Vampire Ballet: Black Souls, Red Cello

STORYLINE: In life, Kuro twins were child prodigies thrilling audiences with their skillful playing. But those happy times ended when a deranged fan tried to "steal" their talent one limb at a time. Their savior was a well-meaning vampire who fused their broken bodies to dolls. When the twins awoke, the shock was too much for them. Gone was their spirit. The sat mute, traumatized, as lifeless as the dolls they inhabited. But their savior never gave up. Their souls were music, and music would save them the way he never could. The years passed, then one day he heard a clumsy bow strike the strings of the cello. He was so happy. It was the break through he was hoping for. Slowly with much effort, the twins returned to the world. For their official coming out, they performed at the auditions for the Vampire Ballet. By the time they played their last note, there was not a dry eye, even among the stone cold hearts of the vampire. They got the standing ovation. This year, Kuro Twins would be the featured guests of the Vampire Ballet.

The excellent gothic lolita dress, Black Rose Witch by MelonBunny, I wanted to show you guys so much for RMK Halloween but time ran out on me. The good news is, you can pick it up now at the main store. For the doll, I am wearing the Kemono version but you can also get it in the default avatar size. It comes with dress, bow with skull collar, apron, petticoat, and bat wings. The cello by Souzou Eien is awesome! It comes with a hud to change the wood color, a version for decoration, and one you wear with bow and sit on the stool to trigger poses. It also comes with a badass coffin case that opens and closes and has the cello inside. The hat and cuffs are from the Remarkable Oblivion's Melancholy gacha which you can play at their main store. Ghosts of August, 3

STORYLINE: With her camera and photos confiscated, the schoolgirl left the spirit world empty-handed. Or so she thought. She began to see things: a shadow darted before her, a bright glowing orb in the corner of the room.... She was already on edge as she walked home. She looked up and saw a figure walking precariously along the edge of town's ancient tower wall. It appeared to be a woman who was ridged or maybe drunk. Then suddenly the lady slipped and fell. 

Nice things for Elegant Lolitas to enjoy this month! The new release from Rokumeikan, Attempted Suicide Doll, comes with shirt top, collar, bandages for the arms, skirt, underskirt, checkered stockings, hat, and a parasol with pose. The black and white textures with with stripes is really striking, and I love the nicely textured parasol. The creepy cool forked tongue by DownDownDown you can pick up at Kagami. Touch it and you can change the color to green, mint, blue, black, white, pink and red. It comes with materials for that extra slimly look. lol. DownDownDown also has a creepy super long tongue at Kagami. The tongues are unrigged mesh so you scale them and move them around, no problem. The Jinx hair is a current gift from Truth in pastel colors. It's a perfect Lolita hair. The face band is The Blues Hunt prize from Cubic Cherry. This beautiful doll head is one of several group gifts from DollCoco. These are the past mesh doll heads. The eyes come either fixed or closed.

STORYLINE: Horrified, the schoolgirl screamed and ran toward the lady only to discover it wasn’t a lady at all, -- it was a shattered doll. Its head rocked gently and a forked tongue flicked out of its mouth. Then the doll faded away as if nothing had been there at all. The cycle began again a few moments later when it reappeared to do its awkward waltz on the stone wall.

Trap makes it debut at We <3 Role Play this month. You can scoop up the Raven Wings on sale. They come in four poses and colors Silver/Bronze or White/Black. The DollCoco body was a past group gift from over a year ago. It worked perfectly with the retired doll heads. The old body is very thin and usually needs special clothes designed for it. In order for the doll to wear normal clothes, I removed the upper torso and created a simple prim neck. Wala!

STORYLINE: The Cursed A.N.G.E.L. thought he was well on his way to securing a hit song bound to attract an Eden. But his plans were foiled by a stupid pretty boy named NicNack. The guy was a rocking an retro-80s style as if he was born back then, and most likely was judging by his bleached pallor. The jerk stole his thunder when he whipped out a rival song targeting Edens called, "Your Blood is Mine." It shot straight to number one crushing his fledging effort. Oh how he hated that prick Nic.

