Shadow of the Reaper, 3

STORYLINE: Dr Oliver Conray shuffled into the dreary bedroom provided by his Grim taskmaster. In disgust, he tossed his scythe against the bed and sunk onto its faded surface. Dust wafted up and danced in pale light before his strange blacked-out eyes. Standing in the light by the window was the ghostly form of a refined lady. Her delicate voice broke the tense silence, “What happened my love?” He sighed. He didn't want waste a single precious moment he had with his beloved over unpleasant matters. After all, he had paid a horrendous price for the privilege. But still, his heart ached for the life he left behind. "I killed my last living friend today."

For you goth boys, I have some fun things to share. First, I experimented with mixed mesh bodies once more. The upper body is The Mesh Project Male and wearing Gabriel Body Belt shirt. The lower is... *drumrolls* ...Maitreya. Why? For the simple reason that I was able to rock this badass outfit by Moon Elixir thanks to this little trick. Its on sale at the Fantasy Gach Carnival. Paired with the shirt, these two outfits actually worked together really well. My only complaint (besides heavy avatar render weight) is the foot size. Sadly the foot can not be scaled up.  The wonderful black oil tears are from this year's Halloween offering by Tableau Vivant. Its one of the Mort Vivant faces for new skin Marcus. To go with the oily tears, I used the Cubic Cherry Loss eye and tears and tinted it black.  For the hands, is the Cursed Hand applier by Lovely Dissarray. In the background is the fun Hunter Scythe by Swagga. Oh and, one more thing... Did I also mention the *must have* bed for any self-respecting vampire in Secondlife? The Death Row Vampire Gothic Bed set. Worth every single L.

A Strange Occurrence On the Galactic Frontier, 2

STORYLINE: The alarm had been triggered by an unknown alien artifact. Oucie suited up and went outside to investigate. To his surprise, he discovered the object was a lifepod and it was not empty either. Sleeping inside, with arms crossed over it's chest, was a majestic looking pale alien. A deep blue blush stung Oucie's cheeks. He had no doubt discovered a rare treasure. He immediately took it back to the moonbase. His pet jellyfish, Twinkles, flashed angry colors at him the second he brought the pod indoors. Oucie had never seen his pet so upset before. He shrugged it off as jealousy. Afterall, for three years, Twinkles had been the only friend he had. And in all those  years, nothing this exciting had happened before. He turned his attention once more to the sleeping alien. He had so many questions. There was something about it.... Then finally he couldn't stand anymore, he begin to touch the dials on the side of the pod. Twinkles circled around him frantically flashing red over and over again. He ignored Twinkles. There had to be someway to revive the alien.

Today I have more goodies from the Multiverse to show you. First, you guys will love these brilliant Mech Arms by Swagga. They are perfectly tailored for the TheMeshProject Male, and for the ladies there is a fit for the Maitreya mesh body. It has a flexible rubber at the elbow and wrist to give your avatar more natural movement. The Mech is mod so you can change the tint of the glowing parts. From BluPrints is the Status Pod from the Humanity's Arc gacha. It hovers over the ground, and has a pose for laying inside. (Also a handy Space Vampire coffin! lol) The Raygun Go Go Blaster is the Rare from Kitty's Claws. The Soul Emmanuel - Cypher skin I am wearing is packed with appliers for TMP, Omega, Catwa, and Adam. The skin texture comes with brows, no brows, face tattoo and no face tattoo. The tattoo can also be applied separately if you want to wear another skin. From The Nebulae is the Domain Belt. Its a non-rigged attachment you can adjust for a good fit. From We <3 Roleplay, is the Neck Belt by Gabriel. It comes with a fit for Default and TMP. Also at WLRP are new mesh fangs by Axix! They come with a hud to change the texture for things like human blood or unicorn blood. lol And even gap tooth, or normal. From The Men's Department is the new Backblown Hair by Tableau Vivant. This awesome tattoo is from the Fallen Gods Golem gacha, it includes appliers such as TMP and Omega. The face piercings you can find in 2nd store section of Haus of Darcy. The Yasum pants come with a hud to change textures. They are unisex with male and female fits, but you will need to edit your shape the best fit. The Vampire ears are by Trap. Brow applier by Clef de Peau, and Makeup by Aii. The brilliant Metatron wings and halo are by Nerox. Each part is animated and gives very cool effect for your cyber outfits. (see animation below)

STORYLINE: What happened next was a haze. Oucie lay helpless on the floor in a pool of his own blue toned blood. The creature had attacked him. It had strange powers. He understood now the alien was a Parasitic lifeform, and he just stupidly released it from its prison. As darkness threatened to overtake him once more, he whispered a prayer for forgiveness.  (For the next part of this continuing story from The Multiverse, head to Aarya's Dark Phantom blog.)

