STORYLINE: This is a special place. It belonged King Triton's youngest daughter. She was dear to me. To honor her memory I have kept this place exactly as it was. .... Her story began when an object from the world above fell at the entrance of her home. She was curious and wondered at it's purpose. Another object fell, and then another. Each object leading her further and further away. She realized they were falling from a ship above. She was forbidden to go to the surface, but it swam up to it anyway. She knew something was wrong. Her first sight at the surface was lightning streaking across an angry purple sky. She was terrified. The ship in the distance lurched wildly in the waves. A young man was swept overboard. His arms and legs were thrashing wildly. He was drowning. His panicked eyes locked on her, screaming at her to save him. A jolt raced up and down her spine. Her heart began race. He did not belong in her world, he could not breath in the water. He was dying. She had to help. She used all her strength to pull him up where he could breath air. She fought the waves until she came upon a sandy beach. A beautiful woman at the shoreline screamed and darted into the water towards them. The mermaid was scared of being beached on the land. She didn't belong there any more then young man belonged in the sea. She averted her eyes and handed the unconscious man to her and swam away as quickly as she could. 

Enchantment's rebirth was a great success! I look forward to seeing what fairy tale will be in the next round. The Little Mermaid theme items are moving into their home mainstores locations. The mermaids have been such fun to spend time with, and I would like to continue this story. I hope you enjoy the journey. Shown above is the aisling Calypso headress that comes with a hud to change the textures and colors. Also, by aisling are the Caly's baby eels. They have a hud to hide left or right and change colors. The fun Gills on the neck and headfins are by Soul. The headfins you can adjust to fit, and the gills are rigged. Both come with a hud to change the texture and have a second layer for tattoo effects. The skin by Fallen Gods Oceanica Still Eclipse comes with many appliers, including the ones I used for the The Mesh Project head and body. The Trident by CerberusXing comes in handheld and back staff versions. The mermaid eyes are by Antielle and come in several colors. The tentacle belt and arm wraps are by BluPrintz. It comes with a hud to control base color, highlights, and suction cup colors. The nipple rings are by Haus of Darcy. Right now if you are member of the H.O.D. VIP group, 50L to join, you get the a 150L gift certificate to celebrity the designer's birthday, as well as all the other group gifts. What a nice surprise! The corset for guys is by Schadenfreude. it comes with 3 black texture patterns. The gloves are by Swagga. They are non-rigged and mod so you tint and scale them for a good fit. The Beck hair by Tableau Vivant worked perfectly with the headress, and I used the TV hair base applier for the TMP head. From Aii is the cool eyeliner and mole applier for the TMP head. Most mermaid poses are for girls, so I made a more manly mer style pose for this image.

STORYLINE: She couldn't take her mind off the young man. His eyes haunted her. Would he be ok? She wanted to see him again. She had so many questions about him, and about the world on the surface. She couldn't help but wonder what life would be like with him as a husband. When she arrived back home the SeaWitch was waiting for her. "You look unhappy, my poor child. Surely it's not a problem I couldn't help you solve," she grinned like a shark who caught a fish.

Shown above are many awesome decor items that came together to create what feels like to me, a teenage mermaid's bedroom. I used in both images the Odyssey's temple and pearl lights by Fallen Gods from this year's Fantasy Faire. The MeadowWorks octopus, seaweed, and fish schools are also from a gacha at Fantasy Faire, but now you can play it at the mainstore. I love this gacha! Another great gacha is by DeviousMind, the seahorse wearable rider. I used it for room decor. The couch, armchair, and bed are by Zerkalo. It comes in pg or adult. The Ursula plushie on the couch is by Moon Amore, its animated. The seashells are by Plastik and have a color change hud. The paintings on the backwall and canvases on the ground are by Jian. They are inspiration for the whole color theme. Beautiful colors. From A Tattered Page's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea are the jellyfish by Spyralle, and the Dugong by The Muses. It's actually an avatar but I turned it into a sculpture. Overall this room is just stunning. Beautiful work from all the designers.

STORYLINE: Lilandra was an eccentric artist. Unlike the other Darks, she slept in the night and worked during the day. Her paintings were highly prized among the Dark for the powerful emotional chords they struck with the viewer. Others tried to emulate her style but ultimately failed. It was a mystery. She said needed privacy to create her masterpieces. Most accepted this explanation, however there was more to it. 

