Advent Mania 2016!

Happy Holidays gang! I love advents in SecondLife! its so much fun to run around, meet people, and pick up gifts. Many of my favorites have returned this year, as well as a few new ones. My list below focuses on decor, humor, and advents with things for guys. As more advents become known, I will update this list.

Thanks to all the designers and organizers who make the season brighter!

1) MadPea’s Christmas Calendar  Dec 1-25 : male, female, decor (1000L for hud) 

MadPea has teamed up with 24 fantastic designers (and their own little Santa Madpea) to offer exclusive original mesh Christmas presents for you each day. The Madpea Christmas Calendar is 1000L. You can wear it as Hud, or decorate your home with it to use like a real advent. Nice! Gifts are decor or items for men and women. Nice quailty loot!

2) !gO!  Dec 1-24 : male, female : daily only (50L for group join)
!gO! has a lovely display each year. There are presents for both girls and guys. Group membership required, costs 50L to join.

3) Sway's  Dec 1-24 : decor : daily, past days for sale (free for all)
Touch the sign to gain your hud. Next hunt the store and surroundings for baubles to turn on each day of the calendar in the hud. Then come back each day to touch that day's gift. Daily only. Free to play.

4) 7 Deadly s{K}in  Dec 1-31 : male, female : daily only (75L for group join)

7 Deadly sKins brings about the advent and this year are two calendars. The guy's advent is located in the mens section, and women's advent in female section. Group membership is needed. It cost 75L to join. Daily only. Note: When you touch the gift if will charge you 1L but will immediately refund you.

5) Akaesha Dec 1-24 : adult decor : daily only (free for all)

Try your luck. Hunt for each day's santa's gift sack, touch it to see if you are Naughty or Nice. Win store gift cards and adult gifts.

6) CIRCA Dec 1-25 : decor : daily only (group join free, prizes are 1-75L each)
A group join is required for the daily decor gifts. There is no fee to join. Gifts range from 1 to 75L.

7) United InshCon Dec 1-24 : decor : daily only (free for all)

24 gift boxes, one per day, are at the Christmas Village Table at the United InshCon sim. 

8) Abranimations  Dec 1-24 :  unisex, decor : daily only (free for all, group join required)

Join the group and touch each day's box for a fun gift from Abranimations. Wildly popular gifts each year have included fun things like penguin avatars with a frozen fish to slap people with. lol

Alice Project Dec 1-25 :  hair : daily (free for all, VIP member bonus, past hair can be bought 50L)
Alice Project Christmas hair is back. Each day you can get a free hair, and VIP members get an extra hair. After that day has past, you can buy any hairs you missed for 50L

KittyCats Dec 1-24 :  male, female, unsex, decor : daily and past (free for all)
Collection of designers around SL offer a free gift for each day. Missed day can be picked up no charge.

The Pleasure Palace: The Cowboy Stable

STORYLINE: "A cowboy, is this really necessary?" The Eavesdropping Maid nodded eagerly, her dark eyes sparkling with mischief. He sighed heavily and changed into the costume of the Stable Boys.  How did he end up here? Once the drugs had worn off, it was not too difficult for the Cursed A.N.G.E.L to break loose from his bonds in the Eden Garden. He offered to release the girl too if she would do him two favors: one show him where Kujo was, and two feed him. She was not an Eden but as luck would have it, she was Near-Eden. He didn’t know if was an elaborate plan, or just dumb luck, but he was not going pass up a gift neck. She told him the Pleasure Palace was the Underworld Boss' private playground. It was full of mini-theme sections. The Cowboy Stable was the closest to the Mansion. So his plan was to sneak inside, and confront the double-crossing jerk Kujo.

Can you believe FATEplay is one year old? To celebrate, FATEplay has released a fantastic new collection for girls and guys in a Fallout theme. Above I am showing the bullet belt and very cool tattered bottom Duster from the Dusty set. The bullet belt is rigged, so it works best with the pants made for it, but I got away with this more revealing version. lol The underwear is by Ap.Parel and on sale at ROMP. The chaps by ZED are gorgeous. You can wear them with the jeans option or be daring and go without! The Gunslinger hat is by Remarkable Oblivion is stylized cowboy hat with a Fleur De Lis on the front. It's on sale at The Men's Department. It comes in two color choices, and includes materials or no materials options as well as the xyz resize script. The bandit muffler from Contraption was at The Dark Style Fair, and sadly it appears to no longer be available. The Showdown cowboy boots are by Deco. They come with two options: full boot and 1/2 shown. The half shown is REALLY handy and makes the boots fit the chaps perfectly. The arm warmers are by Razor and they work with Slink hands or default hands. They come a with hud to mix and match styles. On the hip is the Kuro prop whip on sale at ROMP, and in the hand is the flexi-mesh prop whip given out the Dysfunctional Designs Lotus Tree. My grinning Pony friend here has a secret. He can give you a nice time. lol He comes with texture change options for the horse, harness, and rocker. In the background, is the "real" palomino and he's not too sure about that toy horse who's up to no good. lol He's by United InshCon. lol He also has color change options for body, mane and tail. The stable I picked up over a year ago on 35L weekend. It has poses for thje haystack on the 2nd floor. Reminder: The end of the month is coming soon. If you haven't picked the Tableau Vivant Echo skin yet, hurry hurry. It includes the appliers on tone 5!

STORYLINE: I could feel it, this day was different. Change was coming. My senses strained to detect it. Perhaps the change was not in the wind after all, but in the demeanor of She Who Watches Me in my sleep.

Of course I had to show you guys the Prince Phillip top that is available as an Enchantment stamp prize! Today is the last day for Enchantment, so be sure to scoop of the goodies while you can. I have something else special to show you. You guys know I am crazy for boots by now, right? I love me some tall mesh rigged boots, can't get enough. Many good things to talk about in this image. First is this is a truly beautiful male mesh Ball Joint Doll avatar by Coco. The figure uses default avatar's rigging, so you can edit the shape to suit your taste, or try to make it fit in normal mesh clothes like I did above. The rigged boots by Lassitude and Ennui are a perfect match for DollCoco's size. The elegant boot pant from Tableau Vivant also works perfectly. The rich cool red quilted tunic by the Muses is on sale over at We Love Role Play right now. For the waist, I combined two belts: the mesh kilt belt by A:S:S and one of my favorite belts by Sey. I get many compliments on this demon blindfold by BjD, it's just so badass. It comes with a color hud. The wings are by Illusions, they can texture change and come with spread wings too. Double the fun with Magika using two hairs to create romantic elfish style. The katana sword has materials and is free from BareRose. The surreal Donkeys are from Medieval Fantasy Hunt at United InshCon. And get this, they actually poop gold. That's right, you will be wanting to feed these babies a lot of hay, a better quality hay gives you better bullions. *makes jokes* lol  The skybox is in the Midsummer's Night Dream theme with paintings of the play.