Revenge of the Red Leaf Tribe

STORYLINE: The last of the Red Leaf Tribe, the shy Devva Vauke, learned quickly what a cruel place the galaxy was. Now a castaway on his own homeworld, he could choose to give up and die with his people, or could he choose to fight and live on by any means necessary. Loneliness changes a man. Gone was the soft tender glow in his eyes. It was now replaced with the sharp focus of a predator looking for revenge. It was Vauke who had latent force ability, not anyone else from his tribe. The fear that drove Amemph to slaughter all the Red Leaf had instead triggered the very thing he feared most, the birth of a new force user.

Fallen Gods has a new cool body marking gacha at The Fantasy Gacha. It comes as a tattoo layer for the body with appliers and a system face. But for my character I wanted to use the TMP head, so I used the Pure Coal skin for the body with the Legacy tattoo on top, and for the face, I used the skin Legacy of Maul. It works pretty closely but there is a slight seam at the neck so I used the Yasum face mask rather than fuss with it.  The Armor is Not The Droid Parts by QweenB at the Fantasy Gacha. You can win several colors. The parts are not rigged, so it was easy to scale it up for male fit. The Cross Guard Saber is from the FGC gacha by Equinox. I love these sabers. (You can see it in action below.) In the background is luring the ominous Rebel Hunter driod by Sushi. Chewie's The Crossbow gun worn on the back is by MaySoul. Dark Side Pants by Aphotic, and belt by Muschilu. This lion mane of pink hair awesomeness is by Truth. Love the style. The cape is by FATEplay and comes with a hud to change the style for hood up or down, cape length, and how it draps over the shoulder. The claws for TMP are by CerberusXing. Horns by Death Row, and Cubic Cherry. Face jewelry by Barerose. Make up by Lovely Disarray. And thanks to Niiiigel for the Nicotine poses.

STORYLINE: Vauke's love for exploring the swamp of the Fire Snake is what saved his life. It wasn't such a bad place when using a Recon Wader with a Navbot. And if anything attacked, he always had his overprotective pet dragon he called Spitting Rage, or Spiddle for short.

Shown here are some more fun toys at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. The All Terrain Recon Transport is wearable and will animate when you walk. The adorable Dragon bot, D-R4CO, is by HEXtraordinary. His is an animated pet you can wear. Chasing behind, is the White Attacking Dragon by 22769. There are 3 colors and 3 different dragon poses you can win. He has a breathing chest animation, and is completely editable, so you can tint or scale them up or down as you need. very nice. These pictures were taken at the dark and moody Pandemonium sim.

STORYLINE: Amemph was a rogue Sith. His mission was clear; search the galaxy for force users and exterminate them. Light or dark didn't matter to him. The loyalty of a force user was as fickle as the wind. One moment full of grace, the next consumed in hate. He killed them all, and the wombs that birthed them. He was despised by both the Empire and Rebellion for his "righteous" cause, but no one hated Amemph more then he hated himself. By ridding the galaxy of threats like him, he hoped to somehow achieve redemption, albeit one covered in blood.

