Attack of the Skyrats

STORYLINE: Waves lap at the shore as the sky turns from blue to gold. "Could there be anything else more lovely?" he thought as he cracked up a bottle of Mad Dog. He could happily fall asleep right now, but no sooner had the scent wafted out of the bottle than a swarm of noisy seagulls descending upon him. "Damn skyrats," he sneered. They totally ruined his mood, but it wouldn't be a day at the beach without them.

Summertime! I have some great goodies relaxing at the beach to show you. From Boys of Summer is the Jolly Roger shades by 7 Mad Ravens. They come in either red or black and have a x,y,z script for resizing. Be sure to pick up the free Boys of Summer lounger while you are there. The Mad Dog lounger and lamp you find at the Unkindness main store. The lamp light can turn on and off at touch. The Loungers have several poses includes. ...Over at Summerfest is the Salty hair by Tableau Vivant. This is cool style and it does look like salty windswept beach hair. lol it includes a nice hair scalp too. I love the hairline on this one. Also don't miss at Summerfest these wonderful Seagulls by Ohmai. There are 4 gulls in poses, 2 that fly, and one for a shoulder pet. Each gull is animated, will squawk away noisily, and will add realism to your beach. Seriously, so me no beach feels like beach without the skyrat squad lurking close by. lol There are several breeds to choose from. I used the Franklin gull because it reminds me of the gulls we have here where I live. ...From the Japanese storytelling adventure, Mizu, is the awesome Wet Shirt by Gabriel. It works with the TMP body and the default avatar. The shirt is limited to the event so if you haven't been yet, I highly recommend it. You can pick up a hud for the quest at the main landing. ...From Collabor88 is another wonderful creation at C88 sale price by Trompe Loeil, the Kiya Beach Hut and pier. The set comes in several hut colors. ...On sale now is the KYO piercings by Haus of Darcy. You can scoop these up for a steal of a deal at the current round of Tengoku no Rakuen. ...The Bali fitted mesh shorts by Swagga work great with the TMP body, and also come in default size. ...The necklace is by Ison and it'd mod to adjust for a good fit. ...And lastly, the sandals are by ILLI. They work with Slink and TMP and come with a hud to change to the different texture zones.

The Mysterious Event at the Mars Arena

STORYLINE: The miners on Mars were all given the day off, and since the miners are never given a day off, there was a great deal of excitement. They were told to head to the Mars Arena. The rumor was some big shot from Earth was performing a free concert, or was it huge birthday bash for one the Lords of Mars? The miners quickly departed for the event, expect for one guy, Drake Knife. It's not that he was a sour puss, he just didn't trust the Mars Lords. He was sure to pack a gas mask, pistol, and a machete before following his comrades down the dust-choked tunnels.

SL12B has begun, and once more there are breathtakingly awesome builds for the main stages and welcome area. The image above was shot on location at the Astonish DJ stage. I love this scifi build with it's creepy Scorpion alien creature. It's a lot of fun to explore. For my Martian miner, I have a combination of post apocalyptic items by Death Row and Swagga. From the Death Row male at the Arcade are the post apocalyptic head scarf, gas mask, belt, boots, and machete with chest belt. For fun, I added the calf pistol from the girl's version of the gacha. By Swagga is the cool motorcycle helmet ApocMoto. It comes with or without the glow details. Matching it are the ApocoMoto bracers, elbow and knee pads. From 7 Mad Ravens is the Guardian Medallion necklace. It also comes with a crucifix necklace. ... There are lots of do this weekend at SL12B. Have fun gang, and Happy 12th Birthday SecondLife!

World Goth Fair: What We Do In Cursed, 5

STORYLINE: Maximilian Spyder was the first democratically elected leader in the history of Cursed. He won in a landslide against his arch rival Kaiser Kruel. He wasted no time sweeping in massive reforms to the thunderous applause of the inhabitants of Cursed. But it was not all glamor and idealism. Max has to make diplomatic efforts to try and bring together all the diverse branches of Cursed Nation, including defeated forces of Kaiser. Perhaps his most challenging was his dealings with the Elusive Vampire Squids. They lived deep under the ocean in eerie gothic shrines with bioluminance.

Smuggler of the Wastelands

STORYLINE: Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night, the contraband must get through! Aleksei lived a dangerous life smuggling goods past rival territories for his boss, the God of the Wastelands. While many failed, Aleksei had an amazing delivery record. The secret to his success was his willingness to venture into the radioactive Exclusion Zone. Any fool who valued their life wouldn't dare follow him there. The way he figured it, no one lived past 35 in these brutal times, so what did it matter if he lost a few years of his life each time went? He was never going to die of old age anyway.

