STORYLINE: For centuries the Spyder Clan interbred to strengthen their unique web weaving espionage powers. Viuda Negra, the daughter of Viscount and Viscountess Spyder, was the first Spyder born with white hair. Her power was the pinnacle of Spyder prowesses, but it came with a terrible price, four extra eyes.

Oh the things of nightmares. Are you scared of Spiders? Perhaps heights or clowns? Don't miss The Nightmare Event! This year it's expanded by adding a huge marketplace of awesome, more scary rooms to explore, and 25 pumpkins to find for  free gifts from the merchants. I love the haunted surrealistic landing area, its so creepy and cool. ...From the event shown above is the Aii Arachnia mesh head. It comes with mouth open and closed, 9 eye colors, 10 system skintones, and appliers for TMP and Belleza. The head is mod so you can drop your own skin texture on it, or head over the Omega store to pick up an Omega applier for the head. Sweet! Also by Aii is the creepy tongue with spiders, love the drool effect. The spider on the face is a free gift from Nightmares by the Doll House. Other spider theme goodies are the Caught by the Spider jewerly set by Lost Junction, and spider's web by Uncertain Smile. The windblow hair is by Tableau Vivant, and mesh gloves are by Boom.

STORYLINE: There's nothing a teenage girl wants more than to fit in. Viuda was no exception. Fear gripped her heart as the new leader of the Vampire Nation, Maximilian Spyder enacted his first decree, the destruction of Cursed. "For too long we have been imprisoned in this cursed land, this penal colony of Darks. No more!" he roared to thunderous applause. "Go now, return to your families, your homes, your lives so cruelly snatched away from you. You are free at last!" She watched silently from the shores of a foreign beach as the only home she ever knew, the only place where she had been truly accepted, sunk below the waves in eerie blue flames. 

This spider by Ravenghost is fantastic! It moves like a real spider! So creepy cool! When you wear it, you can choose between 2 poses, riding or walking. When jumping the spider will animate, and when crouching down it will raise its legs for an attack and make a scary sound! I love this spider. He's the rare at the Wayward Halloween event. Also from Wayward, is the Faida Vanessa dress. This one is the rare and it comes with hud to change the front colors. And because I'm having so much fun with this spider theme stuff, I added the Moon Amore La viuda Veil from the Lost and Found event. By Ayashi is the Irime hair with works great with the spider mesh face. Adding a bit more Black Widow style is the Antique Collar by Theater Chain. Fantasy Faire: Hades' Haircut

STORYLINE: Persephone, what a pain she was. When he told her his plan to hunt down the rogue souls of the lost city, she giggled. "Oh no Mr Grumpy Toga, you are NOT going out in the world of the living like that!" The more his anger flared, the more she roared with laughter. "But Hades, surely people would die of fright at the mere sight of you!" He turned to leave and grumbled, "The more the merrier." "Wait!" she chased after him. "You can't! Anything you touch will die! I'll come with you in case there is any trouble. Besides, you're not exactly charming. No one will tell you anything," she tried to hide her snickers. She insisted he change his appearance for the sake of gaining information from the mortals. "This is not the time of the Greeks anymore, it's a different world. Lucky for you, there is a Gypsy camp at the entrance to the underworld now. They are known for being strange and mystical people. It's the perfect disguise!" Whatever. She wasted no time cutting off his long hair and brushing it into knots. He complained bitterly each time he yanked his hair. She tried to hide his blue skincolor, but he ended up a ridiculous looking purple instead. He thought she just wanted to dress him up like a fool for her own amusement. Really, he didn't know why he put up with her. Maybe it was because hers was the only laughter that rang throughout his gloomy existence. 

These two Caravan outfits at Fantasy Faire for girls and guys by Papermoon come a several color themes and accessories for mixing and matching. The guy velvet/leather ants come in blue, purple, green, and yellow. The tunic top comes in blue, pink, yellow, white. You can find the Papermoon store on the Fantasy Faire Blackwater Glenn. The necklace and scarf are donoations for Relay for Life. The purple skin by Niekra's Dreams and fun nail polish colors by De La Soul you can also find at Fantasy Faire. The hair is a combination of Tableau Vivant's dreadlock's Hull hair, and Wasabi Pill's Up in the Air hair. The eyeball hairbow we a past Femboy hunt prize from Atypical. Sadly, I was not able to find Atypical's inworld store.