Star Wars..., I love it so much, and the Fantasy Gacha too. Well guess what? Going on right now are these two awesome things combined! Don't die too hard, grab your Ls and hit those machines for all the Star Wars goodies such as the rare Aphotic PC-420 droid shown above. It comes with a hud to change its color and marking. The little guy makes a lot of cute beeps, turns his head, and will roll next you when you walk.  The Equinox light sabers are so badass with cool sound effects, and works with combat meters. Shown above is the rare Dual Blade. (You can see a gif image of Akira and me fighting it out below. Head to her The Force this one has post for more information on her outfit.)   By Nerdology are the Droid Pals pets. The Star Knight outfit is by !gO!. And the Startrooper belt is by Mushilu.   Items not at FGC, are the goggles and pants by Yasum. The Capri pants fit under the gO! Star Knight tunic and vest and worked perfectly with the TMP body. By the way, going on right now is a massive sale for the Yasum's anniversary with everything is on sale for 50L!    From .Shi are the excellent Bob knot hair and Centurion sandals.

5 = Akaesha     6 = !gO!      7 = CIRCA     8 = Fair Play

I love advents! Many of my favorites have returned.  My list focuses on unisex, decor, and advents with things for guys. This year here are four new things to report:

One: Sway's is back this year and is using a hud. Look around the sim to find all the baubles to unlock each date on the calendar. Then come back each day to get that day's gift.

Two: The Christmas Advent-ure HUD! Head to Lantian/Flox or Timeless Textures to pick up the hud. Included are links to many of this year's Avents in notecard form and a handy hud that will teleport to each destination.

Three: Fair Play is a fantasy theme fund raiser for the American Cancer Society. Look for the advent numbers around the sim for the daily gift.
Four: !gO! Has original mesh gifts each day for men, joining the group is 50L. Meva has original mesh mesh gifts also, many of them unisex, it costs 100L to join.

Note: Advents for the 12 Days of Christmas will be added as soon as more information is available.

Lair of the Phantom

STORYLINE: He had been a promising music prodigy when tragedy struck. His mentor, the conductor of the Paris Opera, stole his composition, murdered him, and set their workroom on fire to hide his crimes. But the young Erik did not die. Flames covering his body, he dove for nearest body of water he could find, the sewers of Paris. His survival was a secret to the world above. His life, career, and face were stolen from him. Hearing his own music being performed by that traitor drove him mad. The thirst for revenge burned deeply in his soul. He bedeviled the production as often as he could. People began to believe the opera house was haunted. And then everything changed. The voice of an angel brought light to his gloom. Suddenly, his heart remembered its love for music. He lured her down to his domain. With his tutelage, she would bloom into the best soprano in the world. He would compose a masterpiece for her and to reclaim his name. His salvation was in grasp.

World Goth Fair: The 101st Flying Bats

STORYLINE: Thunder was reassigned from the Deathhead Scouts on the suspicion of helping the Rebellion. He was of course found innocent, but still was forbidden from ever leaving Cursed again. He made the best of his new command of Curse's Air Force, The Flying Bats. Patrolling the skies during the big World Goth Day event was the most excitement he's had in a year. He listened intensely as the 101st reported an attempted kidnapping of Elizabeth, the little sister of the Rebellion's Leader. Would the kidnapping be thwarted by the land troops, or would Cursed be proven to be unsafe for humans?

I have some awesome things to show you elegant vamps. Is this furniture great or what? The Gothic steampunk chair and ottoman are by Ravenghost and you can still scoop it up on sale until May 31 at We <3 Role Play. The gothic arch chair has multiple sits for guys and girls, will rez wine glasses, books, and cigars and automatically attach it to you! The pillows will also change textures. Love it!  The matching ottoman comes a pose for the guy and girls. Behind me is the badass Ravenghost floor Candelabra. You change touch it to change the metal colors. Next to it is the Graphic Chair with bat art by Bauwerk available at World Goth Fair. To the left of me is Bauwerk's Amber lamp. The lamp is mod so I switched the lamp's amber to a water alpha and added a glow. The skybox is once more the amazing cool The Chatham Loft by Trompe Loeil that I have living in since it was released. lol. I love how it has materials and projectors built right into it. Okay, you want to know a little more about what I am wearing? Well, I brought back my character the Deadhead Scout Thunder from last year's World Goth Fair. Some of the things I used are still available but not all. I put this outfit together while the Fantasy Faire was still running. I went to find the 62 Jacket this morning at BOOM's mainstore, but I didn't see it. I hope it will be added later. The jacket is great and comes with a hud to change the colors on buttons, tie pin, vest, collar, and shirt. My new vampire ears I also picked up at the Fantasy Faire, you find them at Trap mainstore now. The ears have a hud to scale the size, edit the main skincolor, highlight, shadow, and ear tip glow. The wings are from the Yasum Steamwing gacha at the Fantasy Gacha. I played it several times and won an Epic! One of the smaller batwings I turned into a lapel pin.