Get your motor running! At the brand new event for men onl, The Arena, you can score some seriously badass stuff. It's by the Fantasy Gacha gang and it has a combination of gachas, limited editions, and items for sale. The Sau motorcycle above is a limited edition for the event. The boots are included in the outfit, however if you want to mix it up and change the colors on the boots, get the Turner Boots with the color hud. Like all FATEwear products, the FATEstep shoes are also mesh that isn't heavy, so you can wear your new FATEplay and FATEstep at busy events and not suffer from the lag as much as other people. Above I am wearing the Alt version of the Max outfit. There is girl's version too. In the background is the new Death Row Old Trailer hangout on sale at The End. It's 27 land impact, and includes solo poses for girls and guys, couple, and adult poses.

The TAG Gacha has begun! If you haven't done it yet, hop over to the TAG Gacha website to see the gacha and how to play. Be sure to slap the Tag Banner at each store to unlock it on the hud. I really loved this event, the start, bonus room and coupon rooms are all wonderfully made, and the gachas are all fun with a dark twist. You know I love that! lol The Headphones above are the rare from The Forge / Lab 737. The left eye is from Clemmm. (NOTE: The eyes you win are singles, either left or right.) The vampire face mask is the rare from 7 Mad Ravens, Hellion. It also includes an eye patch and horns.

False God of the Wastelands, 1

STORYLINE: Every hero has a nemesis, and so did Jesus of Pripyat Park. Before the Apocalypse, the God of the Wastelands had been a minimum wage mechanic named Seth. But in the new reality, he was a ruthless tyrant drunk on his power. How did such a spectacular rise happen? It was due to a simple fact; there were no factories to make parts, and no one knew how to repair pre-war technology. The EM Pulse Warheads wiped out more than bank accounts. Every "How To" manual was also erased. The one who had memorized how to fix things from bikes to guns to refrigerators became greatly in demand.

Lots of stuff going on here. Seth above is sporting several new items from Tableau Vivant and two of them are clothing! Yes, T.V. has returned to clothing items and these two are winners on sale at Secret Affair. I love the leather texture on the Leather Skinny pants. They come in male and female, as well as the Fringe Leather Collar. The Faux Dreads hair is rigged with a long back, for male or female. I paired with it another fantastic new creation by T.V., the Short Cut Hair base for TheMeshProject head and default on sale at the new round of Creation.jp. I love this hairbase! And the last goodie from T.V. is the new Alyx skin on sale at Skin Fair. You can buy the Alyx skin for the default avatar for 990L. The body appliers for the TheMeshProject are also there close by. And some more big news, those of you who are owners of the Loud Mouth, T.V. now has appliers! You can pick Alyx for Loud Mouth on sale at Skin Fair.

Now let me tell you a little more about this outfit. The wicked cool steampunk cigarette and holder are by LaNoir Soleil Designs and it's their gift from Steam The Hunt. While you're there, you cna pick up the matching Chained lip-ear steampunk piercing. The Sovereign eyes are the new group gift by IKON. The Aviator Headset is from a gacha by The Forge at Secret Affair. The smokey eyemake-up for TheMeshProject Head is by Clef de Peau on sale at The Men's Department. The Duelling gloves are by FATEplay and come with a hud to close, open, and shorten the glove length as well as pick new textures. The Wastelands Bullet belt is also by FATEplay. The latex gloves are an applier by Female Poison. The boots are by Razor. The goggles are by Death Row, and the pose and mattress are Post Apocalyptic Hangout by Death Row on sale at Secret Affair. Also there are the Incendiary Tree and the Dystopia Threshold by RavenGhost. Shanty Repair Shop, and I Fix Your Shit sign are from the Unkindness gacha at Luck of the Irish. ...I will tell you more about these items in post 2.

STORYLINE: The desperate would rather hide in the shadow of radioactive towns than risk being caught by brutal warlords or rape gangs. That's when the newcomer first appeared. He accidentally stepped into the Pool of Certain Death next to the old power plant. Everyone knew to stay away from that place, but not him. One step in that puddle and a person was dead in seconds. But this strange young man did not die, he walked across the whole length of it. Yes, his hair turned stark white and he developed blood weeping wounds that would not heal, as far as anyone was concerned, it was a miracle. STORYLINE: A day ago he was just like any other boy. He did nothing remarkable, just played in an old abandoned park he discovered. Now everything had changed. His life had been spared. The Retro Game Adventure

STORYLINE: The leader singer of a California punk rock band, Dino had a passion for video games. The bright colors and happy 8-bit bleeps made his child's heart glow. He repaired old arcade machines and game consoles as a side business to supplement his income in-between gigs. But there was one game he longed for that he could never find. Until one day he got a mysterious email.

