HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE! This year has been a strange one, very fitting my "costume" this year is a cute Grey Alien by Hotdog at the Necrotize event. The Halloween goodies and gifts are by Circa, Schadenfreude, and Vespertine.
STORYLINE: 20 years ago, when Lars was a kid watching dinosaur movies and happily munching on popcorn, he never imagined how different the world would become. It wasn't just the climate that returned to the Hothouse Earth, but the giant reptilian rulers of that era were back too. So here he was, all grown up, in Antarctica, sweating his ass off, while barely hanging onto a raging Velociraptor as it attacked an old muscle car. What a time to be alive, right? Humanity was at war with itself over the last remaining land safe to live on. He was on team Harmony, and the others... well, let's just say they and their gas guzzling cars were in denial. There was no way to turn back time.

The Home and Garden Expo this year has must-see attractions such as a preview of the NEW mesh Linden Homes for premium members, and the rideable animesh Teegle Horse, as well as excellent hunt goodies including a car in the Expo Hunt, speakers and workshops, not to mention purchasable homes, decor and garden items to support the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. ...And then there is what has kept me busy the past week....
It's even bigger and better this year! 16 winners drawn in a lottery compete to decorate 1 of 16 different style homes. There's a 500 prim limit and 1 week to decorate. Once the decorating period ends, the houses are voted on by visitors by paying the Kiosk in front of each house. All money goes to a good cause.
This year, I took the feedback I received from last year's competition, and applied it to this year. I paid extra attention to the garden, land impact, lived-in decor, and staying on theme with the style of the home. It's an intense challenge. Each time I try it, my decorating skills improve. Hey, ...Why not try it yourself next year?

Storyline of house: Louis couldn't believe it. He had been a lowly art student in America, but after taking a DNA test and working on his family tree, the most unlikely thing happened.... Long story short, he inherited the family's ancestral home in France. It was fully furnished too. But there was one catch to his ownership, -- he was the estate's new caretaker. If he failed to properly maintain the cottage, someone else would get the job. Sounds like a dream come true, right? Well, he learned quickly its neither easy nor cheap to maintain such an old building. So many things required urgent repair. He needed to find a way to make money quickly. At first he tried offering tours of the home, then he tried opening the house for weddings. Then one day while working in his secret artist's studio in the attic, inspiration struck. His pet cat Gigi made the most curious pose. It reminded him of a famous painting. He quickly started a remake of this masterpiece, but with a cat instead of a person. His whimsical Cat Paintings were a hit with tourists. They were selling in Paris, and he had the waiting list of patron to paint each of their cats in their own famous painting. He was never hurting for money again. The family was so impressed, they decided his most famous painting would become a permanent part of the family estate. It would become the duty of the next generation to protect his painting, his legacy, along with the rest of the family estate.
TIP: Sometimes you may need to be creative over a home issue. For instance, the neighboring house has a very different style. To keep the mood and theme of my home visually intact, I used a simple one prim wall with an excellent medieval brick texture on the sides of my home. ...Another creative solution I used was use a teleport system to access areas not reachable by walking. TIPS: Link objects to save prims. Do it to ONLY to non-scultped, no script, or items that contain no poses and animations. And do NOT try this with your non-copy Gacha wins. You could explode the prim count on the item and be unable to fix it.

