Midnight Order: Merlin's Secrets

STORYLINE:  As part of our Camelot Exposed series, we here at Midnight Magazine want to shift focus to a well hidden power behind the scenes. No one really thinks much about Merlin. He’s the advisor to the King, and mentor of the White Knight. He’s always busy with the dull tasks of keeping the Kingdom running. And he’s just so cheerful, its annoying! Well, that should have been our first clue he is not as he appears. Our investigative journalists did an incredible job unmasking Merlin as none other than the Golden Knight from the Age of Ruins. Merlin is the true architect of Camelot of the Night in concept as well as stone. Midnight Magazine would love to know more of Goldie’s juicy secrets! Just what kind of game is this ancient being playing??

In the setting, is the Lestat Sconce by Candle & Cauldron. To change the texture, click the lamp and hold a few seconds then release for the popup menu. Lights can be turned on and off. Linden Home Challenge 4, Fall 2017

For the Fall issue of Prim Perfect magazine, I return for the Linden Home Challenge, but this time with a twist! Instead of decorating indoors, I convert my Linden home into a relaxing Japanese garden with a spectacular view of Linden Japan.

What is the Linden Home Challenge?
Simply put: Decorate a Linden home with a budget of 175 prims, but without spending more than 1500L.

RMK Frost Fair: The Queen's Arrival

He let me play with his Nu'ville loot (the blood bag and Bunnicula), and I showed him where the RMK renewal gifts were like AIR's Rabbit Monocle, and the Frozen Night rigged mesh black collar. Now let me tell you more about items I am wearing. The Retro Military coast by Kauna is a must have and you can tint it whatever color you want. Like all of Remarkable Oblivion's creations, the Necromancer Crown is another fantastic item to own. It's like a little piece art sitting on your head. The Blood Bank Bag is actually rigged mesh you wear and carry with you. There is cool sippy straw from the bag to your mouth. Love it. Haunts of Halloween: Plan 9 from Outer Space

STORYLINE: The son of The Great Tyrant was beautiful like his father, an angel, but he had a wicked heart like his mother. He set eyes on conquering the homeworld of Barbarella, one screaming fangirl at a time.

Triple stars for you rock trivia fans who name the alludes in the image above: movie, band, and guitarist. For the Oh Hair by Tableau Vivant and I used pink in the Equinox pack for Visual Kei look. The jacket by Kuana I got at FaMESHed and should be in the mainstore soon. The cool neckwarmer by Shi is at Collabor88, as well as the color change ankh rings by Maxi Gossamer. The Circa ring is an animated spider in the gacha at HorrorFest. I'm wearing the handy Frozen Night shorts again, but this time I am wearing mesh stocking from Sn@tch. RMK Halloween: The Pumpkin Prince 1

STORYLINE: As you work on catching "rain" to make sweet treats, the ghosts chat with you. You merely touch a skull, grinning ghost, or a jack-o-lantern and begin to tell you funny things, or drop helpful tips. But sometimes the ghosts gossip. They tell you something odd about a person called, "Pumpkin Prince."

For RMK Halloween I have some tips for you hunters. First, if you make toxic candy (a skull-n-crossbone) it's okay. You didn't make a sweet treat, but you can still give it to a ghost. There is one that will gladly take it from you and clear your hud so you can try again! You have to find the ghost that accepts your toxic creations! Second, if you win a premium ticket you can use it at the store of your choice, but you can only redeem it once, just like all the other tickets. You may even want to use this valuable ticket as a trading tool. For example, say one hunter cannot get that last missing ticket, and you need 4 more. You can make a great trade, your one ticket, for 4 of the other hunter's extras. Everybody wins! You can do the trades in the Trading Table area or use the RMK Sim group. Good luck!

Now a little more about the outfit. The suit by Frozen Night can be won at RMK Halloween. It comes with a black necktie and a striped one. It can worn by either girls or guys. The parasol I won at OMG Gacha, it's the rare pumpkin style! Adorable!