This gamer room makes me feel stupid happy, like a cozy hideout where your buds come over and you shoot the shit for hours. lol You can get the Retro Game goodies at the new round of Level Up, but you need to be fast, the 5th is the last day. From Level Up: The little green hair elves are wearable pets gacha by swagga. The Tossing Barrels Arcade game by Nomad is a wearable backpack and it is animated! (I scaled it up larger for the picture and hid the backpack straps.) The Pac Man Ghost wall art is by Frogstar, and the black art poster is by Unrependant. On the table are the brick cube, coin, and question mark box are by Mien. The Gamer bracelet and ring are a gacha by Nomad. It's non-rigged so you can adjust it for a good fit. The Headgear is by Swagga and it's also editable non-rigged mesh. The glass elements on the eye piece are animated and you can change the color with a hud. Other things I am wearing: The new years group gift hair from Tableau Vivant comes with all the color huds and it has fits for girls and guys. The piercings are by Haus of Darcy and were on sale at the last round of Tengoku-no-rakuen. (Also by Haus of Darcy on sale at Creation.Jp are nipple piercings with several styles of piercings.) The jean vest by 7 Mad Ravens is on sale right now at the Cosmopolitan Sales Room. You can get it in Punk like above, camo, or rebel styles. The Wasted jeans are also by 7 Mad Ravens. The New Rock boots are subscriber gift from Hoorenbeek. To get them, join the subscriber group and wait 15 days. Then go back to get the gifts. Now, perhaps you are noticing how nice the details are on they arms and hands here. You didn't? Look again. That is a fitted mesh body for men by Kauna. It's on sale right now at FaMESHed. Hunter VS Hunter

STORYLINE: Every few nights, a person in his village would suddenly cry out for help, and before anyone could reach them, they were gone. There would be signs of struggle and the roof of the hut would be shredded. He had enough of the predator terrorizing his village. He would hunt down it, and kill it. The clever flying menace would have been untrackable if not for a drop of blood in the sand every few feet. It would be only a matter of time before he caught up with it.

Good Girl, Bad Boy

STORYLINE: (From Adventure Time, Bad Little Boy) Marshall Lee, vampire: "Good little girl, Always picking a fight with me. You know that I'm bad, But you're spending the night with me. What... do you want... from my world? You're a good little girl."   Fionna, human: "Bad little boy. That's what you're acting like. I really don't buy, That you're that kind of guy. And... if you are... Why do you want to hang out with me?"

This post was inspired by the adorable Adventure Time outfits by FATEplay available at Geeks'N'Nerds. There is a Lynne outfit for the girls, and a Finn for the guys. The girl version comes with skirt, bunny hoodie rigged and unrigged, and bonus hair that works perfectly with the hood. The guys version has bear ears hoodie and shorts. Both of them come with hood up or down, backpack, and a sword. There are six color themes to choose from and all items are materials enabled. Also, the outfits come in child sizes too. I used the Original above for girls because the outfit is adorable, and doesn't everyone love team Marshall Lee and Fionna? She's wearing the Grady Heels by Ingenue from the last round of Collabor88 and hopefully it will be in the main store soon. The Thigh High Knit socks for Slink body are by Luxuria and still on sale for Fifty Linden Friday.  Marshall Lee is wearing a great Fitted Mesh sweater, Lawless Greyskull. It has 2 sizes of fitted mesh, plus the standard sizes. I'm using the Fitted above. The sweater also comes in other colors and textures (fleur-de-lis/black, Listen/green, Tattoo/brown). The hair is a new mesh style by Dura, number 54. The Lenox jeans I got picked up The Men's Department and it comes with 6 jeans shades and 4 belt colors. I love the draping and fit on these. Nice. The shoes are Super Kingdom Low Tops, unrigged that I sized to fit the Slink feet. The vampire ears are by Trap, and vampire skin Rays Mort Vivant Bloody by Tableau Vivant.

This pose is one of many in the brand new badass Vampire Barbarian Throne by Death Row. It comes in light and dark, Adult or PG. It has: 2 single male poses, 3 single female poses, 9 vampire couple poses, 4 couple cuddles poses, 4 couple drink serves, 11 couple adult poses, and 12 femdom poses. The guitar hanging on the back on the throne is by Libby's. You can win it on the lucky board. It hangs on the shoulder, and touching it brings up a menu to switch poses.

STORYLINE: It was supposed to be easy. It wouldn't matter he didn't have experience at this whole vampire thing. Just pick up a pretty little drunk girl at the concert, follow her home, and when she passes out, drink her blood. He'd get a nice buzz, and in the morning she won't remember a thing! It was brilliant! And it would have worked too if not for her roommate who caught him in the act. He woke up with a horrible throbbing knot on the head, and he was handcuffed to the radiator. The girls were debating what they would do to him. He gulped.