"It's perfect for my next video," he licked his lips. "Wine, roses, and an orgy of flesh." The old man shuddered as if a cold wind had just blow down the dark stone hall. The rockstar's pleasant demeanor suddenly dropped, "You think me a monster, Monsieur Gustave? It's simple, I like what I like, and I will have it. No tale of a curse will dissuade me." The collars are based on real antiques. I'm holding the beautiful dragon sculpture for the men and its not just form, it had has scripts too, and comes in 4 varieties. If you have ever worn a mask, you know it helps to wear some dark makeup around the eyes. Over at the new new round of Genre are some brilliant makeups for men based on RuPaul's drag race. I used the Sharon (she is the coolest). In the background are two beautiful sculptures by Culprit and also rubber chair is also by Culprit. The chair includes single, couple, and adults poses. On the wall is Capturado set by Artisan Fantasy. I love wrought iron, so I am loving this elegant set. From The Kawaii Project is the Romance tattoo by Love. Long cigarette by Nikotin. Nipple piercing by Haus of Darcy, Pants applier by Muse, and the awesome Thigh high spatz boots for men by Schadenfreude. The setting is the rare Paris Loft by Apple Fall.
STORYLINE: The elderly man guided his unassuming grey roadster down a gravel path. His passenger was a wealthy American rock star traveling incognito. He was paid well to secretly escort the strange youth to the crumbling castle of the Marquis d'Auvergne, but he sincerely dreaded going to that haunted place. "Le château est maudit," he shook his head sadly. "Oh, cursed you say?" a delighted grin curled across the lips of his passenger. The lad spoke French, but it was an odd dialect his old ears could barely comprehend. It was easier his patron used English instead. "I sense there is an entertaining story behind this so-called curse. Tell me everything."
This amazing French castle by Death Row was just begging for a twist that I'm sure vampire aficionados will appreciate. *wink* The french style castles are my absolute favorites. This castle is the rare in the Mystic Bastion gacha. Inside this massive castle there are 10 rooms. From the main purple hallway you can go to the stain glass staircase, turn right to the grey hallway to the green bedroom, and library. Then climb the stairs to the 3rd level brown room, and washroom. Take the green hall and stairs up to the 4th level's bedroom and balcony. From the left of entryway is the ballroom. You will need a plot size around 64 x 128 to rez it and 1100 free prims. The gacha is also stuffed with many other wonderful gothic goodies. Other gacha items in the image are: the Roadster by Consignment, Paris suitcases by Apple Fall, Nikotin cigarette, and the new outfit gacha by Gabriel on sale at The Epiphany. The Ryleigh hair by Truth I'm in love with, it's the best body wave hair I have seen in SL, and it works perfectly for the men. The back is cut up higher so it works great with jacket collars. It's marked down for the 12 Days of Savings in the marketplace. The nails and locket .Shi necklace was from the past Bluebeard round of Enchantment. It's a very cool design, and one of the items recently on sale recently at .Shi for their anniversary. The goggles were a past hunt prize by Kumaki but you can find similar styles in their mainstore. Are you wishing you had some nice gloves for your MeshProject body? Swagga has you covered with the new Leather Gloves. They come with two colors, black and brown, and two fits for normal and under the sleeves. My avatar is wearing the new beautiful Tox head applier by Tableau Vivant. STORYLINE: Being a proper English Gentlemen, Lord Kraven traveled in style. His idea of an outstanding Christmas Vacation involved digging for ancient treasures and hunting big game on the Dark Continent. The thought of sipping the "local cuisine" made his mouth water. Wild game had so much fight, unlike the jaded city dwellers of London. Yes it was exhausting, but he rather enjoyed playing with his food. He even had his eye on a particularly feisty warrior among the herd. He would make an excellent pet. His friends will be so jealous. ...Ah, the unlife was sweet indeed.
The Hunter Vs Hunter series was inspired by the Jewelry and Accessory Expo's Safari theme. But of course I had to give it a gothic twist. The Expo has ended, but you can still pick up these awesome shoes by G&D. They come with a hud that will let you change 2 of the leather colors, and metals. They are a rare pair of shoes for guys that work the Slink Male feet. Working great with the shoes are the Skinny pants by Gabriel. The Safari Pith hat is by Xen's Hats. Love the black color version! It's perfect for vampires on safari. The beautiful red Harrington coat is a new creation by FATEwear. You can get it in several colors, and I love how the collar looks woolly with materials. The coat is meant to be worn with the scarf. And the coat also comes with a texture of snow dusting the shoulders. Nice! What's inside the bag, I wonder? The Messenger Bag from Remarkable Oblivion is another must have goodie. It comes in 3 color choices, and has an x.y.z script for resizing. The face piercing are by CerberusXing and come in 3 colors, girls and guys can wear. It was part of the ROMP sale last weekend. Also from the ROMP are: the Cheeky Pea Striped Trees chair with 22 single poses, 4 couples, and 12 adult poses; and the Artisan Fantasy Captive - Cage comes with 21 solo poses. The hair under the hat is from Argrace's Christmas gift santa hat and hair. I just made the hat part transparent, and Wa La! I have some handy hat-hair. lol
STORYLINE: Every few nights, a person in his village would suddenly cry out for help, and before anyone could reach them, they were gone. There would be signs of struggle and the roof of the hut would be shredded. He had enough of the predator terrorizing his village. He would hunt down it, and kill it. The clever flying menace would have been untrackable if not for a drop of blood in the sand every few feet. It would be only a matter of time before he caught up with it.

STORYLINE: It was supposed to be easy. It wouldn't matter he didn't have experience at this whole vampire thing. It was brilliant! And it would have worked too if not for her roommate who caught him in the act. He woke up with a horrible throbbing knot on the head, and he was handcuffed to the radiator. The girls were debating what they would do to him. He gulped.
