Cyber Fair: Attack of the Cursed ANGEL

STORYLINE: The beeping started as a faint whisper in the background, a rhythmic pulse that barely registered against the cold hum of the underground bunker. The kidnappers, hardened men of the underworld, paused, their nerves fraying as the sound grew louder.

Then a flash. White-hot, like a snapshot searing into their retinas. The leader, a scarred brute named Korbin, cursed and reached for his weapon.

"What the hell was that?" one of his men muttered, his grip tightening on his rifle.

Before anyone could answer, the distant chaos began. Gunfire echoed through the tunnels. The sharp cries of dying men pierced the stale air. The unmistakable sounds of destruction, shattering glass, collapsing walls, the screech of metal being torn apart, crept closer.

Korbin spun toward the android they had chained to the rusted chair in the center of the room. RED, their prize, their leverage, merely smiled. A synthetic face sculpted to perfection, eyes gleaming with something almost… amused.

"The Cursed Angel is coming," RED said, voice smooth as silk but laced with eerie certainty.

Korbin felt his stomach twist into knots. He had heard the stories. Whispers in the dark about an entity that moved like a ghost, struck like a demon, and left nothing but corpses in its wake.

"No," he growled, grabbing RED by the collar. "Tell me the truth! What's coming for us? Tell me before we all die!"

RED tilted its head, expression unreadable. Then, with almost reverent quiet, it spoke: "Its a symbiotic relationship, a Trinity. Kujo caged an ancient evil. The last of its kind. You see, starvation can bring even the strongest monster to its knees."

Before Korbin could demand more, the world exploded. The side of the bunker disintegrated in a burst of fire and debris. Dust choked the air, and through the settling smoke, an eerie glow seeped in, a burning light that silhouetted the towering figure standing in the wreckage.

The Cursed Angel stepped forward, slow, deliberate. His long regal cape billowed in the rush of hot air, his heavy exoskeleton boots crunching over the shattered remains of the bunker’s defenses. And then he snarled, the baring long, gleaming fangs.

Korbin’s blood ran cold.

RED’s voice cut through the chaos, steady as ever. "The Father acquires. The Son is the sacrifice. And the Holy Ghost is their protector." 

Korbin barely had time to scream.

This post is inspired by my very first cyberpunk blog post, and it started with an idea: Would vampires die out in the future as they don't change but human do. With technology, cyberizations and genetic engineering, would humans still be easy to hunt, and would they even still be compatible to the vampire's diet? 

 ...The halo on the Cursed Angel is by Rozoregalia. Touch it to shift between 3 colors, fullbright, and resizes.  ...The stunning red armor, Infermun Viel, is by Bison. It includes a sinister tall hood and scary robotic mask, and animated LED glows. It comes in several color themes, but red is my favorite. ... Adding to the magical vibe are the animated the Energy lines by Amadeus which swirl around the arms and shoulders. ...The face mask is by SOLE, and there are several texture versions available. ...Flying close by, is the Cursed Angel's helper, the Jellybot. I used the cool WWII texture for the bot. You can find it in the fatpack. The bot is Animesh and can fidget in place, or float around. ...The big plasma gun by RekTrevor is super cool. It shoots a massive blast with impressive details in smoke and spiraling sparks. It includes several animations for both men and woman, (draw, hold, reload, fire, stance) and you can change out the gun's textures too. ... The moody cybertatstic setting is by Zeroichi. I loved that it was mod and I could move around a few things for my pictures.

STORYLINE: As snowflakes drifted downward to the icy shores of Hokkaido, Tsuru hiked into the deep snow, going further and further until she spotted what she sought, -- the elegant Red Crowned Cranes. She smiled at their hopping and fluttering wings. Their mating ritual inspired her to don the crane's colors and join them. Maybe if these mystical creatures  liked her dance enough, they would grant her wish for the coming new year.

Gothical: A Light in the Darkness

STORYLINE: "Come into the light," a man's voice spoke softly to Little Bunny. Who was he? Why did she feel so terrible? The last thing she remembered was eating and drinking too much at the Princess Layla's Taste of October party. Her eyes flickered open, and she immediately regretted it. "No... it burns!" The man was holding her tenderly. She would have protested but she felt so weak. "Don't be afraid," he said. "I'm an Exorcist. I've dealt with the Princess. She won't harm you again, at least not until next October. She is banished for now. Sadly, I was not able to stop all her designs. Your life will be different now." Bunny shook her head, "What do mean. I don't understand." The man laid her down gently. "I'm sorry to deliver such sad news. You have been bitten by the Nosferatu. But I will help you, if you trust me."

