The Retro Game Adventure 2

STORYLINE: The sender of the email claimed to be a character inside the game he had been seeking. She insisted he rescue her before it was too late. There were only a few copies left of her in the world. A vicious hacker was determined to destroy her!

My friends Kariritaisho and Mystina were so good to say yes when I asked for their help blogging Retro Games. It was tricky to coordinate three people's schedules, and LevelUp has now ended. Nevertheless, we all wanted to continued on with this idea for the series. Items shown here should be in the mainstores or added soon. Thanks guys! Shown above, Myst is wearing an outfit she put together and posed with the fun Cubic Cherry Chompychain tails. Adorable. The picture is taken at the fun Electrobit City sim. You can reach this level by taking the teleport near the bunnies at the main landing. Just be sure to accept all the experience keys when you land. You only need to accept it once, the sim will remember it after that.

STORYLINE: Of course Dino didn't believe a word of it. I mean, seriously? A game character is alive and claims a hacker is destroying all copies of the game? It made no sense. But, it was true the game was damn hard to find. Dino didn't know what to think about this, but since he had nothing better to do for a few hours, he followed her link and logged in as his favorite character, Lina the Guardian of Helios. Who knew what strange things might happen next? Maybe if he was lucky, he would finally get a copy of the game, right?

Kariritaisho is modeling several cute Link-like goodies from BluPrintz, the tunic, boots, and the weapons are part of a gacha. Her hair is Mario Hair by Ayashi. It comes with a Mario hat you wear or hide. The Graham's Adventure Cap is by Unrepentant and comes in 5 different colors. You mod it and scale it for the best fit. Her bunny sidekick is part of the Electrobit City sim. Just touch a bunny and he will ask if he can attach to you. Say yes, and you have a new pet who will follow you around. Cute.

RMK Halloween: The Magical Academy 1

STORYLINE: While the young students of the Ghost Academy struggled to control their brooms and fly through each gate on the course, their older classmates would preform trick stunts and often sent the rookies flying into thickets of thorns.

The idea for this outfit was one to match with the Magical Academy's schoolgirl's uniform (see image below). I used the new Preppy sweater and pants by Monso.   For the witch elements, I used my Rare Will o' Wisp win from Remarkable Oblivion' Witch Hats gacha last year. I have good news too, Remarkable Oblivion has a new series of witch hats coming out for this year at the Tag Gacha. It opens Oct 17th.  Working perfectly under the witch and with the cape, is the new group gift Huds Test Hair by Tableau Vivant. Tableau Vivant has just reopened it hair store with a brand new look, and completely new hair color huds!  Run go get the gift and play with all the many new cool colors! I picked this lovely strawberry blonde, it's my second favorite hair color after white. I'm so happy to finally have a nice strawberry color in SL!   The wand is part of the FATEplay's Henry outfit for the guys. The wand comes with a hud to trigger a spell cast animation. Working great with the pants, are the Deco wingtip shoes with socks. The cape is by Pucca Firecaster. It comes with an attachment to add a logo to the shoulders. In fact, monso tie has an add-on for logo also, I dropped on both Magical Academy logo. Fun! .... But I know what you guys really want to know, WHERE IS THAT BADASS BROOM?!! lol It's the prize by NeverWish at the RMK Halloween's Dream Gacha! It's unscripted and you can mod it. So you can tint it, resize it, or drop a script in it to make it fly. Just play the games at RMK and you can win it or make trades for it.  How do you play? In a nutshell: Play games and earn coins for the Dream Gacha. You have until October 31st to complete the challenges and get the prizes. For more information, and pictures of the prizes go to: http://rmkghost.blogspot.jp  Tutorial in English Here.

STORYLINE: Reiki was a freshman on her first ride on the broom. Instead of flying up, she went down right through the roof of the old theater!

Kemono and the M3 head by Utilizator are so cute, and work perfectly with the free school uniform, reminiscent of Kiki's Delivery Service. You don't need to play the games to get it, just go to the landing and touch Charolette's Raven to get it. The broom and poses are by Uncertain Smile, and you can win them at the Dream Gacha. The mod and skin are created by Mad Echo, and the eyes by Mad Echo are coming soon. The hair by LCKY was a Femboy Hunt prize last month. And the scarf is by Kariritaisho's own store, Hey Listen!

Summer Double Feature: Femboy Hunt + Genre Lolita

STORYLINE: He could hardly believe it. The prettiest girl at Anime High said yes to a date with him. Not having any better sense, he took her to his favorite place in the world. It was a rundown movie theater deep in Pack territory. All the best werewolf movies could be found there, even B-movies long forgotten. He was completely obvious when she blurted, "This place smells like wet dog," and kicked a half-chewed bone littering the floor as if it were made of toxic waste. He was in heaven. Today's showing was, "Curse of the Blood Moon," followed by "Tyrannosaurus Rex vs The Hellhound of Dracula." During the horrific climax of the movie, she screeched and clung to his arm with a iron grip surprising from someone so delicate looking. It was awesome. If he had a badass tail like Satan Sliverclaw, it would be wagging like mad. When he asked her for a second date, she said yes, but she would pick where they go next time.

I laughed so hard on this copy. ...Ok, let me tell you a little bit about this image. We are both wearing the new mesh anime head by Utilizator. It comes with a hud to change eye colors and emotes for eyebrow, tears, eyes, mouth, and blush. You can use the hud to change skin, brow, and eye textures. It's a lot of fun for girls, but tricky for a guy to pull off. I combined it with the mesh male body from U & A. It's super skinny so I used my own shape to tweak how I liked. The skin texture is full perm which it made it possible for me to create alpha textures. I know my way around UVmaps and Photoshop so this was easy for me, but it could be difficult for others. I have really warmed up now to the idea of wearing a mesh body. It's so nice to have hands and feet that look better then the default avatar. The hair I picked up during the Magika sale. My lovely date here loves the Utilizator female mesh body but for more clothing options, she matched the mesh head to a skin by Fortunata. She loves long hair. When I saw the hair by Enigma at Hair Fair, I knew she would go crazy for it. The hair comes with all colors, and 30% of sales goes to Wigs for Kids. Her dress by Kastle Rock currently on sale for 100L at Genre's July theme Summer Lolita. I am wearing a fun Femboy Summer Hunt prize from Sugarnova. You can see prize previews of most Femboy Hunt items HERE. The Revolt popcorn really creates movie watch ambience with a loud munching sound and spray of temp rez popcorn kerns. This awesome couples chair by Row by Row is prefect for in-world movie viewing and it comes with many original animations. And yes, this really is a werewolf movie theater. It's located in the Lost Wastelands, part of the City of Lost Angles.
