Fantasy Faire: Reservoir Zero

STORYLINE: A messy haired child hopped across the hot metal plates of the floating city, Reservoir Zero, past the graffiti reading "water is worth more than blood," and "count every drop."

He danced on his feet, "Hot! Hot!" and quickly tied two used feedbags to his bare feet.

In the distance, a dark clad towering man walked across the metal catwalk to the center pumping engine of the city's cistern. Fisher. A warrior from the War for Life.

Scraper smiled. He vaulted off to the balcony railing, swung on a thick trailing vine, and parkoured his way down with all the caution of a celebrity crazed fan.

Fisher was the eldest in the city with white hair, war scars, and black machine eyes that were impossible to read. He was the city's handyman, a jack of all trades. Someone who knew the old technology, and how to fix things.

Scrapper peeked out from behind the pump's flywheel. He pointed to Fisher’s strange oxidized hands. “Does it hurt?”

Fisher chuckled, he seemed to know the child was following him.

“When it does, it’s only a reminder I am alive.” He offered the child a bit of freshly cut sushi.

Scraper squealed excitedly and plopped down on top of a pile of cords, happily devouring the gift.

“What was it like?” He spoke with a mouth full of food. “When there was land?”

Fisher was quiet for a moment, looking out at the vast watery horizon.

“There were vines like we have here," he gestured to the towering shacks stacked upwards. "And so much more."

"Really?"

"Green plants as far as the eye could see. They grew on their own too,” he winked. “Without any effort by humans to keep them alive.”

Scraper gasped. “Wow. That sounds amazing. Do you miss it?”

“I do, and who I was before the War for Life, but that’s the past. What matters now, is the joy of survival. Every day is a blessing, no matter how different things are. Do you understand?”

“Uh...,” Scraper blushed. “Not really. But I think I know what you mean. Do you want some help?”

Fisher picked up his fishing net, “I would love the company. I can show you how to do it. Would you like to catch your own fish next time?”

Scraper nodded eagerly, and together they climbed to the lower level.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make this year's Fantasy Faire another wonderful, inspired event and raised funds for a good cause. I felt so inspired by the Reservoir Zero sim, I squeezed none more post to highlight it before the Faire ends tomorrow. ... You can read more detail on the sim here: Reservoir-zero.

The theme for this story is what happens after you survive cancer. This post's inspirations are my mom who is a cancer survivor, the movie Waterworld, and the Reservoir Zero sim. ...Fisher is a blend of items from the Faire. I used the OneDay's Hajime outfit and paired it with the fun Grasshopper Street Tiger Shimp Hat, and ERG tool belt. To show his battle scars are, Hexed's Broken blood vessels, Misteria Infected gloves with materials effects, and Curious Kitties dark eyes. His pose and swords (for cutting sushi), are part of UZME's Dual Blade pose set. From Wicked Made is the copper Sterling Gas Lamp (check out the fun hover lamp in the store too), and ERG's Verdant Ceiling Pipe Light with hanging vines for a perfect tone with Reservoir Zero's theme. ... From Starlit-Endeavor are the Venusion Sci Fi Props available at the current round of the Warehouse. They are PBR and full mod, so you can scale them up or down, however you wish.

Wizarding Faire 2020: The Substitute Teacher

STORYLINE: The class had been murmuring. The Professor for Defense Against the Dark Arts was late. He was never late. Did something bad happen to him? Speculation was rampant until a dramatic kick to open the door made them all spin in their seats towards someone they had never seen before. She had wild disheveled hair, and a spiteful glare. " 'ello Dearies. Care to learn 'ow to not get owned in a duel like Professor Musty Pants?" Fennimore's jaw dropped. Was she a substitute teacher, ....or the reason the professor was missing?