Haunts of Halloween: The Undertaker

STORYLINE: The Undertaker had seen a lot of death. So much so he became obsessed with creating artificial life. He was fond of medical experiments on the dearly departed, and even believed if could capture memories of dead, photograph it if you will, then he could create a soul. But his dreams were impossible. He was quite mad.

Several things here from the current round of FaMeshed. The Tableau Vivant Beaumont hair is a sleek long rigged hair that is perfect for wearing under hat, or wearing prop like the Photographer's Eye by Remarkable Oblivion. Death Row has several fun things at FaMeshed like the face spider (soo creepy!), and fun top hat. The hat and spider are separate meshes, so I edited DaddyLongLegs a bit lower on the hat. The Pumpkin head is a fantastic group gift by Remarkable Oblivion and comes in 2 styles. The coat I am wearing is fun hunt prize by Absolutely Smitten for Men in the Sleepy Hallow hunt. You can't see it in this post, but I am wearing the perfect eyes for Halloween by Souzou Eien. They flicker like a candle in a pumpkin and really give you the feeling it's time for treat-or-treating. The shorts are Frozen Night's winter suit shorts for boys. This is a fun trick because the boy sized shorts work perfectly below a long coat with no poke out of the back! The system pants below them are from The Little Bat. The nail polish is a wearbable demo By Snow, and you pick up other colors if you want. And lastly, my kooky kool kind of Lincoln look is finished off with my much beloved Lassitude & Ennui rigged mesh suede boots.

Bunny and Stag

Many great new things to show you today. First up, these two new mesh chairs, Bunny and Stag by Tableau Vivant, are at the 2nd Anniversary of Collabor88. The theme is 1920s. I love this time period!  So many fantastic items. Keep trying to get in, so much coolness going on there. The T.V. chairs can change light wood to dark, and 5 fabric colors are in the event theme color palette. Bunny uses the girl palette, and Stag uses the guy palette. On the right, our elegant, yet powerful Stag girl is wear the new ruffle dress by Ambrosia. It also comes in green, blue, pink, and white pokadot. The dress includes a matching hairbow and bow at the front of dress. We are both wearing the new WTG rings, nails, and bracelets B&C Jewels for girls and guys. They come with a nice hud that will resize to any size hand shape! Fantastic. This huge mane for hair that says, "King of Jungle" is called Leah by Alice Project and it's available at the current round of the Zodiac. The outfit I have on is by the Black Carney. I am still crossing my fingers the entire store will come back online. But until then you can pick some highlighted items at RMK Gothic.

Captured Butterfly

STORYLINE: She spent her charmed life like a butterfly, flitting gently from one nightclub to next. She was a beautiful songstress with the voice of an angel. She was never for want of money or love. She seemed to have the best luck. That is, until one stormy night she stepped into the Peacock Hotel never to be seen again. No one knows what happened that night. She is presumed dead, but her body was never found. Even today on dark stormy nights, the ghosty voice of this captured butterfly can be heard once again echoing in the halls.

Is this hat by Frozen Hat cool or what? Love the spiderwebs and butterflies. It comes is several colors too. The dress is by Panda Express and was on last month's We Love Roleplay round for nice sale price. The inworld store has even more colors. Is this Madpea's Madcity sim goreious or what? Bunny in Cherry Dress Suit for Boys

The White Rabbit is back and showing you the new cherry linen and lace version of the Dress Suit for Boys from Frozen Night at RMK Gothic. The suit also comes in colors brown, green, red, purple, white, black, and blue. Included is a male shape on the female base, but for the image above I used my own male shape with dial settings adjusted to body fat 0, and leg muscle between 35-40. RMK Gothic Bunny Hunt: The Jack of Spades

STORYLINE: When Alice arrived at the entrance to Wonderland, she saw the Jack of Spades standing there gobbling down a tray full of strawberry jam tarts. He looked up startled, then roughly grabbed her arm. "Hey! What are you doing here!" But Alice was not a journalist to be manhandled by an overgrown piece of paper. With a well placed heel, she jabbed the foot of the card soldier.