Happy WORLD GOTH DAY everyone, and welcome Akira Voorheese to the blog. She was a great help. I told her I was looking for a Bride of Dracula, ancient, vampire, and elegant. And just like that, BOOM, she had it done. Awesome. ... This first image uses heavily the wonderful Vanitas gacha by Noctis that ran in the October Tag gacha. When you touch a painting, it will slowly become more painted. It will also send you a paint palette and paint brush. I love these. (5/23/15 UPDATE: Good news! This gacha has returned to the Noctis mainstore at New Babbage.)  I included a few more artists studio gacha items from the School Festival last month by Sorgo and vive atelier. I'm a sucker for art studio stuffs. Love it. ... Akira is wearing several nice gacha from the Fantasy Gacha: the deviousMind crown and necklace, and the Una Bronte dress. She's wearing two hairs by booN. She thought I was crazy to suggest wearing 2 at the same time, but it looks great. Thanks for your help, Akira!

STORYLINE: The truth was Lilandra mixed blood into her paints. She collected "blood scent" from various places, animals, and people. You see, to a Dark a blood scent can evoke a mood. It's similar to how music, or color can effect a human.

Oh man you guys, this setting is beautiful! I am in Vampire Heaven! lol The gorgeous bed is by Death Row. It comes with a hud to change 2 of the drape colors, comforter, and pillows. Like all Death Row furniture, it includes lots of poses for male, female, couples, and adult. It will attach props to you too, just click accept when a menu pops up. ... From the Fantasy Gacha is the beautiful gothic gacha by Ravenghost. The Sarcophagus is interactive, the lid will slide open with a nice creepy sound and you can lay down inside. The candles have a cool melting wax texture animation effect. And the Gazebo is very lovely too. ... I hear it all the time, people are looking for nice statues in SL. Guess what? You can find these amazing statues by Papermoon and The Muses at the Fantasy Gacha too! The Rares for statue and candelabra come with a hud to change all the textures, 7 statue colors, 7 candle colors, the metals. (You can mod tint the drapery if you like too) The commons have a texture hud for the candles. The swinging chandelier is it stunning.  ... STORYLINE: "All that is mine, is yours," he said. He was everything a simple French country girl could dream of in a husband. He was handsome, wealthy, and catered to her every whim. Of course she agreed instantly to marry him! True, there were moments when his smile faded, and an eerie look crept into his eyes, (he often brooded over his pervious wife's death during childbirth), but his sadness only made her love him more. He talked of death like someone who had seen too much of it. "What point is all this?" He spread his arms wide as if to encase his entire massive estate, "when you can't take it with you?" "Well," she smiled at him playfully and stroked his chest, "Best to enjoy your time while you can. Your children, and children's children will enjoy the point of all this." What a complex and mysterious man he was. He had only one rule, do not enter the top floor of the north tower.

Other stamp prizes shown in this image are the Frogstar Chain Headwrap, and the Shi enchanted Key necklace. Both are editable non, rigged mesh. In the background is a massive set I built with the help of Kariritaisho. The BlueBeard's castle in the front is by Kalopsia. It's all mesh, 72 land impact, has two lower floor, two upper and a hallway. You can walk the ladder up to the second floor. I edited the textures so I could roughly match it to the castle in the back. I wanted a enormous castle for all of Bluebeards many rooms, and this one is whopper! Partial mesh and 874 land imapct. You need a draw distance of 144 just to see it all. Definitely one for rezzing on the sandbox. lol Kariritaisho won this on the silent auction during Fantasy Faire. We Love Role Play: A MidSummer's Dollmare

Many good things to talk about in this image. First is this is a truly beautiful male mesh Ball Joint Doll avatar by Coco. The figure uses default avatar's rigging, so you can edit the shape to suit your taste, or try to make it fit in normal mesh clothes like I did above. The rigged boots by Lassitude and Ennui are a perfect match for DollCoco's size. The elegant boot pant from Tableau Vivant also works perfectly. The rich cool red quilted tunic by the Muses is on sale over at We Love Role Play right now. For the waist, I combined two belts: the mesh kilt belt by A:S:S and one of my favorite belts by Sey. I get many compliments on this demon blindfold by BjD, it's just so badass. It comes with a color hud. The wings are by Illusions, they can texture change and come with spread wings too. Double the fun with Magika using two hairs to create romantic elfish style. The katana sword has materials and is free from BareRose. The surreal Donkeys are from Medieval Fantasy Hunt at United InshCon. And get this, they actually poop gold. That's right, you will be wanting to feed these babies a lot of hay, a better quality hay gives you better bullions. *makes jokes* lol  The skybox is in the Midsummer's Night Dream theme with paintings of the play.
