STORYLINE: A wandering woman in fancy garb stopped dead in her tracks. She had no care that she was in the middle of a busy cobblestone street. She had just seen a frightful sight. There, before the Undertaker's shop was a scary looking man in bonds. "You," she glided towards him. "It's a faint memory, but yes. Yes. I do remember your face. You were dear to me. Why do you look so horrifying? What happened to you? Why are you in chains?" His dazed eyes looked towards her. They flickered like candlelight through the Mutoscope. "I am cursed," he moaned pitifully. "I have committed a terrible sin." As if to demonstrate, he lifted his straightjacketed arms and rattled his chains. She was taken aback. "Well surely, it can't be that bad." She made a gallant effort to sound cheerful and dusted the cobwebs off his shoulder. "Tell me what happened."

ROMP Fair Summer is in full swing, and among the interesting items you can pick up is the new Contraption straightjacket. It comes in male and female, lighter and gunmetal color, fitted mesh version with arms unbound, and one with arms wrapped up. It's wonderful and I am so excited to see Contraption making clothing now. The Leg Prosthesis also by Contraption are on sale at The Men's Department. They are fitted mesh so you can scale the foot to any size you like, and adjust the thickness at the upper thigh. Also at ROMP is the fun Chains Set by Swagga. It comes with boxers, and fits for the default avatar and The Mesh Project body. In the background is an awesome new release by Death Row, - The Funeral Hearse. It comes in new and old styles. There is a hud to change the textures on seating and the curtains. It's 15 land impact, and loaded with poses for singles, and couples, plus an adult version. The top hat and monocle are from the Death Row outfits gacha from last month's Arcade. The Flourish hair is by Magika, and works great on the guys and under hats. The Flesh Eater teeth are from [ni.Ju]. Akaneiro Oni - Blade for Hire

STORYLINE: Akaneiro was an Oni gone rogue, a hired muscle. He was known for being a capable Ronin, but few of the dwellers in the village realized what he was hiding under his hat, his tale-tell Oni horns.

I have a treat for you guys today, a fantastic sim I discovered! Soyokaze is a role playing sim that's beautifully made in the Edo Japan period. They locals are friendly (unless you draw a sword like I did for this picture. Drawing a sword is seen as invitation to get into a fight. lol) There is a cool interactive game on this sim, The Code of the Bushido. Some quests are puzzles, some require a 2nd person, and one of them requires skills and practice to pass. I recommend it for all fans of games in SL.

Before you head to the sim to explore and play, you will need to dress for the part. Above I am wearing an awesome new creation by Swagga, Ronin's Soul. It's one piece fitted mesh and it includes the top, pants, belt, two sheathed katana, and a water bottle. It's on sale now at We <3 Role Play. The Oni pauldron, bracers are an excellent new gacha by Pucca Firecaster. Touch the armor to resize it and it will also deliver to you a texture change hud.  All parts can be resized in the edit menu. The hat is another gacha item, but this one is by 22769 bauwerk. It was from a past Secret Affair, and sadly looks like it's no longer available. (I couldn't find it at the main store location.) The geta are by CerberusXing, and I added a fun tint to them. They can work with either slink or TMP feet, they not rigged and editable. For fun, I added the deep red nail polish by Senzafina. It's just one hud and it will add color to both hands and feet at the same time.

STORYLINE: It was not his lack of skill or Oni magic that got him captured, it was bad intel on how heavily fortified his objective was. Still, he made an oath to return to the Sacred Oni Lands once he escaped. He sensed the Oni had lost too much power. The humans had grown too bold. They no longer feared creatures such as him. He decided it was better to die in a last stand among his brothers and sisters then to suffer the humiliation of being captured by humans again.

PoseFair 2015

The massive Pose Fair 2015 ends today. If you haven't dropped by yet, don't miss it! There are poses for girls, guys, couples, dance animations, ... and something totally new to me, HUDS!

Shown above is the Tillies Hud. I am totally a new to using a hud helper for my picture taking, but it's amazing. I'm kicking myself for not doing this sooner! I've been experimenting with the different tools in this hud. One part of the hud am I am crazy in love with, -- being able to save multiple camera positions! Now when I crash while taking a picture, I can return right back where I was. THERE ARE 10 CAMERA SAVES! This is so amazing. Think about it, say you are making vendor pictures of a product. You want the images to be consistent and only the product or avatar changes, right? Well this with handy tool you can save you camera positions for your ads and your vendor pictures will be consistant for today, tomorrow, even a year from now! As long as you keep your camera preset, you are good to go. It works on all viewers. The hud also has sets for poses, saves windlights, changes backdrop, and more. The outfit I am wearing above is in a fun color theme from FATEwear, Highlands. (That's fancy speak for PANK. lol) The Belfort coat comes with a wool collar, shirt, vest and tie. I love canes, so any excuse I get to use one I will go for. lol Topping off this Jazz pose by Le poppycock is the Souzou Eien Dapper Cane. It comes with a hud to change the wood and metal colors. The setting props by Apple Fall are from the Paris gacha now located at the mainstore.

Dev’s How To Guide for the Tillies v5  Hud Camera Control:

How to Save a Camera Angle:

1) Position camera where you want it. 

2) On the upper left side, select the camera icon.

3) Choose a number in the circles on the right side of the hud.

4) Click once to turn it pink.  (meaning you have selected it)

5) Click it again to turn it purple (meaning the camera angle is now saved)

6) Move your camera where ever you like.

How to return to a Saved Camera Angle:

1) When you want to return to a saved camera position, hit the esc key on your keyboard.

2) Now choose one of the numbers in the purple circles on the right side of the hud.

3) Click it.  Wa La! Camera angle is restored!

Q: But Dev, what if I crash?

A: Crashing is when the saved camera positions will really save you time! The hud saves the camera, so you can restore and pick right up where you left off before the crash.

Q: Ok cool, but what if I want to switch viewers?

A: No problem! I tried it in both Firestorm and the Official Viewer. The camera angle was exactly the same, doesn't matter what viewer you choose!  Pretty cool, huh?  ^^  (TIP: you can use the Save Windlights presets to transfer your lighting also when moving to anther viewer.)

Q: Oh I spammed up all my Saved Camera Positions, how do I get rid of them?

A: Simple, see below.

How to delete Camera Positions

1) Select the saved position you want to delete. (it will turn pink when selected)

2) Now look on your hud in upper left side for the Skull and Crossbones.

3) Click it. Boom! Saved position is now gone and the circle returns to grey (blank).

How can shuffle through camera positions quickly? (yes, I am lazy) lol

1) Next to the Skull and Crossbones are two arrows on either side of the letters “Cam”

2) Click those to shuffle quickly through your saved camera positions.