In the background is part of the Kalopsia Gipsy Camp set. It comes with two beautifully textured color wagons, and seating for a guitar player or violin player.  Both pictures of Hades' adventures are taken at the Fantasy Faire sim Mourningvale Thicket. This dark mysterious gypsy theme sim is designed by Roawenwood. It's great fun to explore and I learned recently during the Place of Tears hunt the trees are red because they drink the blood of the unwary! It's the perfect secret portal to Hades' underworld.

Fantasy Faire: Hades' Due 1

STORYLINE: Hades, the God of the Underworld, was not amused. The souls of an entire city were suddenly wiped out. At first he was ecstatic since he wanted hear the newcomers' gory tales of their tragic demise. He waited anxiously. What caused so much death? He waited, and he waited. But not a single soul came. Engaged, he climbed up out the bowls of the earth to investigate this mystery. How dare they try to escape him! All souls eventually come to him, even the clueless! He would personally find each and everyone of them and drag their spirits back with him! ...However, there was a little problem with Hades' brash plan. You see, the God of Death was woefully unprepared for walking among the living.

WOW right now is a fantasy lover's paradise. The biggest fantasy event of the year has begun, the 6th Annual Fantasy Faire! Eleven gorgeous sims designed just for this event which only lasts 11 days. Run go now! Each sim is stuffed full of wonderful fantasy designers, and special event-only items you can purchase with proceeds donated directly to Relay for Life, the fundraising wing of the American Cancer Society. Each day there is a silent auction too. The Fantasy Faire Radio is rocking throughout the entire event with live DJs. There are even organized Role Plays going on! But if shopping, bidding, dancing, exploring, taking pictures, meeting people, and role playing isn't enough for you, I am especially delighted to tell you the Fantasy Faire HUNT is back! This year's hunt works similar's to last year's Key of Hope hunt. The hunt is released after the bidding reaches it's goal. Then part one will take you throughout all the sims hunting for clues. Little Red Riding Hood: Part 2

STORYLINE: Little Red Riding Hood thought her life was over. But then the most lucky thing happened! She was rescued from the jaws of that foul beast by a hunter in the woods. The way he snarled, "Snatching little girls in my territory?" before sinking his sword deep the creature's chest made her swoon. He was so brave, so handsome, and so strong! Surely Grandmother would love to meet her savor. As they walked, she wondered what they would name their children.

We <3 Role Play returns and it has a beautiful new home custom built by Alchemy. It's fun to just sit and relax, it's so cozy. Run over there and check it out. While you're there, don't miss this awesome new outfit for the guys by Pucca Firecaster. It comes with harness, belt, kilt, pants, boots, gloves, and the tattoo in two strength options. The outfit comes with two colors, red and black. For my post, I edited the outfit to intensify the reds. The foot is rigged and scaleable so you can adjust it to the length you like. My wolfie shadow is by Aii and available at Enchantment. He's mesh with a ghostly flexi trail. From the front he looks scary, (like a red-eyed Anubis God of Death thinking about eating your soul), but from the side he looks almost cuddly. He attaches to your avatar center, so no matter what your AO does, he just glides behind you in a very creepy way. Love it! The rest of my outfit is from the Fantasy Gacha. The crown I am wearing is from Remarkable Oblivion. The cape is rigged mesh by Stitched. The shield by MeshedUp is scripted for sheath and draw. The hair is an elf style by Emo-tions (and at 50L, it's must for the guy Role Players). This pose by Axix is impressive and comes with the prop swords seen above. Gothmas: Vampire Ballet

STORYLINE: Being creatures with a love for beauty, art, and a good show, the Vampire Ballet Company has been performing their own sinister version of the Nutcracker for almost as long as the original's debut.

