Aengima: Dreadful Depths: Captain Nemo

STORYLINE: The mournful sounds of a pipe organ reverberated throughout the metal hull of the Nautilus. Captain Nemo's sour mood was made obvious to all. His submersible ship lay sunk on the ocean floor, wounded by a Kraken attack. They had been so close to finding the lost city of Atlantis! It was frustrating. But Captain Nemo could not be so easily defeated. They would make the necessary repairs and be underway on the hunt in less than a week. 

Dive! Dive! Dive!  Last call for the fun underwater steampunk round of Aengima. This image is of course a little homage to the 2000 Leagues Under the Sea. I was inspired by so many great items. The beautiful La Malvada Muder tattoo is lovely and full of interesting water themed elements. The Hat is by KiB designer, and Eyepath and Goatee by Badwolf. From Graveyard is the walking cane. And from Static are the whimsical animesh  Nightmariner Lanterns. They are so fun to watch, but also come in a hold version and static props.

Summerfest 2019: The Vampire Pool Party

STORYLINE: Summer is a time for going to the beach, splashing in the surf, and soaking in the sun. But what about the creatures of the night? Are they doomed to never experience the joys of summer?  Well down on the Moonset Strip at a little club called the Rockabilly Rox, the vampires are throwing a hell of a pool party. The speakers are blasting, coffins and headstones lined in neon, beach balls bouncing everywhere, and over at the dance floor the Nosferatu are splashing around happily in inflatable pools filled with suspicious looking red liquids. Who says only humans get to enjoy summer?

Summerfest is close to an end, but forget to grab the the fun-gear for your Summer. The image above was inspired by Schadenfreude's fun inflatable pool, bat wing inner tubes and floating drink holders. All them come with a hud to change the colors combinations in many ways, and their materials catch a perfect plasticky look in the light. The floating drink holder and ring, will slowly turn on the water for a realistic floating effect. The inner tube also comes in a Vehicle version, so you can race around and terrorize your neighbors in your own floating batmobile. There is a wearable ring, and floating ring and inner tube both have poses  build into them. The skull shaped inflatable pool can change its colors and even do a sugar skull texture versions. And you can change the water color from white, blue, pink, toxic green or of course red.  On the floor are beautiful Triton beach towels with poses from Balaclava.  From S16B, I picked up the cool Tootime club skybox by Anxiety for 30% off. Also from Anxiety are the neon gravestone group gift, and the neon coffin from the Cult gacha. The finishing touch of neon wireframe palm trees are from Foxcity.

STORYLINE: Flights of fancy: An idea, narrative, suggestion, etc. which is extremely imaginative and which appears to be entirely unrealistic, untrue, or impractical; thinking which is very speculative.

I was inspired by several dynamic new releases. By AIR are these wonderful windblown cuffs. Touch them to bring up a hud to chose what pose for each ribbon you want. It comes in 3 colors, and you can edit the cuffs to best fit. From Cubic Cherry is the windblown harness Storm that is the gift for the Femboy Hunt. It's unrigged so you can edit it for best fit. That's right, shown above is the brand new Slink Male Body! Slink has updated it's hands, feet, and bodies to accept Omega appliers. The shorts shown here are Omega appliers by Apricot Paw. The Souzou Eien blindfold is a Vivid Dreams Kink Hunt gift. The dreamers boots are also by Souzou Eien, I loved the imagaitive clouds texture for them. World Goth Fair: What We Do In Cursed, 1

STORYLINE: Good evening mortals. Welcome to Cursed's 4th annual World Goth Fair. As relations between The Dark and Humans normalize, we hope a tour of the city with opportunities to meet our colorful denizens will help promote understanding and trust. I am Commander Ashe of the Night Troops. I will be your escort. We are not that much different than you. We creatures of the night put on our black leather pants one leg at a time too. The bats have left the belltower, its time to get your Goth on! The World Goth Fair is open! Each year World Goth Fair tries something new: things that didn't work out get dropped, and new ideas are tried. There will be staggered releases throughout the event, and several on May 22 for World Goth Day itself. And I am excited to tell you this year a little batty whispered in my ear something very special is going to happen. Adventures in Linden Lab's Winter Wonderland

When I heard about Linden Labs' new Winter Wonderland destination, I did a happy dance. This was exactly what I hoped the Labs would do when they asked for suggestions a few months ago. I really enjoyed the Haunted House ride for Halloween. This new addition is even larger! The Linden Portal has become a busy place. Love it!