Part two in the 2065 rock wars. This post was inspired by the outfit. When I put together the pieces, it reminded me of someone, so I went with it! lol NicNack is wearing the new California shades by Remarkable Oblivion available at the second year anniversary of the Men's Department. So many wonderful things are there, including the Cruising mesh gloves by O.M.E.N. The violet jacket and pants are both by No Salvation. You can score the jacket in the Sinister Goth Hunt. This month's theme is Vanity and the color is purple. Lots of fun things in this hunt. These awesome pants in a matching purple are in the 25 for 25 Hunt. Nic's hair is a wonderful subscriber gift from Argrace. The keytar is from Standby Inc's World Tour gacha. It comes in 2 versions, one that you rez and one you wear that triggers a playing animation. The Creeper shoes are unrigged mesh by Sugar. The Nova chair with materials by Trompe Loeil was from the space round of Collabor88. I looked all over for a link to where you can find it, but sadly it turns out to have been an event exclusive. The Dark Creature Kevin skin by Tableau Vivant was also an event exclusive to the Fantasy Collective. I took a gamble combining it with Glam Affair's newly released Horror/Frost series appliers for Slink hands and feet. They cost 95L each. It was close, but not close enough. The guys will have to wait for more Tableau Vivant Slink appliers to be released. This image was taken at the Reactor Room in Insilco.

Alice in RMK: March Hare

STORYLINE: When in Wonderland, if you want to find the March Hare, go look in the garden. She's often hovering near the garden party, sipping tea and nibbling on delicious cupcakes.

I'll be honest with you, I feel awkward when blogging things for the girls, but this Little Lolita has really grown on me. She's adorable. When I dropped by LCKY to pick up their nice Femboy Hunt hair, (see image below), I spotted this hair. During the open of Final Fantasy Fest there was an anime neko girl wearing it, and it looked amazing. She drew a crowd of guys around her who just stood there like idiots, watching her do adorable things like beat her friend with a cartoon hammer that made a cute Boing noise with each hit. lol. So naturally I thought this hair would be perfect for Little Lolita as the March Hare at RMK Gothic. Little Lolita's outfit and glasses are both from the Alice Market at RMK. This is an area of the sim that has store booths with items in the theme of Alice in Wonderland for sell. The dress by Ambrosia comes in black dot and pink, mint, or blue, and a Limited Edition RMK Gothic white and blue Alice version. These fun wonderland heart glasses "Doubt" by AIR are partial mesh, and you can edit them like I did to give it a slight tint. The antique collar is a gacha by Theater Chain at RMK and if you are lucky, you win the rare prize a full lolita outift Baby Christmas. And wrist cuffs are by LouLou&Co.

Helping me with the blog since the beginning is Fulli. As I look at this picture above I am struck with a realization that she looks very much like her mother here. Her mom was a professional model in her younger days, and now Fulli is a virtual model.  This skin by Glam Affair reminds her of her mother's look. Fulli's shape is her own creation and based on herself. Adding the elegant ladylike style of Ambrosia and you get a look that seems to have really gone back to her roots.

Bunny and Stag

Many great new things to show you today. First up, these two new mesh chairs, Bunny and Stag by Tableau Vivant, are at the 2nd Anniversary of Collabor88. The theme is 1920s. I love this time period!  So many fantastic items. Keep trying to get in, so much coolness going on there. The T.V. chairs can change light wood to dark, and 5 fabric colors are in the event theme color palette. Bunny uses the girl palette, and Stag uses the guy palette. On the right, our elegant, yet powerful Stag girl is wear the new ruffle dress by Ambrosia. It also comes in green, blue, pink, and white pokadot. The dress includes a matching hairbow and bow at the front of dress. We are both wearing the new WTG rings, nails, and bracelets B&C Jewels for girls and guys. They come with a nice hud that will resize to any size hand shape! Fantastic. This huge mane for hair that says, "King of Jungle" is called Leah by Alice Project and it's available at the current round of the Zodiac. The outfit I have on is by the Black Carney. World Goth Fair: The Spooky Kids

STORYLINE: The denizens of Cursed swirled around Little Black Hood. She noticed two kids popping something glowing in the thier mouths. Being an aspring cook, she was curious to know what it was. As she got closer, she noticed the delicious smell was exactly like her new secret ingredient! The girl tilted her head and grinned at her. "You want some?" The girl suddenly grabbed her hand, and two strange teens lead her down to the entrance of a cave. Scary looking soliders in red were guarding it. "No, over here. This way!" The boy tugged on her and pointed to a hidden opening. When she landed inside, she gasped. The cave was a marvel bioluminescent plants and animals. "We don't know what the Scarlet Rebellion is up to, but damn these mushrooms are good!" The boy stole a few and tucked them into his backpack. The girl leaned in close, her strange eyes sparking with mischief. "The rumor is these mushrooms are fertilized with the Blood of the Ancients." Suddenly gunfire erupted into the cavern. "Oh shit! Run!" A bullet whizzed past her. Little Black ran deeper into the cave until she heard no more sounds and it was completely black. Now what would she do?