Have you picked up your ROMP goodies? Hurry hurry! These goodie deals end at midnight SL, and then prices go back up to normal. You can find a link to all the stores in this round Here. From ROMP is the radiator in the picture is by Frogstar. (click to enlarge)

STORYLINE: Everybody makes fun of the country boy until the zombie apocalypse.

Level up ends today! Don't miss this badass Swaggaa chainsaw. The Zombie Chewer comes with a hud to draw and sheath. It has sound effects and options for particles. But that's not all, it has a 2nd weapon and a wicked harness you might want to use even without the chainsaw! It comes in fitted mesh and non-rigged.You can draw and sheath the Zombie Chewer Knife from the harness also. You are animated like in the picture above when you draw, but also when you walk, it's like a menacing stealth walk. Sweet! From Frogstar is the fun Safe House gacha with many of the items you see here. The Portable Toilet is lol. The Safehouse is the rare. From Papermoon is the Head Cage, a beautifully made original mesh with rich textures. Our hero can just pop it on a zombie and let them starve to death. Hell, might even be able to tame a zombie with it, keep it as a pet if you don't mind the smell. lol The Cage Lamp and trash bags are by Kuro. The lamp turns on and off and triggers a lighting effect. The trashbags come with or without flies. Our ass-kicking country boy is wearing the new Brock shirt from the FATEwear fall line. The fatpack version will let you change the colors and textures. Shirt comes with the option for tucked and untucked. Look closely at the wrist, and you will see the cuff by 7 Mad Ravens has the Rebel Flag! There are other textures for cuffs you can get in black, silver plate, or cross. They come with an xyz resize script. On his hand, are the 7 Mad Ravens Noble and Virtue Rings. I moved and adjusted them for Slink hands. They include a xyz script. The Showdown boots and His Jeans pants by Deco work great with the top.

This event works for one weekend of the month Friday 12 am to Monday 11:50 pm, designers have a brand new adult item marked down for sale 500L or less. Above, I am showing Love in Latex by Ap.parel. Today is the last day to scoop up the sales. Go the the main ROMP website for links to the other stores participating this round. Did you know there is a new MadPeas hunt, The Gathering? It runs from now to until October 30th. The theme is Aliens. Are you a skeptic or a believer? It's by Kalina over at Totally Top Shelf and on sale too. I got the Scary Eyes by Kalina on the gacha also there. The zombie skin has a texture on the hands that's cool but I wanted to wear slink hands, so I used the 7 Mad Ravens Reaper Gloves applier with the By Snow wearable demo zombie nails in black, and for the underlaying skin,I used the Kooqla Knight silver. The Cuffs are by Heathenesque and I used the x,y,z script includes to scale them up for a nice fit and they cover any seams.  And now a sneak peek at cool things to come in the next round of Creation.Jp, -- three new piercing sets by Haus of Darcy. Over at the main store, you pick up these badass Bat Wing Neons. They flicker and glow sporadically, and make funny comments in local chat. They're from the Neons gacha, and you can win several styles. The Gullillotine necklace comes in bloody and clean and works for girls and guys. The Crash Jeans Heavy Grunge are wonderfully textured like you've been rolling around under cars in a mechanic shop for weeks. lol The Jacket is really cool shape, short in the front and long in the back. STORYLINE: Finding good performers for the circus is hard to do these days, unless you happen to be gifted in the dark arts like the RingMaster.

I went crazy with this set, the idea being Carnival Cemetery. lol The Undead Puppet is played by Kariritaisho. She is showing the lovely Sugar Garden Head mesh head with gothic makeup. Her hair is cute braided updo with bow by Sweet Things. You can pick it up at the Kings and Queens fair. While you are there, drop by Dollle's for the this interesting umbrella-like Farthingale dress. Her Ballerina ribbons are by Bacio, stockings by Cannibelle. The Puppeteer pose is one she won at the WetCat gacha.

Now let me tell you some more about this setting. Twisted hunters are in a very nice treat, Death Row had created a spooky cool mesh Carousel! It spins and you can sit on horses or the booth. Fantastic gift! Thank you!  The Open Raven Tomb and the Dearly Departed grave series are all new releases by Noctis. You have edit permissions so you can move things around if you need. The tomb comes with poses, lighting, and creepy ground fog. I love Noctis so much, the textures are so nice and create perfect ambience. Adding to the scene, is the Contraption Dulci'matic from the current round of The Arcade. I love these music boxes too. Next to it is the Sess Tester game by Theosophy at The Arcade.  Behind it, is the game Whack-a-Noob by Weather or Not and I'm happy to report they have returned to SecondLife! Just follow the link on the stylecard below to go to the new store location. Welcome back <!WorN?> In the back is the Madame Zola's Fortune teller set by Noctis, this is an oldie but a goodie and comes with poses too.