Winter Wonderland is 4 connecting sims. It all mesh and looks great with advanced lighting and materials. When you land, be sure to accept the Experience Keys when they pop up. In the town zone, there are gifts for everyone, be sure to pick those up. You can catch the fireworks show at the top of each hour. In the snowball fight zone, you can choose from Snow Pistol or Snow Rifle. Members of the premium club have a 3rd choice, the Snow Bazooka. (NOTE: To get the premium gifts, go the Linden sandbox and click the gift vendors. Wear the Ribbon and Medal to get the extra options. Not a member? Right now there is a 50% off sale to join.) The weapons for snowball fight work inside the snowball zone. To use the snow guns outside the sim, you need to wear the gift versions. Over in park zone, The Ferris Wheel has a funny sign. To seat two people it's tricky, but keep trying. One person on the left and the other on the right. There are free skates in the ice rink, and you can customize your skates too. Over on the race track zone, you can choose a snowboard or snowmobile. The snowmobile can seat 2 people. Watch out on the snowboard, it has a jetpack on the back. You can easily fly off the course and land on someone's head. ...Maybe that's why one of them boards looks like a giant bandaid. lol

Go check out the Winter Wonderland!

To shoot the video I used SL Go on firestorm. It makes it possible for me to film with advanced lighting with fast frame rate. I even blazed around the track with no lagging. Sweet! The service is $10 a month. January is currently free for those would were subscribers in December, due a teleport bug on the official viewer. I really loving being able to shoot video now. The Addams Family - The Perfect Family 1

STORYLINE: The Addams Family was a popular topic of rumor and speculation at Wednesday's school. The normally soft murmurs turned into a roar when for show and tell, Wednesday brought a macabre painting she claimed she painted herself. But instead of people praising her artist skill, they were horrified. The details were so gruesome, her art teacher asked how she achieved such realism. Wednesday replied simply she had a live "dead" model.

Every now and then something spontaneous and wonderful happens. After a conversation between Draconias and Aarya about how the Addams Family is the "Perfect Family," this fun portrait idea grew. Thanks to Aarya, Draconias, and Lexxii for letting me blog this!

STORYLINE: Muffy Hightower was on a mission: infiltrate the Addams mansion, find out if Wednesday really does have a mummified body for her still life painting, report her findings to her friends, and collect the reward money. Simple, right? First, Muffy started by emulating Wednesday's style. She laughed secretly inside when the gloomy girl was so overjoyed that a popular cheerleader suddenly took an interest in her that an invite to a slumber party at Freak Central soon followed. It was all too easy, Muffy thought.  What could possibly go wrong?

Death Row makes it's debut at Collabor88 with two stunning pieces for the spooky hotel theme: A gorgeous velvet hotel couch, and stacked suitcases that include a blood stained holdable one, with or without, pose trigger. The couch seats people on all four sides, comes in pg and adult, and has a texture change hud. Don't miss it!  From RMK Halloween is the Ethelton Casket from Noctis is another beautifully textured goodie for gothic home decor. It includes a pose to laying down inside, and the lid opens and closes. There is a hud to change it's textures too. To the left of the image is the Magus supplies and Professor's desk, and on the rug is the Magus podium is the gift from RMK Halloween Dream Gacha. On the wall above the desk, is the Papermoon Green Witch Shelf from the Halloween Market at RMK, and by the podium is Green Witch Bundle prize from the RMK Dream Gacha. Next to the bundle is the Crystal Altar by Souzou Eien. It's also a prize from the RMK Dream Gacha. Enchantment: Sleeping Beauty2

STORYLINE: I could feel it, this day was different. Change was coming. My senses strained to detect it. Perhaps the change was not in the wind after all, but in the demeanor of She Who Watches Me in my sleep.

The Charlie outfit by Zanze is adorable and I could not resist to show you guys. You can wear this style as a schoolboy, or dressed up for summer. I added the bowtie with spikes by Zanze. STORYLINE: After successfully escaping the Mars colony, the Cursed A.N.G.E.L. left the protection business and reinvented himself as a rock star named Rab8. He wrote a "romantic" song about a pissed off violent out-of-work vampire who was starving because of the lack of non-genetically hybridized humans until one day a beautiful Eden quenched his thirst. He figured he could seduce some Edens out of hiding with his music. His song climbed to number 47 on the Earth Music Charts. More people came to see him perform. And after he smelled a near-Eden among the crowd, he thought he was well on his way to securing a new blood supplier when disaster struck....   (NOTE: If you guys remember my posts on FutureWave, this storyline picks up where that left off.)

