Fantasy Faire 2021: Khol Dracys

STORYLINE: Red embers drifted upwards in the smoke choked red sky above the hidden Canyon of Khol Dracys. Above the sound of the roaring wildfire, a bellowing screech suddenly echoed off the rocky cliffs. A terrifying sound not heard in over a thousand years. Villagers huddled tightly together in the town's central circle. A man towering over them on the village's sacred stone of the dead, shouted "Behold a dragon born of fire and ash!" He was dressed in the royal colors of House Targaryen. The villagers looked nervously at the eerie red flames consuming their homes, and then at strange animated bones of the long dead dragon, before returning to their unwelcome visitor who most certainly dug up the bones of the dragon their ancestors had slayed a millennia ago. What witchcraft was this? More importantly, how does one defeat something already dead? The mad Targaryen began to dance wildly to a tune only he heard, "Fire cannot kill a Dragon!" he said, and then repeated it many times. "Fire cannot kill a Dragon!" 

The Fantasy Faire is stunning this year, even bigger than last year with 20 sims!  And I'm happy to tell you the Shopping Guide has been updated based on all the feedback from past years. As always, I'm so happy to help out on the catalog. This year I cataloged Khol Dracys, the fun Dragon and Dinosaur sim created by Wanders Nowhere of Prehistorica. The image above is inspired by Khol Dracys, the viking themed items on Fallen God's sim Valahlla, and leaked images of the upcoming House of the Dragon series on HBO. (Can't wait!) The Dragon and Stone monument are gifts from the Faireland Quest, part 1, Language of Birds.

Linden Home Challenge 4, Fall 2017

For the Fall issue of Prim Perfect magazine, I return for the Linden Home Challenge, but this time with a twist! Instead of decorating indoors, I convert my Linden home into a relaxing Japanese garden with a spectacular view of Linden Japan.

What is the Linden Home Challenge?
Simply put: Decorate a Linden home with a budget of 175 prims, but without spending more than 1500L.

The Little Fountain Visitor

STORYLINE: A mist rolled slowly into the sleeping village. Tomorrow would be a buzz of activity during the summer festival, but for tonight the air was calm with only an occasional cricket chirp, or croak of a lonely frog. Stalking silently in the tall grass was the Little Lion, protector of the village. It was hard work keeping the rats away so the big event would run smoothly, but quiet moments like this made it worth it for the tiny fierce hunter. She sprung up with ease on top of her favorite place, the rock water fountain in the garden. From her perch, the Little Lion surveyed her territory. Then smiled in her own catlike way for a job well done, and took a drink.

Dream of the Little Kuro Oni

STORYLINE: A kite sailing high above the summer festival hid a tiny passenger. The Kuro Oni was small, but ambitious. He practiced everyday throwing shuriken and training. As he spied on the villagers below, he saw two clever kistunes trying to pass themselves off as humans. They were holding a contest to find the strongest man of the village. They were promising the winner a fabulous prize. He wondered what mischief they were up to, but with them having strong magic, he couldn't help but daydream the kitsunes might make his dream come true. He wanted more than anything in the world to become a celebrated Ninja like his big brother.