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

There's a lot to do for Halloween in SL, just check the Destination Guide, but one you may not know about is the Hakoniwa sim event, by Yazoo Rang and Aslan, veteran creators of many past excellent adventures like Horror Night. Gothical: A Taste of October

STORYLINE: When the leaves change color, the sun dips lower, and the harvest is all gathered, it means only one thing to Little Bunny, -- Princess Layla's annual "A Taste of October" party! Her fluffy cotton tail perked up as she hopped all the way to dark gothic castle that loomed over the otherwise sunny town. Yes, Princess Layla was mysterious. No one had ever seen her leave the castle, not even to stroll the castle gardens, but Bunny paid no attention to that. She loved dressing up for the formal party and eating all the delicious food! The Princess was a very gracious host. Bunny was almost drooling by the time she knocked on the giant arched doors of Castle Hart. ...Who knows, maybe this year, the Princess would notice her!

The second round of Gothical has begun. I dearly love Elegant Gothic Lolita, and Elegant Gothic Aristocrat styles. As an Alum from RMK Gothic events, I'm delighted to see this genre, which is dear to my heart, return to SL. The Pleasure Palace: The Opium's Curse

STORYLINE: There was defeat in victory. The Cursed A.N.G.E.L was bleeding badly. He needed blood, lots of it. He was delirious. He had already ripped EVA limb from limb, and still he battled on. He attacked spectators blindly, but the blood of genetically engineered humans could not satisfy him. The thirst drove him to more and more horrific acts of violence. Standing calm in sea of screeching people was a man with a dart gun. He knew the Cursed A.N.G.E.L's weakness. A dart soon found it's mark, and the A.N.G.E.L collapsed. ..."Opium. God, why did it have to be opium?" he moaned. He hated that crap. Opium cursed him. If only he hadn't been so damn high on that moonless night long ago, he would have realized from where that bump-in-the-night came, and ran like hell.

Now a little more about what we are wearing. Aarya returns to BishieStyleSL for a cameo as the vampiress who created the Cursed A.N.G.E.L. I wish her a speedy recovery from surgery and hopefully she can return to blogging soon. Her outfit is by Barerose, hair by Truth, skin by Glam Affair, and pet Shiro is a gacha by Aii. ... You'll have to forgive me for mixing styles here. The Ao Dai by Barerose comes with pants, but who needs those? *throws away* lol Besides, look at these excellent shoes by BOOM. They have a materials' suede look to them you can see in advanced lighting. They are sale at Collabor88 for only 88L and come in girls and guys and many colors options. The Runaway hair Darcy is from Manga Fair. I love the bangs, and though it's meant for girls, it works perfectly on the guys too! The smoking pipe is fun older item by Rozoregells and it contains several poses with the pipe, like I used above. The dark headdress is from Latex Web and was past gift. I combined it with the TAMA Japanese Lantern hairsticks from a past Genre round. The pearl necklace is from Monster and has several strands. It comes with a resize script. The arm wraps are by Dark Prophet Designs from a past Fantasy Gacha. ... ok, I will be bringing you more of the ongoing story from Cursed A.N.G.E.L, and more great things from ROMP!

2065: Battle Bots 1

STORYLINE: He failed as a security guard, and flopped as a Rock Star. So what does a pissed off starving vampire gotta do to sip that sweet, sweet Eden nectar anyway? Fight to the death with a Battle Bot is what! The Underworld's kingpin, Kujo, made the Cursed A.N.G.E.L. an offer he couldn't refuse; Duke it out with the reigning Battle Bot champ and if he wins, be rewarded with his very own Eden to nibble on whenever the mood suits him, and if he fails they'll be sure to sweep his guts off the floor into a nice bucket to feed Kujo's dogs. No doubt the Lords of Mars would gamble on the fight like the obscenely rich bastards they are. He didn't have much of a choice. Besides, he was cocky enough to think he could actually win. Battle Bots had replaced humans in the brutal sport over a century ago, but in the underworld, humans still boxed. Lucky for him, he found a great trainer.

STORYLINE: Coach Tora was an ex-light weight female boxing champ once known as "Tora the Fierce" before retiring. She convinced the Cursed A.N.G.E.L there was a way to beat a Battle Bot using what she claimed was the "Android Blind Spot."