On Him, The Flying Bat Thunder:

World Goth Fair: The Vampire Squids

STORYLINE: The Elders were worried for the safety of the visiting humans during the celebration of World Goth Day. Patrolling the sea would be the Navy of Cursed, The Vampire Squids.

Time is running out to scoop up the awesomeness. Over at We <3 Role Play can you get this excellent Nick Belt Coat outfit from FATEplay for 25% off in white or midnight colors, and the Dueling Gloves. The gloves come with a color hud, and the ability to have hands open, closed, long cuff (like I used above), or short. The Vampire Squid is wearing an AMAZING skin by Pink Fuel that that fills all your Drow needs for both girls, femboys, and guys. It has tintable eyebrows and every applier you will ever need! (Slink hands/feet, Lola, Lush, Puffi, loud mouth, phat/cuteazz, ghetto booty. wowmeh, and perkies) Femboys might have already have tried and worn the Pink Fuels skins but those of you new to this let me explain how it works. You wear the normal girl skin, than choose either Boi or Athletic Boy tattoo later. This replaces the female breast and groin with a male version. What you end up with a lovely angelic male. This means the skin can be worn on either a male or female base avatar. If you want to give it a try, check out the demo! For the image above, I am wearing my normal male shape, but I have used the Boi version of Pink Fuels on male-on-female-base in the past.  This new Drow series is even better then the past Boi styles! Contraption has a cool helmet at We <3 RolePlay that's great for wearing while shoving coal in your steam submarine engine, or just decorating your unground lair and looking cool! On the wall is a Steam Furnace from Ravenghost. The detail and style of his work is wonderful. In the gacha area of WLRP, his Steampunk Luminaires has returned! I was so happy to see it was back and gave it another try. Good thing I did because I won the rare! Woot! From the Fantasy Gacha, is the mesh Victory boots for men by Yasum. Don't miss these! From World Goth Fair, I am wearing a cool light red to purple hair color from the Declan hair for men by Damselfly. While you are there, be sure to pick up the free Damselfly gift for men and women. The red-orange wingback chair comes from the WGF Salon Set by Nacht. It comes with matching couch, chair, and table and it's a 50% donation. To the left is the Graphic Chair Octopus by Bauwerk. It's editable mesh so I gave the chair a tint to match my color theme. I did something even more crazy with Bauwerk's nice Gothic Gazebo, I combined it with the Skybox by Trompe Loeil! Each section of the Gazebo is editable. It's really beautiful on its own but if you need to, you can also transform it like I did!

Did you know there is a Mens Only Gacha going on right now 'til Oct 20th?  It's fantastic! You can get this awesome liquid sweater by Flow, plains hat by JfL, and druidic scarf by Adjust, not to mention a series of badass poses from Apple Spice. I went crazy there. The steampunk eyepatch by Yasum is from the 3rd amazing gacha event going on right now, Fantasy Gacha. Guys, run go load up on all these great original mesh items at low low gacha prices. Ok... now the next showstopper in this outfit is the Outrider pants and boots by The Fallen currenly on sale for 25% off at We <3 Role Play. These pants and boots work great for many styles outside of medieval fantasy! The horns I am wearing are a new release from Death Row. The Madpea hunt's Dark Diminesions is also going on at Death Row Island. If you don't do the Madpea hunt, you always can try the Mini-Hunt at DRD.

Gentlemen, Start Your Engines.... While the girls have been shopping for Christmas all month, maybe even as far back as October, we true sportsmen know when Christmas shopping is SUPPOSED to happen, the night before!  It's more fun that way. Like a game. A race to snatch stuff before time's up. We dont really believe in over-thinking things, just go with a gut instinct, (and whatever is available). Here in SecondLife, we can practice our fine craft without getting stuck in traffic or chased down by perfume snippers in the malls. The goodies are free. We teleport, click, and BOOM! Done. Merry Christmas to all!