At the Bunny Hunt landing point you can get a free Card Solider outfit. Just click on Humpty Dumpty. You can only draw an outfit once. The card solider outfits are random. The Aces are rare and have different color themes. The rarest is the black Joker with a white rabbit on the front. I have only seen one person so far with this rare Bunny!

Femboy Hunt Winter 2013, part 4

Today we will explore three stylized takes of Bosnian super model Andrej Pejic who has the amazing ability to model both male and female clothing. Going counter-clockwise through increasing degrees of cuteness:

On the left is my experimental take on Andrej. I am using Tableau Vivant skin Andrej and hunt prize hair Lythrum. Like a good model, he is showing us the new Epic Sweater from Epicosity which comes with a hud for changing 12 colors and 3 fabric patterns.

On the lower right is cute hunt prize Andrej by Aeva Heartsick that comes with 5 skin tones, options for brows and freckles, plus male shape for female base. This skin works great on the male base too! Glam makeup tattoo by Tori-Tastic. Both Visual Kei style hairs in blue are from Ayashi, the hunt prize is the darker blue.

On the upper right, the cuteness explodes with an adorable Chibi mesh avatar by Curious Kitties. Everything he is wearing is either a hunt prize or a freebie from the Curious Kitties store.

The Femboy Hunt - Winter 2013 has begun! This hunt has something for everyone: girls, guys, and anything in-between, even other species like elves and furries. Frost Fair RMK Gothic

As the planet warms slowly year after year, Jack Frost is under a lot of pressure. When asked to stretch his icy claw and freeze the Thames once more, he agrees in an unusually warm gesture of goodwill. What could cause this sudden Christmas spirit in his frigid heart?

RMK Gothic celebrates the holiday season by bringing back a piece of history. During the Little Ice Age of the 17th century and 18th century, the Thames River froze in the heart of London. People took advantage of this usual event and created a shopping festival on the river called the Frost Fair. Trick or Treat Event!

Fun for kids of all ages is the third annual Trick or Treat Event! by Larnia Kids, Beach Street, and Bebe Buttons. The trick-or-treat trail is nicely decorated and will definitely get you in the Halloween mood. As you go down the trail, click the numbered cauldrons for prizes. You'll run into many classic horror characters and scenes. ...Have fun kids, be back before dark, and dont forget to take a flashlight!

Haunted Cornfield Maze is an interactive trail through a corn maze. Follow the clues, find the candy corn, and have a seat at the campfire and listen to spooky ghost stories.

News Event: Halloween at RMK Gothic

Nobody throws a party like the talented folks at RMK Gothic. This is a "Must Do." It's not only just a Hunt for awesome prizes, its a Major Event with a lot of fun and games! You'll love it. Grab your partner and buddies and head over to RMK Gothic. You'll have a great time!

You begin your journey in the garden. Touch the storybook at the landing point for the HUD to start a quest to get back something very important to you that was stolen by a naughty spirit. Find the StoryTeller ghosts throughout the sim. Each ghost will send you on a quest. Some are easy, some take practice to get right (like skydiving), and some will have searching all over the sim tiny ghosts or pumpkins. There are 20 quests in all, each one is different. Once you complete a mission, you get a piece of what was stolen from you. 17 prizes are randomly dropped with gifts for girls and guys. And by the last quest, you will have earned a cool skeleton avatar! Dev highly recommends this event with two thumbs up.

BONUS: Devi's hunt tips:
1) Convert your avatar to the provided ghost one. You will be able to hunt much faster and combat sim lag since this is a hugely popular event and many people are there.
2) Take a friend, or make friends. Some challenges require two people to complete.
3) A wearable translator Hud will help you talk to non-English speaking people at the event.
4) If the sim is full, try coming in a less busy time such as 3pm SL.
5) If you run into trouble because of lag, go ahead and complete all quests. Use the white "POST" box next to the storyteller book at the landing. Be sure to keep your Hud! Event organizers will help you. Also the full skeleton is available on last quest.