Joining me for the first time on Bishie Style SL is my good friend Kariritaisho. She was a great help and didn't mind at all when I took a few swipes at her. lol  She is wearing adorable Dino Dozer hoodie by Razor and the Regulator boots by Razor. MensWear Fashion Week ends May 3rd, and by special request, here are two more pictures of some fantastic menwears. Pictured above is an outfit that is so very me, like a proper English Gentleman with a hint of vampirism. lol You can get the Dynasty hat, vest, and shoes at MWFW. The Charlie outfit by Zanze is adorable and I could not resist to show you guys. You can wear this style as a schoolboy, or dressed up for summer. I added the bowtie with spikes by Zanze. It comes with a color hud to add tints. The hair is a great new style by Damselfly at the Fantasy Gacha. It opens May 4th. The glasses are by Gos and you can wear them as glasses like I did here, or shades. Just touch the glasses and change the frame, shealth, lens color and opacity. I finally got a chance to use these DECO wingtip shoes, they work great for a bookish look here. The nails are a free polish you can find at the new location of A:S:S. The skin and slink applier for hands are Sean Tone 3 by Tableau Vivant.

Christmas In The Caribbean

Last year I did a series on different Christmas traditions around the world to honor my friends. This year, I'm bringing it back! The first image is for my friend from Barbados. He says they make an excellent Black Rum Fruit Cake for Christmas and if you do it right, it will last a whole year! He sent me a link to the song, "Christmas In The Caribbean" by a local Barbados band. (Hey maybe Rihanna should cover this? -^ )

I'm from Florida. So shorts, palm trees, beaches and seagulls are much closer to my Christmas than parkas, Christmas trees, snow, and reindeer! lol. I took this picture at the awesome sims of Las Islas that recreate the feel of the Caribbean. I love it! It feels so much like home to me!

Above I am wearing the cool new dreads and cap by Tableau Vivant available at Collabor88. It comes with a color hud for changing dread and cap color. There is also a smooth textured version that comes in all the standard T.V. colors. The super cool makeup is by Lovely Disarrey from the Invitation Only Hunt. The leather jacket, Dean, comes from FateWear and it includes leather materials. The metal collar is by Rozoregalia. And lastly, for my impractical beachwear needs, the rare dalmatian fur coat from the Curio Obscura gacha. lol

Bunny and Stag

Many great new things to show you today. First up, these two new mesh chairs, Bunny and Stag by Tableau Vivant, are at the 2nd Anniversary of Collabor88. The theme is 1920s. I love this time period!  So many fantastic items. Keep trying to get in, so much coolness going on there. The T.V. chairs can change light wood to dark, and 5 fabric colors are in the event theme color palette. Bunny uses the girl palette, and Stag uses the guy palette. On the right, our elegant, yet powerful Stag girl is wear the new ruffle dress by Ambrosia. It also comes in green, blue, pink, and white pokadot. The dress includes a matching hairbow and bow at the front of dress. We are both wearing the new WTG rings, nails, and bracelets B&C Jewels for girls and guys. They come with a nice hud that will resize to any size hand shape! Fantastic. This huge mane for hair that says, "King of Jungle" is called Leah by Alice Project and it's available at the current round of the Zodiac. The outfit I have on is by the Black Carney. I am still crossing my fingers the entire store will come back online. But until then you can pick some highlighted items at RMK Gothic.

EVENT: Boats & Bikinis Expo + Luggage Hunt

Today is the last day of another fun expo from Sand and Sea folks, the Boats and Bikinis Expo. This event has the theme French Riviera. Along the perimeter are shops with swimwear, decor, and furniture, and in the center are the docks. In the boats area, you can jump on and test drive a few models or explore. There is even staff there at JP Collection to answer your questions. Oceania has five free collectible plushies for the event, including a Jumbo shark! (Be sure to explore around to find them all.) The Luggage Hunt:
To begin the luggage hunt, go to the City of Hanalei Office of Tourism. Touch this pile of luggage. Your challenge is to find all the missing luggage through out the sim. Read the local chat and follow the directions. Each person will have a different hunt path. The store you are looking for will be in all caps, like "TUFF." To help on hunt, there are sign posts with a handy teleports for all the store locations. There are many fantastic swimsuits for the ladies, while the guys can enjoy boat prizes and nice beach theme decore. Happy Hunting gang!  ... p.s. the store Capricious is not the sign board. You can find it next to the Aphrodite Shop.

The hair is from the 1st Act lucky boards, and I turned up the volume by tinting it for a more intense fuscia. Femboy Hunt Winter 2013, part 1

The Femboy Hunt - Winter 2013 has begun! This hunt has something for everyone: girls, guys, and anything in-between, even other species like elves and furries.
