Midnight Order: Symphony of the Night

STORYLINE: Only the pale light of the waning moon leaked into the darkness from broken rafters above. Footsteps echoed down the long stone corridor. Alucard summoned a candelabra and lit it with his dark powers. It was not so much for him, as he could see quite well in the night. Revealing himself in a friendly manner he hoped would assure his visitor he meant no harm. "I am Alucard, master of the castle," he bowed politely. The flickering light gleamed on his long golden locks. A bitter voice sneered at him, "Oh, I know who you are, Bloodsucker." The man pointed to the blood splatter covering Alucard, "The chosen one? The messiah foretold by prophecy? Ridiculous! You're the son of the devil himself, Dracula..." Alucard cut him off, "And the son of my mother, a human."  Undeterred, the man spat, "Abomination! I will purge you from this world!" Alucard sighed, not this shit again. 

I know I know, everyone is talking about the Gachapocalypse (me too!), but can we take a moment to swoon over the Gothic goodies at Midnight Order? So much awesome.... Midnight Order's halfway point is this weekend, new gifts will be put out and live DJ Friday the 6th , 2 - 4pm SL time, and at 7 - 9pm SL time, and on Saturday the 7th f2 - 4pm SL time, and at 7 - 9pm SL time. Midnight Order ends August 20th.

The image above was totally inspired by the classic Gothic creations this round, and of course Alucard from Castlevania. (Is the Castlevania Netflick series great or what?) For my picture above, I did Alucard more in style of the classic Symphony of the Night. He is wearing the Eternal top, pants and boots by Toksik. All items are mod, so I tinted the boot laces to gold. The gorgeous candelabra is by Reliquary and has texture hud to change all its textures. Smartly hidden on his right thigh are the Kosii Hunter Stakes and Holsters to bring down a big bad like Dracula. It is interactive, with a hud to trigger draw, flip and sheath animations. From a past MO round, is the beautifully created TF: Mort Veins BOM texture, - its perfect for any starving creature of the night. The Dhampir cape by Aii works so well here, its Bento and you can touch it to change it's built in animations. The background is the castle at No Salvation.

Midnight Order: The Grand Masquerade

STORYLINE: It all started with the ringing of a tiny bell. Cornelius had been engrossed in a book when a stunning woman stepped inside the bookstore and asked the shopkeeper about a rare out of print book. Normally his mind was focused on invention, he wasn't one to chase after a skirt. However, he began to visit that little bookstore more frequently. He told himself it was research, but in truth he was hoping to see her again. And see her again he did. She was strolling down the aisles, picking up books. He nodded. "...Yes, yes. Excellent choice. A lady of good taste." And then She looked directly at him and smiled. What she said, he had no idea. He forgot his own name. She laughed and took the book he had desperately been pretending to read and turned up right side up. Normally he would have been quite embarrassed, but all he could think was "she smiled at me." So it came as quite a shock the next day he discovered his mystery woman on the cover of the newspaper. She was the youngest daughter of the Queen's Knight family, and would be soon be picking a husband from the attendees of the Grand Masquerade. He had no invitation. He had no hope to win the hand of such an amazing lady. But he felt if he didn't tell her his true feelings, it would kill him. Words failed him in her presence, so he created a beautiful ruby mechanical heart. His plan was to sneak into the ball before it started, and offer it to her.

Engine Room: Commodore of the Skies

STORYLINE: The frontier towns floating in the lawless skies of Venus were full of scavengers, ruffians, and pirates. But that all changed when the Commodore arrived. He was determined to make it safe for the pioneers.

These are the last days of round two of the Engine Room. Be sure to head over and scoop up some badass Steampunk goodies. Shown above is the Commanders coat by Salem. It comes in several base colors. The Gasmask is by The Forge. It comes in black and brown, unrigged and mod so you can adjust it for a good fit. The gun is by Reliquary and comes with a hud to draw, fire, and holster. It has optional textures you load into it. You can also buy a shell caddy for your gun. In the background is the Irongate Wharf by Ex Machina. Its meant for the water, but hey, it can fly too if you give some propellers. lol  Other items I used, The Blackjack rare Airship, and past LindenLab premium gift the Marauder. Gloves, pants, and boots are by Contraption. And adding a little movement is the Cureless Senshi cloth from gacha.

Aenigma (Madness) : Contagion

STORYLINE: No one knew how it started. A sneeze in a subway car? The bite of an exotic pet? Perhaps a meal created of dubious ingredients? Surely no one would have deliberately infected over million people in Mopire City with what they call "The Blood Pox," ...that would be insane.

Oh yes, you can tell where my head is with this image. Its hard to escape our reality at the moment. I hope you all are taking precautions during the SARS2-CoV-19 outbreak. Thoughts about the pandemic leaked into my first image for the Madness theme round of Aenigma. I was inspired by the claws, and syringe to make a type of Outbreak image. Omg I love these L'Emporio&PL claws so much! They come with fits for Niramyth Aesthetic, Jake 2.0, Legacy m, and Gianni. They include a texture hud with 14 gothic and bloody textures plus alpha options to turn on and off individual nails. There is a very good chance I might wear these forever. lol  From Reliquary is a cool oversized Syringe guaranteed to make any needle-squish people weak in the knees. It comes with a pose and optional textures you can drop on it to change up its look. I used the Red textures. The bracelets from Badwolf include 4 styles in gold and silver. The are unrigged so you can edit them and move them around for the best fit.