No part of Christmas is immune from the dark touch of Gothmas. This image was inspired by the Dark Water Designs outfits for male and female at Gothmas by Gaslight. I'm wearing the Tokyo Dreams jacket above, it also comes with pants. The girl's Ballerina outfit comes with nice mesh point shoes that totally work on the guys too, just scale it up. But I couldn't leave it there, I had to go more extreme with ballet boot thigh highs by ROSAL. Yes, those are rigged for female, but you know what? I had no problem wearing them! Just wear XL and scale down the leg muscle a tad, then hide the heel, and you got yourself a prima ballerina vampire. lol The fur hat is from Milk Motion at the current round of Collabor88 which I edited to make taller. This gorgeous winged monocle by AIR currently on sale at RMK Frost Fair.  It comes in either gold or silver, and includes left and right versions. The hair is Beck by Tableau Vivant and it works perfect for my vampire dancer. The skin is also by  Tableau Vivant, the horror series for Lucis, and the price is not too bad either!

Christmas In The Caribbean

Last year I did a series on different Christmas traditions around the world to honor my friends. This year, I'm bringing it back! The first image is for my friend from Barbados. He says they make an excellent Black Rum Fruit Cake for Christmas and if you do it right, it will last a whole year! He sent me a link to the song, "Christmas In The Caribbean" by a local Barbados band. (Hey maybe Rihanna should cover this? -^ )

I'm from Florida. So shorts, palm trees, beaches and seagulls are much closer to my Christmas than parkas, Christmas trees, snow, and reindeer! lol. I took this picture at the awesome sims of Las Islas that recreate the feel of the Caribbean. I love it! It feels so much like home to me!

Above I am wearing the cool new dreads and cap by Tableau Vivant available at Collabor88. It comes with a color hud for changing dread and cap color. There is also a smooth textured version that comes in all the standard T.V. colors. The super cool makeup is by Lovely Disarrey from the Invitation Only Hunt. The leather jacket, Dean, comes from FateWear and it includes leather materials. The metal collar is by Rozoregalia. And lastly, for my impractical beachwear needs, the rare dalmatian fur coat from the Curio Obscura gacha. lol

One Hell of a Butler

There is something suspicious about that butler... I wonder what it is?

Ayashi released the new non-rigged mesh hair for men, Sebastian, I knew I had to try and see what I could come up with for a demon butler. The hair comes with X,Y, Z resize script for the perfect fit, and a color set hud. Ayashi has a new store at RMK Gothic! You can find it in the Dark Town section of the sim. Adding an elegant, yet studious, feel is the Angela Glasses by AIR.  You can touch it and change the frame color and the gem stones. The off the shoulder rigged coat is by DIRAM. An alpha hides your arms, and has two fake hands attached to the upper thigh. It comes with a color hud to change the skintone, but I went with a white glove look. The coat in many different colors, I choose a nice English tweed. The vest, shirt, collar and tie are included. The pocketwatch is mesh by House of Rain and has detail of tiny skulls and garnet. The pants are from the Smith suit set by Fatewear. The gloves in the close up are also by Fatewear and include materials that photographed here beautifully. Skin Noctis by Tableau Vivant you can find at the Boystown location. These awesome red eyes are by Aii. I swapped the shirt under the vest with SF Designs' because it had the tuxedo style I was looking for, and also, it's the best free tux in SL, imho. My favorite shiny shiny dress shoes are by PixelFashion. The candelabra I got the October Collabor88, but you can find it at the main store now. Touch the candle to change the color cream, teal, mead, black magic, royal, or brandy. Flames are particles. And my lastly, my current gothic abode is the Ivy Tower by Poetica.

The Seduction of Snow White, part 4

STORYLINE: The Prince was now armed with a method to hide to his tainted skin. At first he attacked people who were beautiful, but nothing happened. Then he remembered what the witch said, "You who possess no inner beauty, must now seek it from others." He fumed at that evil witch! It was much harder to find a victim, he had to actually talk to people to find out if they had "inner beauty." As he got closer to his true target, he was so desperate, he even sunk his fangs into a disgusting looking old lady, but this time worked! His beauty was restored. Now Snow White would be his!

Many goodies here from the current round of We <3 Role Play. I am wearing the first offering by Senzafine for men, and like all their clothing, it's richly textured. The Branch mask is by new comer to WLRP, Chimeric Fashions, and it fits on the face really nice. Gloves are by Ascent from the last round of Fantasy Gacha. The shoulder fluff is by Aii. The story behind it is the prince was pissed about being twice cursed he cut off one of the kitsune witch's tails and wears it as a trophy.
