STORYLINE: The class had been murmuring. The Professor for Defense Against the Dark Arts was late. He was never late. Did something bad happen to him? Speculation was rampant until a dramatic kick to open the door made them all spin in their seats towards someone they had never seen before. She had wild disheveled hair, and a spiteful glare. " 'ello Dearies. Care to learn 'ow to not get owned in a duel like Professor Musty Pants?" Fennimore's jaw dropped. Was she a substitute teacher, ....or the reason the professor was missing?

The Wizarding Faire is ending soon. This post was inspired by the Dueling Skybox by Pitaya, the Dueling Wand and hud system by Nishi, dueling pose by Lulustuff, and the Artemis Dress by Altair.  I imagined someone like Bellatrix LeStrange teaching Dueling. STORYLINE: One thing you learn quickly while living in the Wastelands is gratitude for anything edible. If you are fortunate enough to catch Kebab Grill Master Barbwire on a good day, he'll take your mystery meat, bugs, and dead plants and cook it up so well you can almost taste civilization.

Aenigma returns blasting the Post Apocalyptic sirens! ....or was that just today's news? lol This post is inspired in part by the Sahara Dust Storm invasion on my 2020 Apocalyptic Bingo card, and the fun Space KeBab space capsule by Oshrio and Normandy Buzzsaw, which is sharp enough to cut even the toughest of meats.

Summerfest 2019: The Vampire Pool Party

STORYLINE: Summer is a time for going to the beach, splashing in the surf, and soaking in the sun. But what about the creatures of the night? Are they doomed to never experience the joys of summer?  Well down on the Moonset Strip at a little club called the Rockabilly Rox, the vampires are throwing a hell of a pool party. The speakers are blasting, coffins and headstones lined in neon, beach balls bouncing everywhere, and over at the dance floor the Nosferatu are splashing around happily in inflatable pools filled with suspicious looking red liquids. Who says only humans get to enjoy summer?

Summerfest is close to an end, but forget to grab the the fun-gear for your Summer. The image above was inspired by Schadenfreude's fun inflatable pool, bat wing inner tubes and floating drink holders. All them come with a hud to change the colors combinations in many ways, and their materials catch a perfect plasticky look in the light. The floating drink holder and ring, will slowly turn on the water for a realistic floating effect. The inner tube also comes in a Vehicle version, so you can race around and terrorize your neighbors in your own floating batmobile. There is a wearable ring, and floating ring and inner tube both have poses  build into them. The skull shaped inflatable pool can change its colors and even do a sugar skull texture versions. And you can change the water color from white, blue, pink, toxic green or of course red.  On the floor are beautiful Triton beach towels with poses from Balaclava.  From S16B, I picked up the cool Tootime club skybox by Anxiety for 30% off. Also from Anxiety are the neon gravestone group gift, and the neon coffin from the Cult gacha. The finishing touch of neon wireframe palm trees are from Foxcity.

WINTERS HALLOW: Fear is for the winter

Who here is hyped for the final season of Game of Thrones? Me me me me!  I was inspired make a Whitewalker for this post by the awesome Deadly Nightshare Nityr's Staff on sale at the appropriately dark Winter's Hallow. It throws out some badass effects in mesh and particles, and you can send your friends flying off the sim with a good blast. hahaha Good times. Also shown above are a new Talon claws by Contraption at equal10. They were updated for Belleza Jake 2 too. They come with a hud to change the textures. Also shown by Contraption is the Ice Beast mesk and horns. To see just how cool it looks with its icey materials, turn on advanced lighting and have at least one local light. For some more ice, I used Izzie's body glitter tattoo over the beautiful Fallen Gods' Winter Nymph texture for men. I love the color of it! The rest of my Whitewalker outfit items are the PFC Iron Arms, and imho the best kilt for men on the grid, Cult's Male kilt with boots. it comes with a texture hud for the kilt and boots, black, denim and grey. I Dream of Djinni

STORYLINE: Three wishes, that was what most people thought the purpose of the Djinni was, to serve a master and grant wishes. But in truth, only a captured few Djinni did such a thing. Djinni Ajoj was happy to use his power to conjure such lovely things as dancer for only him to enjoy deep in the heart of the desert.

Sword of the Kōmori Daiyoukai

STORYLINE: The Nightfang was a powerful sword. He could feel the energy pulsing in it. But like so many things in life, his father's favorite weapon didn't come with an instruction manual. Years would pass as he experimented with the it, trying to tease out its secrets. Then one day while strolling through a battlefield littered with the fallen, a butterfly landed on the sharp edge of the blade unharmed. Then more butterflies came to rest on it as if it was perfectly natural for butterflies to suddenly be smitten with a deadly metal. Thats when he realized those were no ordinary butterflies, they were the Jigokuchō, or the hell butterflies that come to collect the souls of the dead. Surely this was a major clue to Nightfang's ultimate attack.

I used a combination of the Enji and Shiro for this outfit, paired with the Enji Geta. Hey, it wouldn't be me if I didn't make a twist to this look; Hot Pink Latex Tabi? Obi on the Shoulder? Have you lost your mind, Dev? Maybe. lol I love how this turned out.  The AIR butterfly gacha is fun, when you walk an exact duplicate of your butterfly will rez around you in a particle effect. Pretty cool. In the set, the screens by katat0nik are mod, so they can all be tinted whatever color you like. The hanging lanterns are by Who What and include animating goldfish inside. .... Speaking of awesome, and japan... the Kagami event has opened. I look forward to seeing you all dressed up for another adventure game this year. See you there!

Tomb of the Kōmori Daiyoukai

STORYLINE: He inhaled deeply the smoke of the serpent pipe. As he exhaled, the snake at the tip hissed out smoke trails. He watched it lazily meander towards a nearby rockface. The pipe was a prized relic of the Kōmori clan. It was not of this world, it belonged to the spiritworld. It's smoke was being sucked toward a heavy spiritual presence nearby. There must be hidden cave. "Father," he smiled. "At last I found you." Once inside the cave, he discovered the massive fallen skeleton of his father, its batwings still stretched out, as if he might fly away at any moment. Beside it impaled in a pile of skulls, was the gleaming legendary katana of his father. Smoke swirled around it. The pulsing power emanating from the sword gave him goosebumps. He climbed up the pile of bones and lovingly withdrew his birthright. "Nightfang" he whispered to it as it were his lover, "So nice to meet you at last."

The idea of this post was inspired by one of my favorite animes.  The pipe, tattoo, hairsticks, and pants you can find at Japonica. The Bento wings are part of the brand new Linden Labs Bento starter avatars, and the bento tail is by Murder of Ravens. The giant skeleton is part of the Cureless gacha at Epiphany.
