STORYLINE: The leader singer of a California punk rock band, Dino had a passion for video games. The bright colors and happy 8-bit bleeps made his child's heart glow. He repaired old arcade machines and game consoles as a side business to supplement his income in-between gigs. But there was one game he longed for that he could never find. Until one day he got a mysterious email.

This gamer room makes me feel stupid happy, like a cozy hideout where your buds come over and you shoot the shit for hours. lol You can get the Retro Game goodies at the new round of Level Up, but you need to be fast, the 5th is the last day. From Level Up: The little green hair elves are wearable pets gacha by swagga. The Tossing Barrels Arcade game by Nomad is a wearable backpack and it is animated! (I scaled it up larger for the picture and hid the backpack straps.) The Pac Man Ghost wall art is by Frogstar, and the black art poster is by Unrependant. On the table are the brick cube, coin, and question mark box are by Mien. The Gamer bracelet and ring are a gacha by Nomad. It's non-rigged so you can adjust it for a good fit. The Headgear is by Swagga and it's also editable non-rigged mesh. The glass elements on the eye piece are animated and you can change the color with a hud. Other things I am wearing: The new years group gift hair from Tableau Vivant comes with all the color huds and it has fits for girls and guys. The piercings are by Haus of Darcy and were on sale at the last round of Tengoku-no-rakuen. (Also by Haus of Darcy on sale at Creation.Jp are nipple piercings with several styles of piercings.) The jean vest by 7 Mad Ravens is on sale right now at the Cosmopolitan Sales Room. You can get it in Punk like above, camo, or rebel styles. The Wasted jeans are also by 7 Mad Ravens. The New Rock boots are subscriber gift from Hoorenbeek. To get them, join the subscriber group and wait 15 days. Then go back to get the gifts. In this 2nd view of the game room you can see the Vintage Gamer set on the right by Fetch. it includes a retro game console, table, and flat screen tv. To the left is the Gamer Living room by NOMAD. It includes couch with single and couple animations, tube table, and barrel toss wall shelf. The little guy by the sofa is Mr Molimar by Monster Slayer. on the backwall are a series of framed art from the Frogstar gacha Art Prints. Each artwork is a theme game style. On the table top is one of the board games by Hopscotch, "Don't get angry, avatar." In this image, Dino is wearing the NOMAD Retro Gamer's wristwatch. The face is a pong-like game and it keeps real time! I set mine to the SL PST time and the 12 hour cyle.

The Baron Samedi

STORYLINE: The shaken schoolgirl was now cursed with the ability to see spirits. It was the price she paid for entering their realm. Still, she hoped the curse would end. She took a different route home to avoid the Possessed Doll. As she passed the outskirts of the US Air Force base, she saw a horrific plane crash. She was glad the pilot safely parachuted down. But something was not right about the strange man in a tuxedo and top hat who stood on the runway without a care. When the firetruck passed right through him, she knew for sure it was a ghost. No sooner had she thought that, then the dark man's head jerked in her direction. He waved his hand, she felt a swoosh of air, then she suddenly found herself in a swamp in some far away place. This ghost must be powerful, she thought. He spoke English, but she could understand him. "A child sees things not meant to be seen. The Baron can not allow this." He handed her a bottle with hot peppers decorating its label. "One drink from that, Cheri, and the walking nightmare will be at end."

I'm thrilled about the theme for this round of the Fantasy Collective, the Swamp! Finally a theme that's closer to home. I live in swampy area and often visit the New Orleans/Baton Rouge areas. Naturally, I am wild for Baron Samedi too, having done a lot of research him for a story. When I saw this badass Baron hat and hair by Tableau Vivant, I did a happy dance! It comes in a male and female version, each hat slightly different. The girl's has a rose and the guy's a cross. The hair is separate from the hat. Going with a witch doctor theme, Death Row has a stunningly cool witchdoctor mask that is perfect for a spooky swamp. It has a matching staff complete with little bottles and a voodoo doll. Over on the Coffin Shelf by Noctis, is the top hat on the skull by Sweet Lies gacha. I won the rare which comes with a texture change hud. Next to it is another gacha from Fantasy Collective, the Shrunken Head Potion Canteen by Eskimo Fashion. The bone necklace the Baron is wearing is part of the BOOM set that includes a Baron mask. The masks come in several colors. For today, the Baron wears his signature dark shades. The sunglasses by Kumaki are perfect for him, they even have skulls on the side. Holding his voodoo dolls or potions is the handy Hipster Bag by Remarkable Oblivion. It's on sale at FaMESHed and comes in 3 different colors. You can resize it with a menu on the x,y,z. From Totally Top Shelf is this awesome fitted mesh snake! YES! There are 4 styles, and each one comes with a texture hud to change your precious snakeypoo's colors. This picture was taken on the Madpea's Green Mire sim. If you do thier side hunt for Evil Bunny, you will score green bunny slippers and a green bunny shoulder pet. You until the 31st to do the hunt.

