Midnight Order: Merlin's Secrets

STORYLINE:  As part of our Camelot Exposed series, we here at Midnight Magazine want to shift focus to a well hidden power behind the scenes. No one really thinks much about Merlin. He’s the advisor to the King, and mentor of the White Knight. He’s always busy with the dull tasks of keeping the Kingdom running. And he’s just so cheerful, its annoying! Well, that should have been our first clue he is not as he appears. Our investigative journalists did an incredible job unmasking Merlin as none other than the Golden Knight from the Age of Ruins. Merlin is the true architect of Camelot of the Night in concept as well as stone. Midnight Magazine would love to know more of Goldie’s juicy secrets! Just what kind of game is this ancient being playing??

Shown above is my Dark Camelot twist to Kaien Cross. From Midnight Order is the wonderfully gothic and holy Shattering Sun Halo by Oblivis Solem. Its animated and has texture options, or you can edit tint it how you like. From Quills & Curiosities, is the Jacquard Blouse which comes with a texture hud. Te Azrael Pants by AsteroidBox has fits for men and women and texture options. For more magical effects, are the RSS DarkAuraStaff with comes with wearable animated magical dust and sprites as well as the staff which comes with a hud to trigger an animation. In the setting, is the Lestat Sconce by Candle & Cauldron. To change the texture, click the lamp and hold a few seconds then release for the popup menu. Lights can be turned on and off. The skybox is by Spires Society and is wonderful gothic scene to drool over. Don't miss it! I hope you all enjoyed my Midnight Magazine idea. Maybe it will it will back in the future. Midnight Order : Haunted

STORYLINE: The moonlight glinted on the ripples of the Mississippi as I ducked into an overgrown secret garden on the bank. My presence was noticed, it was as if suddenly all the life of the bayou held its breath, terrified what I might do. They say it's never a good idea to bring back the dead. I'm proof of that. But how can I ignore what the scholars of the Dark Arts Academy revealed to me? Could they be trusted? Certainly not. My life is literally an open book. It would be simple for them to lure me in knowing my weaknesses. And yet, how I could I not try? She was my daughter....  Even as I cleared the decaying leaves from the wrought iron table for the spiritboard, I thought about what they said. It haunted my nightmares. A vampire is immortal. Even separated from its body, the soul continues to be bound to the Earth. I made quick work of filling the goblet with blood, and placing a belonging of hers, an old doll. Could she really be here, lingering in her favorite place to hide? Was she even her anymore?

RMK Halloween: The Magical Academy 1

STORYLINE: While the young students of the Ghost Academy struggled to control their brooms and fly through each gate on the course, their older classmates would preform trick stunts and often sent the rookies flying into thickets of thorns.

The idea for this outfit was one to match with the Magical Academy's schoolgirl's uniform (see image below). I used the new Preppy sweater and pants by Monso.   For the witch elements, I used my Rare Will o' Wisp win from Remarkable Oblivion' Witch Hats gacha last year. I have good news too, Remarkable Oblivion has a new series of witch hats coming out for this year at the Tag Gacha. It opens Oct 17th.  Working perfectly under the witch and with the cape, is the new group gift Huds Test Hair by Tableau Vivant. Tableau Vivant has just reopened it hair store with a brand new look, and completely new hair color huds!  Run go get the gift and play with all the many new cool colors! I picked this lovely strawberry blonde, it's my second favorite hair color after white. I'm so happy to finally have a nice strawberry color in SL!   The wand is part of the FATEplay's Henry outfit for the guys. The wand comes with a hud to trigger a spell cast animation. Working great with the pants, are the Deco wingtip shoes with socks. The cape is by Pucca Firecaster. It comes with an attachment to add a logo to the shoulders. In fact, monso tie has an add-on for logo also, I dropped on both Magical Academy logo. Fun! .... But I know what you guys really want to know, WHERE IS THAT BADASS BROOM?!! lol It's the prize by NeverWish at the RMK Halloween's Dream Gacha! It's unscripted and you can mod it. So you can tint it, resize it, or drop a script in it to make it fly. STORYLINE: Reiki was a freshman on her first ride on the broom. Instead of flying up, she went down right through the roof of the old theater!

Kemono and the M3 head by Utilizator are so cute, and work perfectly with the free school uniform, reminiscent of Kiki's Delivery Service. You don't need to play the games to get it, just go to the landing and touch Charolette's Raven to get it. The broom and poses are by Uncertain Smile, and you can win them at the Dream Gacha. The mod and skin are created by Mad Echo, and the eyes by Mad Echo are coming soon. The hair by LCKY was a Femboy Hunt prize last month. And the scarf is by Kariritaisho's own store, Hey Listen!