The Wizarding Faire is ending soon. This post was inspired by the Dueling Skybox by Pitaya, the Dueling Wand and hud system by Nishi, dueling pose by Lulustuff, and the Artemis Dress by Altair.  I imagined someone like Bellatrix LeStrange teaching Dueling. STORYLINE: Four Edens were inside the old hangout of NicNack, the Reactor Club. The Cursed A.N.G.E.L. attempted to sneak in thorough a backdoor, when he was blocked by Cat-a-Clysm, the personal bodyguard of NicNack. She smirked at him, "I can see the thirst all over your face. I knew you would show up. Your song 'Carpe Noctem' is a junior effort." She suddenly looked left then right, and leaned towards him to whisper, "But your words touched me. Listen, nothing in this town happens unless Kujo says so, including what is a number one song, and what isn't. You want an Eden snack? See Kujo. He could use some new muscle. I'm overworked."

Kawaii Katana! It's a creation taken from the Remarkable Oblivion vault made available at We <3 Role Play this month. It can texure change from red, kawaii, punk, and black. The Cat-A-Clysm headphones also by Remarkable Oblivion are available at FaMESHed. The dramatic bob haircut Valentin from Tableau Vivant looks amazing with this incredible full perm Pirate Corset April gift from Meli Imako. Cat-A-Clysm is wearing the fitted-mesh version. I'm very impressed by how well fitted-mesh can adapt to different sizes including a flat chested style. The glasses by Crie Style sale at Japan Fair are full donation item to the Shelter Box. The side has cute mini parasol and dangling mini fan. The parasol has an open space and this is meant to be seductive, like you see a sneak peek of the person holding the umbrella. While I will snooping around Glam Affair yesterday, I found all the past Arcade gachas are up! Now you can play those machine again and nice skin like this Luria one. The glossy lipstick is a Valentine's group gift from Pink Fuel. Since the outfit was too revealing for a katana wielding ninja girl,  I added the Dark Middar Design bloomers and it worked perfectly! Added a bit more punk style, I used the dangling straps from Sey's Studded belt. The eyes are from Insufferable Dastard, and the cool pose by momomuller works great for the not-too-girlish Cat-A-Clysm.

STORYLINE: Fennimore didn't know he was being followed. He was so engrossed in his own thoughts, when a real attack hit him he was caught completely unprepared. He attempted to return fire but it was too late. Fennimore spent the afternoon chasing mice in the library and licking his fur. He missed the final exam.

Are these new mesh hands by Slink great or what? Finally some badass claws, and I can paint my nails whatever color too. Thank you! The skin I am wearing is gorgeous new release Lucis by Tableau Vivant. There are no male hand and feet SLink appliers yet, but I am hoping Tableau Vivant will come out with some. The ears and tail are by Magika. It comes in all colors so it's not problem to match hair and Neko parts. The raven on my shoulder is one of the fun prizes rotating at the Sarcastic lucky board. Bunny in Cherry Dress Suit for Boys

STORYLINE:  Little Red Hood was a happy girl who she loved to cook. She experimented with new spices and exotic vegetables to her grandmother's delight. Tuesday night was their special time together. Little Red Hood looked forward to their meeting all week. She was especially proud of her newest creation, it was so delicious! She was skipping and humming a happy tune when tragedy struck.

Little Red Hood desperately pleaded her innocence to Kaiser Kruel, the leader of the Deathheads. She tried to keep the Deathhead moths from landing on her, but it was too late. Kaiser huffed, "There is no such thing as a spontaneous case of Dark. Dark you are, and dark you will stay. Welcome to Cursed."

Ha ha fun! Little Red is now Little Black! The basket now has bones, a skull, brains, and other toxic looking things. I love it! So twisted. As for my outfit, I am wearing the Bliensen + MaiTai Deathhead moths. My evil vamp eyes are from Avatar Bizarre. RMK Gothic Bunny Hunt: The Tweedle Twins

STORYLINE: The White Rabbit leaned back and stared at her with unblinking eyes. "I answered your questions, Alice. Time for you to answer mine. Who is tallHat, and where can I find him?" "What?" Alice was stunned. "I thought you knew him." The White Rabbit seemed unimpressed by her response. "Secret agents Dee and Dum will safely guide you to the border of Wonderland, you need to avoid the Spades." "Follow us!" "Yes follow us! I'm Tweedle Dee," the girl chirped. "I'm Tweedle Dum," the boy grumbled. Alice took a closer look at the twins. They wore eyepatches and had many scars on their arms. She thought it odd for children. Before she could protest the twins were far too young for protection duty, the White Rabbit drank something, became a tiny rabbit, and hopped away. 