She liked your song. I had hoped you would come work for me. The Battle Bot match was a test to see how you would perform under pressure. Sadly, you are far too violent and unpredictable to be hirable. And since Rook is much more valuable than you are, I can't release her to you. You have ruined my plans for the last time. But don't worry, we will make it as painless as possible. You will be heavy dosed on opium until you die. Goodbye A.N.G.E.L."

Romp and Month of Games are ending soon, if you have not checked them out yet, hurry over! The Month of Games has products in the themes of classic board games Chess, Candyland, and Clue. Pictured above on Rook is cool combination of the Vengeful Threads Pawn lolita dress and Zanze Rook dress. Pawn includes a cute collar with little chess pieces on it. The Zanze Rook comes with a mesh dress, sleeves and Rook hat. In the background is a Rook staff from the Down Down Down chess piece gacha. Her stockings are by Cannibelle and work with Slink. Her hair is rigged mesh by Curio Obscura. Touch it to change the colors, many options included! Her heels were available during World Goth Fair, but I wasn't able to track them down at the Deadpool mainstore. This awesome skin is a group gift by Essences. ... Now over on Kujo, I have a funky mix of Tuxedo and Latex. lol This was inspired by the Latex Bowtie by BOOM available at ROMP. It's open collar RLV and includes a hud to change the colors. You can edit and modify to get the perfect fit, or add a tint. This Tuxedo is gorgeous. I highly recommend it. It come with shirt, open and closed jacket, handkerchief, and cumberbun. It also has materials. Hair is once more the Makoto hair by Aysashi. This hair is so nice! The shades are by Gos. Touch them for a menu to change the frame and len color, or wear them up or down. My favorite dress shoes are the Bradford by PixelFashion. Noctis skin is so badass, I love it and wear it often, love the brows. lol The pose is a new group gift from Del May. ... Now about the setting. This scene was inspired by the Kuro's Declan Set on sale at ROMP. It just seems perfect for a men's club, smoking room, or a secret society's headquarters. You really need to come try the demos for these, they are awesome. The sofa and chair can texture change, and they are also editable. I tweaked the colors for this post and made them taller for my size. It has materials also. The animations come in M/F, FFM, and MMF, adult and pg. Included in the set is the floorlamp that turns on and off, the table, and whip and box props. You can also buy individual pieces. The body bags are a new group gift by Contraption and come materials enabled.

STORYLINE: As he was lead away, the Cursed A.N.G.E.L overheard a heated argument. A young man was being tortured for an investigative story he published on Earth News. Apparently, he found out the EVA team manager was given a big payout by Kujo to sabotage her Battle Bot. The kid did nothing wrong, in the A.N.G.E.L's opinion. Seriously, since when was it a crime to expose people cheating the system? That's the point of journalism. If Kujo couldn't beat into submission this spirited idealistic reporter, then he damn sure wasn't going to take down an A.N.G.E.L either.

Helping out with a bonus ROMP image and story idea are Remmock and Kariritaisho as the reporter Art Murrow and Kujo's henchman Alka. They are showing you the Oyasumi set decorations, and the N4RS DeSade Salon table. The table comes in either M/F or M/M. It's RLV and will provide cuff for particle chains. It has materials also. RMK Gothic: Renewal Gifts 2

All kinds of people are coming down to RMK Gothic, even my brother! I caught him snooping around the Undertakers. He let me play with his Nu'ville loot (the blood bag and Bunnicula), and I showed him where the RMK renewal gifts were like AIR's Rabbit Monocle, and the Frozen Night rigged mesh black collar. Hey, that's what brothers are for.  ^^

Now let me tell you more about items I am wearing. The Retro Military coast by Kauna is a must have and you can tint it whatever color you want. Like all of Remarkable Oblivion's creations, the Necromancer Crown is another fantastic item to own. It's like a little piece art sitting on your head. The Blood Bank Bag is actually rigged mesh you wear and carry with you. There is cool sippy straw from the bag to your mouth. Love it. For photo purposes, it's shown without the walk animation and straw. All vampires need to tour Nu'ville. You can get candy like blood pops, cute Beetlebones avis like bat, mummy, ghoul, angel, and fun shoulder pets like Bunnicula. He squeaks and wiggles his ears when you touch him.

STORYLINE: The son of The Great Tyrant was beautiful like his father, an angel, but he had a wicked heart like his mother. He set eyes on conquering the homeworld of Barbarella, one screaming fangirl at a time.

Triple stars for you rock trivia fans who name the alludes in the image above: movie, band, and guitarist. For the Oh Hair by Tableau Vivant and I used pink in the Equinox pack for Visual Kei look. The jacket by Kuana I got at FaMESHed and should be in the mainstore soon. The cool neckwarmer by Shi is at Collabor88, as well as the color change ankh rings by Maxi Gossamer. The Circa ring is an animated spider in the gacha at HorrorFest. I'm wearing the handy Frozen Night shorts again, but this time I am wearing mesh stocking from Sn@tch. To make this work on a guy and boost my Visual cred, I paired it with the platform boots by Lapointe & Bastchild. The fun Mikkokosmos guitar is one of 2 Luckyboards you can win at Libber's Guitars. There is also a free off-the-shoulder guitar, and a typing effect guitar. The picture is taken at a cool wrecked spaceship under the ocean at DDU.
