Revenge of the Red Leaf Tribe

STORYLINE: The last of the Red Leaf Tribe, the shy Devva Vauke, learned quickly what a cruel place the galaxy was. Now a castaway on his own homeworld, he could choose to give up and die with his people, or could he choose to fight and live on by any means necessary. Loneliness changes a man. Gone was the soft tender glow in his eyes. It was now replaced with the sharp focus of a predator looking for revenge. It was Vauke who had latent force ability, not anyone else from his tribe. The fear that drove Amemph to slaughter all the Red Leaf had instead triggered the very thing he feared most, the birth of a new force user.

Fallen Gods has a new cool body marking gacha at The Fantasy Gacha. It comes as a tattoo layer for the body with appliers and a system face. But for my character I wanted to use the TMP head, so I used the Pure Coal skin for the body with the Legacy tattoo on top, and for the face, I used the skin Legacy of Maul. It works pretty closely but there is a slight seam at the neck so I used the Yasum face mask rather than fuss with it.  The Armor is Not The Droid Parts by QweenB at the Fantasy Gacha. You can win several colors. The parts are not rigged, so it was easy to scale it up for male fit. The Cross Guard Saber is from the FGC gacha by Equinox. I love these sabers. (You can see it in action below.) In the background is luring the ominous Rebel Hunter driod by Sushi. Chewie's The Crossbow gun worn on the back is by MaySoul. Dark Side Pants by Aphotic, and belt by Muschilu. This lion mane of pink hair awesomeness is by Truth. Love the style. The cape is by FATEplay and comes with a hud to change the style for hood up or down, cape length, and how it draps over the shoulder. The claws for TMP are by CerberusXing. Horns by Death Row, and Cubic Cherry. Face jewelry by Barerose. Make up by Lovely Disarray. And thanks to Niiiigel for the Nicotine poses.

STORYLINE: Vauke's love for exploring the swamp of the Fire Snake is what saved his life. It wasn't such a bad place when using a Recon Wader with a Navbot. And if anything attacked, he always had his overprotective pet dragon he called Spitting Rage, or Spiddle for short.

Shown here are some more fun toys at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. The All Terrain Recon Transport is wearable and will animate when you walk. The adorable Dragon bot, D-R4CO, is by HEXtraordinary. His is an animated pet you can wear. Chasing behind, is the White Attacking Dragon by 22769. There are 3 colors and 3 different dragon poses you can win. He has a breathing chest animation, and is completely editable, so you can tint or scale them up or down as you need. very nice. These pictures were taken at the dark and moody Pandemonium sim.

STORYLINE: Flamma was a legend in Rome. Originally a captured soldier from Syria, he was given a choice: be a slave and fight in the coliseum, or be free and executed. The Flame had a taste for battle. He fought 34 times and won all but 4 matches in a draw. The highest honor a gladiator can achieve is their freedom. He had won it long ago, but choose to keep fighting.

STORYLINE: The senate was testing Caesar's patience. He commanded the ringleader of the troublemakers, Marcus Vinicius, to leave immediately on an "important" diplomatic trip to Egypt. The ornery senator refused to go unless his favorite gladiator, Flamma, served as his personal guard. Neither the stubborn senator, or the famed gladiator suspected the Emperor was sending them into a trap.

I love these armors by Lab737. I used it for my gladitor but it can easily work on post apocalyptic too! They are mod so edited them to fit on the Niramyth upper body. Yes, I did a frankenbody, but that was because of the various fits to each piece. It actually came together reasonably well, but it's not perfect, there is a slight gap where TMP body meets the Slink foot, and the Niramyth neck with the TMP head. But hey, I'm happy I could pull this off! The Roman Sandals by Death Row are sized to fit slink. The Roman Bottom by The Body Factory had no problem fitting the seam at the TMP lower and Niramyth upper. The Laus Store gacha hip armor is mod so I sized it to fit. The PFC Hoplite cape I need to rez on the ground because it bent oddly when worn in this pose. By the way, I made that pose for this post. It's been a long time, I'm a little rusty. I want to give a big thanks to Zee, of store Oxi, for making a Gladius sword for me for this post. Thanks Zee! The spear staff and shield are by May Soul. The spear and dagger racks are by Death Row. The Chariot, also by Death Row, comes in clean and bloody, pg and adult poses. Veni, vidi, vici!

WLRP: The Klutzy Druid

STORYLINE: All the Druid Clans gathered at the great stone circle to celebrate the Spring Equinox. Being a showoff, he wanted to make a good impression on a special someone who caught his eye. He wanted to cast a flashy magic spell on top of the monoliths, but when he slipped on a damp patch of lichen, his plans didn't work out. His ego was more bruised than his rear.

March is ending soon. Be sure to raid Collabor88 for the cool Low ponytail hair from Tableau Vivant. It works great in many situations including role play. Senzafine is well known for her rich textures on decor and clothing. The guys often don't get love, so I am delighted this month at WLRP, Senzafine has a gorgeous blue tunic and leather leggings for both girls and guys. These fun unrigged boots by Geek are "Gonna Take an Arrow." lol You can get the boots in a style with or without arrows. The badass Bat necklace by The Forge all vamps need. I won a rare at the HorrorFest, but you can try your luck at the mainstore. Another fantastic gacha is the Quivers from Pucca Firecaster. It was in the last round of the Fantasy Gacha but you can also play it now at the main PFC store. The Candle Horns by May Soul were a part of the 25 Tuesday sale for Relay for Life. But if you missed it, you can still find them in the open garden area.

This bonus image is for Jo Yardley's Flickr group, "SecondLife is looking good." The group was created after the meeting with the new Linden Lab's CEO.  She wants only images that are not retouched in any way. "Collection of Second Life UNEDITED pictures that show how good this virtual online world can look and what it has to offer. The goal of this group is to collect pictures that show SL to outsiders, not to other SL users, keep that in mind." I thought was an interesting challenge. This picture is the same outfit, location, and windlights as the top image, but this time it's straight out of SL.

The pictures are taken at a new roleplay sim, Grimmrfell Norse, currently featured in the SL Destinations guide. This is a busy sim, with a lot of role players and tourists. You will land in a Viking boat. Look for the free mesh outfit for both men and women. You can wear it to get into the spirit of the sim. From there you can take a boat to explore, or hoof it. Have fun!