The WTG Checkemate prize for Bunny Hunt fits the female base. I am using femboy shape to show them. The male version is available at the WTG store for sale. There are also earrings and necklaces for guys and girls in the Checkmate series. Also shown are these cool Rose Eyepatches by Likka House for the Twisted Hunt. The white bunny is the hunt prize from Soup and comes with a hold pose. The black bunny stuffed animal by Lamplight is from the Anime Hunt and comes in many different wearable versions. The Twins are both wearing Likka house bunny hunt prize, but the collar and cuffs on Dee are the AIR prize. The cameo on the collar is a very cool design with 2 bunnies on it.

STORYLINE: Alice had a bad feeling about this, and she still had not made contact with her informat "tallHat." A group of Spade Card Soliders spotted them. Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dum shoved her into the bushes, and commanded her to hide there. She was shocked how strong they were. The bunnies withdrew deadly looking weapons from their stuffed animals. Alice's suspicions were right, these were definitely not children! The Bunnies must be abusing drugs from the Pink to make themselves smaller and larger. She wasn't about the miss this opportunity to get away. She bolted into the dark forest, and began her search in earnest for tallHat.

RMK Gothic Bunny Hunt: Down the Rabbit Hole

STORYLINE: Suddenly a small figure darted between the Jack of Spades' legs. The White Rabbit! Jack loosened his grip just enough for Alice to break free. She ran after the rabbit and dove into a small doorway after him. As she tumbled further and further down, she saw the White Rabbit holding his hat and happily singing, "I know a secret, I know a secret."

This awesome little bunny dude comes out of the box with Alice hair and undergarments. But the avatar is unisex, just switch the clothing and hair. He can wear any hair or hat unless it's long-hair rigged mesh. (Long-hair rigged mesh get crumpled below the shoulders.) Also, the ears on the bunny you can take off and wear on your normal avatar. ...Now a word of warning, the ladies will take one look at your epic cuteness and want to hold you. So if you are scared of women much larger than you, be careful while wearing your little bunny dude. lol

If I had to describe this look in one word, my reply would be "Lestat," a lion of a vampire with a taste for the finer things, and who is not afraid to wear feathers, corsets, or impossible spikey things as long as it looks damn good. Femboy Hunt Winter 2013, part 4

Today we will explore three stylized takes of Bosnian super model Andrej Pejic who has the amazing ability to model both male and female clothing. Going counter-clockwise through increasing degrees of cuteness:

On the left is my experimental take on Andrej. I am using Tableau Vivant skin Andrej and hunt prize hair Lythrum. Like a good model, he is showing us the new Epic Sweater from Epicosity which comes with a hud for changing 12 colors and 3 fabric patterns.

On the lower right is cute hunt prize Andrej by Aeva Heartsick that comes with 5 skin tones, options for brows and freckles, plus male shape for female base. This skin works great on the male base too! Glam makeup tattoo by Tori-Tastic. Both Visual Kei style hairs in blue are from Ayashi, the hunt prize is the darker blue.

On the upper right, the cuteness explodes with an adorable Chibi mesh avatar by Curious Kitties. Everything he is wearing is either a hunt prize or a freebie from the Curious Kitties store.

The Femboy Hunt - Winter 2013 has begun! This hunt has something for everyone: girls, guys, and anything in-between, even other species like elves and furries. Time for a gothic romance with a twist! I've been very inspired by Twisted Hunt and these awesome Elegant Gothic Aristocrat and Elegant Gothic Lolita outfits from RokumeikaN. The story will be posted in three parts with six images.