It's Easter Time! Spring! Pollen! Bunnies! And those of you who know me, know I have a thing for bunnies. When I saw the cool new mecha bunny headphones Rab8 by Remarkable Oblivion, my little cotton tail was wagging. They come in either blue or white and you find them on sale at FaMESHed this month. Also going on right now is the Rock Attitude Fashion Fair. I got at the fair this great mesh Les Paul style guitar from NS. It comes with several versions for wearing on your back or holding, but those attachments are really tiny guitars and you can not mod them. I am using the larger one above that contains a pose. For this post I used instead an excellent pose by momomuller. Looking a bit like a Kiss style Kabuki Bunny, I am wearing the Dead of Night creature makeup by Lovely Disarray and kick ass high platform boots Onslaught by Razor. The chain necklace is a group gift from Death Row. On Berry's Dance meme, the Godfather Bat Winter Jefferson danced in this coat and I was drooling so hard. As soon as I knew where to get it, I made a beeline to FashionNatic and scooped it up. It comes with the color hud for many color combinations on straps and fabric, and zipper on or off. Excellent. I love the Simmon's models. The tongue and piercings are a past Rebel Playground hunt gift from Bubblez. The pants are my favorites from Ronsem. They are the best pants I have for boots. From the FutureWave posts for this character, I'm wearing once more the Argrace Arata hair with Action hairbase and Vrsion gloves. The By Snow eyes were at FutureWave also. They are really amazing with beautiful cyber textures that animation and you can change the colors of all the different elements ina hud. The Night Troops

STORYLINE: Desperate to thwart a Nazi invasion of the U.K., Winston Churchill did the unthinkable. He signed a secret pact with the Vampire Nation; their existence would be classified and their freedom would be guaranteed exchange for defending Britannia from the Nazi scourge. The Army of the Night wasted no time burrowing deep into secret fortified bunkers. But a ground assault never came. As the Allies closed in on Berlin near the war's end, Commander Ashe led a covert mission deep into the heart of the enemy. The rumor among the Night Troops is what finally brought down the Führer, wasn't a suicide, it was a Nosferatu. The proof, they claim, is the Victoria Cross worn over the mouth of their Commander ever since that day.

This post was inspired by the cool new Paragon sash by Remarkable Oblivion at the Men's Department. So many times I have wished I had a cool sash, so I am very happy about this, (not to mention I'm into military medals! The details are awesome!)  I added the Paragon hat too and did a Military Goth spin on the style. The sash comes in male or female. It has resizing on the x,y,z. I tried on many coats and jackets to work with the sash, so I will save you some time and give you some tips. Almost everything at Kauna, ::K::, and some jackets at BareRose will work with the sash, but you can ditch the coat and instead go shirtless or wear some sexy latex. I'm wearing Red Devil's Devastating Black under the new Darkside tunic by sYs. The eyes by S0NG are also available at the Men's Department this month. The face and ear piercings are by Haus of Darcy. Ears by Mandala. My eyeliner is by Lovely Disarray which has moved to a new location and is having 50L-100L sale on older items and 100-150L sale on newer makeups til March 11th. Run go get some cool makeups! The scar is a fun gift from the Usagi Cafe hunt last month. Hair base by Action, and one of all time favorite skins by Tableau Vivant is Noctis, love the eyebrows. I had an image in mind for where to shoot this picture and I can't believe I found exactly what I wanted in this amazing military bunker set by Dynamic Evolution. It's low land impact, and highly detailed with materials too. Very impressive.

Final Fantasy Fest: Vincent Valentine

Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII, a special delivery for Valentine's Day. This was an awesome character to put together. Vincent is a badass goth in Final Fantasy, and his limit breaks are classic horror monsters. (And between you and me, I consider him a vampire too, albeit a Final Fantasy type twist to the genre. Vincent Valentine "is undead, undead, undead....") You have until Feb 21st to head down to Final Fantasy Fest and scoop up the awesome.

This awesome Vincent hair by Ayashi is on sale at the Final Fantasy Fest. You don't have to wear it black, you can wear any other color. The skin is the new release Sean by Tableau Vivant in the palest skintone with dark brow. Isn't the detail around the eyes awesome? Like black thorny tears, he's wearing the Guyliners by Lovely Disarray. Aii has this fun Vincent cloak with flexi tattered ends that swirl and move in a spooky cool way. The eyes are another soulful set from S0NG. I edit the texture to adjust the iris size. The backpack is a new freebie from the BareRose raffle. It's a coffin with a vampire creature trying to get out (which I think is cool symbolism for Vincent, monster in the coffin and he carries a heavy weight.). I totally camped hard for that. lol I added a tint to the wing to match his cloak and headband. The male corset from Schadenfreude I have shown before but this time with a spider texture. There are 3 different textures on the hud for it. The belt and shirt are by Lapointe and Bastchild. The belt is prim and scales on the x,y,z and comes with hud to change colors. The shirt is system and I used it here to work with the cloak. The pants, bracers and shin guards are by The Forge. Crazy person that I am, I wore on top of the Forge boots the goth classic winklepickers by Dare Designs. The system gloves are by Adan N Eve, mesh gloves by Ascent, and the armored glove by Druidamus. My gun of choice returns to the blog, the D-Z Guns Mini Redemptions Dual Chain Gun Revolvers. Love these babies.