STORYLINE: As Alice was strapped down into the guillotine, the White Rabbit burst into the room and whispered something in the Queen's ear. As he talked, her face grew redder and redder. She stormed over to the Jack of Spades and whipped back his long bangs, revealing a tale-tell smudge of strawberry jam on his cheek. "Come on," the White Rabbit untied Alice, and grabbed her hand. "Wait! Who are you? Why are you suddenly so big? Where are you taking me? Do you know tallhat?" "Not now," he grumbled, and looked around nervously. Then in a burst of speed, he dragged Alice behind him. In the distance, she heard the Queen bellow, "Off With His Head!"

RMK Gothic Bunny Hunt: The Jack of Spades

STORYLINE: When Alice arrived at the entrance to Wonderland, she saw the Jack of Spades standing there gobbling down a tray full of strawberry jam tarts. He looked up startled, then roughly grabbed her arm. "Hey! What are you doing here!" But Alice was not a journalist to be manhandled by an overgrown piece of paper. With a well placed heel, she jabbed the foot of the card soldier.

At the Bunny Hunt landing point you can get a free Card Solider outfit. Just click on Humpty Dumpty. You can only draw an outfit once. The card solider outfits are random. The Aces are rare and have different color themes. The rarest is the black Joker with a white rabbit on the front. I have only seen one person so far with this rare Bunny!

Tainted No More

Vonie may have survived Valentine's Day, but he was moping around. I told him somewhere out there was a nice girl who would accept him and his condition. "Believe me," I said, "I know it's not easy being a boy with a curse." He listened as I recanted my own experinces. When I was done, he announced he would make pilgrimage to the graves of our ancestors to pray for a miracle.

When Vonie came back, he excitedly told me about a beautiful girl he met crying in the garden. She looked so sad, he couldn't help but ask what was wrong. Although he was a stranger, she poured out her heart to him. She was grateful someone cared. The boys were mean to her. They pulled her hair and call her "Tainted." He could barely believe it when she shyly confessed her mother was a vampire. He immediately blurted his own "tainted" background. And then the most amazing thing happened, … she smiled.

I hope you liked the tainted series. Couldn't resist making a happy ending. lol. I am wearing the limited edition Valentines's version of the Epic Business Suit. The Red and Black Suit is no longer available, however you can scoop up this excellent suit in black, navy, brown, or grey. Each one comes with a nice texture change hud. You can play with the texture options in the inworld store by clicking on the different buttons on the display model. My posing partner is wearing the new dress from RokumeikaN named after her, Fuli. She was nervous about doing justice to the dress. I think she did great! Looks very cute. The Fuli dress is available in black, green, red, and white. The ribbon changes textures, just click on the bow to change colors.

Dolls of Christmas: Spain

The next destination for the Dolls of Christmas tour is Spain, home to my hysterical, talented, and big-hearted best friends at the sandbox. You awesome!

In Spain, Nativity scenes are very important. People compete for Best Nativity with large and elaborate displays. Figurines are big selling items and very collectable. Even famous people are made into figures you can add to your manger scene. My fun friends from Spain shocked me when they revealed just how important one particular figurine is to a successful nativity display. If you want good luck for the next year, you better have a Caganer!

Dolls of Christmas: Japan

Secondlife makes it possible meet and grow close to many people around the world, even those who dont speak the same language! With the help of translators and being able to "show" instead of "tell," it becomes possible to communicate in ways text based social networks can't. This Christmas I would like to celebrate the season by honoring my friends and their Christmas Traditions.

First up are the clever, ambitious, and talented folks from RMK Gothic who named their new Christmas Tailcoat after me. I feel humbled and amazed! They tell me many interesting things about Christmas in Japan. The biggest surprise is Kentucky Fried Chicken. They must make a reservation for their Christmas KFC chicken months in advance! It's just not Christmas in Japan without the Colonel.
