affordable for original content! Go load up on the coolness! <3 DRD

STORYLINE: He discovered a hole in the corporate main server's security and made a break for it.

You guys know I am crazy for boots right? The new Death Row Post Apocalyptic Nerd stomp boots are easily one of my favorites. They're just so fun to look at with details like power cords and ancient floppy disks. For going out into harsh Mars atmosphere, I used the Death Row Tubes mask. It's one of the best mesh gasmasks you can get and I love how this looks on the back of the neck too. (see picture below) Don't be scared off by Death Row's "female" label on this armor either. It's not rigged mesh. You can edit on xyz to scale it up for a good fit. The set comes with shoulder, upper arm, lower arm and hand. The hand piece that comes with it will not fit well with Slink hands. Following Skell's tip, I picked up these great slim fit leather pants for men by Immerschoen Male, and he also send me to check out pose guru momomuller / [3M]. This one of 3M's poses above.

STORYLINE: He successfully snuck onto an automated transport ship that would take him to the alleged, "Sanctuary in the Sky."

If you have never been to the sims of Insilico, you are in for a treat. This is one of my favorite places in SL ever since I first saw it. The Mars section has expanded recently to 2 sim with a colony city, and seems to be growing. Can't wait to see what develops.

For Scifi and CyberPunk fans, get ready for FutureWave. It's brought to you by the Cursed team (World Goth Fair, Clockwork Spiral, Gothmas by Gaslight) and it starts in February. Should be awesome!