Hackers of Mars

STORYLINE: The Mars colony was a dreadful place. Corporations ruled over all aspects of the colony. Their sole purpose was to create more profit. They even genetically breed their own slave labor force. 

At The Men's Department is a fantastic deal from Tableau Vivant. Remember the cool wild colored Damon skins I have shown in the past? Well now you a can get a normal skin color version of the Damon skin for only 300L. And introducing for the first time, Tableau Vivant is adding hair layers for facial scruff, chest hair, and happy trail. I'm wearing the happy trail (see image below). Love it. Having an option like this is great, it adds just a little more pop to a skin. Echoing the trail line, is a cool war paint tattoo from Lovely Disarray. The Tableau Vivant Damon hair is also at Men's Department. I paired it up with my favorite scalp texture by Action. The deep green eyes are a Christmas gift from Poetic Colors.

STORYLINE: Hybrids were not considered people. They were property patented by their corporate makers. A Human/Martian hybrid named Static Charge dabbled in hack craft when he was not busy tolling in the mines. 

From my bag of tricks, is the NMJ BodyOil tattoo you see me using here to create a sweaty look. The goggles, boots, and rings are part of Death Row's Post Apocalyptic Nerd series and have fun power cord and floppy disk elements. You can pick them up at FaMESHed. The Male Leather sleeves, also by Death Row, fit great but if you wear Slink you will have some poke on the hand. The Control Alt Delete rings are also made for the default hand, I tried to make work on the Slink hand as best as I could. All Death Row are wonderfully made, textured, and shockingly affordable for original content! Go load up on the coolness! <3 DRD

STORYLINE: He discovered a hole in the corporate main server's security and made a break for it.

You guys know I am crazy for boots right? The new Death Row Post Apocalyptic Nerd stomp boots are easily one of my favorites. They're just so fun to look at with details like power cords and ancient floppy disks. For going out into harsh Mars atmosphere, I used the Death Row Tubes mask. It's one of the best mesh gasmasks you can get and I love how this looks on the back of the neck too. (see picture below) Don't be scared off by Death Row's "female" label on this armor either. It's not rigged mesh. You can edit on xyz to scale it up for a good fit. The set comes with shoulder, upper arm, lower arm and hand. The hand piece that comes with it will not fit well with Slink hands. Following Skell's tip, I picked up these great slim fit leather pants for men by Immerschoen Male, and he also send me to check out pose guru momomuller / [3M]. This one of 3M's poses above.

STORYLINE: He successfully snuck onto an automated transport ship that would take him to the alleged, "Sanctuary in the Sky."

If you have never been to the sims of Insilico, you are in for a treat. This is one of my favorite places in SL ever since I first saw it. The Mars section has expanded recently to 2 sim with a colony city, and seems to be growing. Can't wait to see what develops.

Gothmas: Vampire Ballet

STORYLINE: Being creatures with a love for beauty, art, and a good show, the Vampire Ballet Company has been performing their own sinister version of the Nutcracker for almost as long as the original's debut.

No part of Christmas is immune from the dark touch of Gothmas. This image was inspired by the Dark Water Designs outfits for male and female at Gothmas by Gaslight. I'm wearing the Tokyo Dreams jacket above, it also comes with pants. The girl's Ballerina outfit comes with nice mesh point shoes that totally work on the guys too, just scale it up. But I couldn't leave it there, I had to go more extreme with ballet boot thigh highs by ROSAL. Yes, those are rigged for female, but you know what? I had no problem wearing them! Just wear XL and scale down the leg muscle a tad, then hide the heel, and you got yourself a prima ballerina vampire. lol The fur hat is from Milk Motion at the current round of Collabor88 which I edited to make taller. This gorgeous winged monocle by AIR currently on sale at RMK Frost Fair.  It comes in either gold or silver, and includes left and right versions. The hair is Beck by Tableau Vivant and it works perfect for my vampire dancer. The skin is also by  Tableau Vivant, the horror series for Lucis, and the price is not too bad either!
