Engine Room: The Alliance

STORYLINE: The defenders of the natural world gathered their forces. Stepping before the howling troops was General Pa-Hin, Chief and Shamen of the Sioux Nation. His name meant porcupine. "Today is a day that will go down into legend," he began slowly, his booming voice echoing in the warehouse full of heavily armed Lycans. The rowdy beasts calmed down and looked up at their leader, hypnotized by his every word. "It is an honor you accept me as one of your own, and allow me to lead you. Today is the last day of the life-sucking blight upon the Earth. Now is our time!" A young wolf began to howl, and his peers chastised him for loosing his cool. His ears drooped. The general smiled benevolently at the excitable pup, then continued, "While our arrogant enemy is preoccupied with the human's war and petty squabbles for power among themselves, they have forgotten to protect their most precious members." He dramatically pointed his cane towards the Castle of the Elders in the distance, "Kill them and all their blood sucking slaves join them in oblivion." Rolling hoots and howls erupted. The ground shook below their pounding paws. But with one small wave of Pa-Hin's hand, they silenced again. "This task will fall to the hands of our new dear ally, the esteemed Vampire Hunter's Association. Their representative, Mademoiselle Jacqueline, only asks that we get her elite squad of assassins inside. It is our job to SMASH their walls and break their defenses to safely deliver the hunters inside." He hands her a scroll,  "Thanks to this valuable map, her team knows exactly where the Fiends sleep."

This finale post was inspired by the dieselpunk offerings at the Engine Room and Indigenous Peoples Day. The porcupine jacket by Hotdog includes fits for men and women. The Butanik83 Life-support Boiler and matching gift Arm Pressirizer include a hud to change the textures. Seka eyepatch has a textures and matching Rusty nail septum is a gift I repurposed to be an earring. The crow headed walking cane is by The White Crow and includes a version that smackable weapon. Aenigma returns blasting the Post Apocalyptic sirens! ....or was that just today's news? lol This post is inspired in part by the Sahara Dust Storm invasion on my 2020 Apocalyptic Bingo card, and the fun Space KeBab space capsule by Oshrio and Normandy Buzzsaw, which is sharp enough to cut even the toughest of meats.

WINTERS HALLOW: Fear is for the winter

“Oh, my sweet summer child, what do you know of fear? Fear is for the winter, ...when the snows fall a hundred feet deep. Fear is for the long night, when the sun hides its face for years at a time, and little children are born and live and die all in darkness. ... Thousands of years ago, there came a night that lasted a generation. Kings froze to death in their castles, same as the shepherds in their huts. And women smothered their babies rather than see them starve, and wept, and felt the tears freeze on their cheeks. ...In that darkness the White Walkers came for the first time. They swept through cities and kingdoms riding their dead horses, hunting with their packs of pale spiders, big as hounds.” - Old Nan, Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin

Who here is hyped for the final season of Game of Thrones? Me me me me!  I was inspired make a Whitewalker for this post by the awesome Deadly Nightshare Nityr's Staff on sale at the appropriately dark Winter's Hallow. It throws out some badass effects in mesh and particles, and you can send your friends flying off the sim with a good blast. hahaha Good times. Winter's Hallow is packed with dark and pagen winter items, and there are gifts under the tree, and hunt prizes too! You can see all the hunt prizes here:

Also shown above are a new Talon claws by Contraption at equal10. They were updated for Belleza Jake 2 too. They come with a hud to change the textures. Also shown by Contraption is the Ice Beast mesk and horns. To see just how cool it looks with its icey materials, turn on advanced lighting and have at least one local light. For some more ice, I used Izzie's body glitter tattoo over the beautiful Fallen Gods' Winter Nymph texture for men. I love the color of it! The rest of my Whitewalker outfit items are the PFC Iron Arms, and imho the best kilt for men on the grid, Cult's Male kilt with boots. it comes with a texture hud for the kilt and boots, black, denim and grey. The setting is a brand new hallway prop by CerberusXing on sale at another great dark themed event, Eclipse. .. Stay warm, Sweet Summer Children. Winter is coming....

Last of the Red Leaf Tribe

STORYLINE: Many moons ago, the prodigal son of Red Leaf carried out unspeakable crimes in far away place beyond the sky. They said his heart had been twisted by evil. Many fearful foreigners with terrifying weapons came to hunt down the Red Leaf. It didn't matter they were innocents. If one dark seed came from the Red Leaf surely there could be another. But the hunters missed one, the shy Devva Vauke who lived alone in the forest of the fire snake. He was now the last of his tribe.

I wrestled with this character all month and finally I got a look I loved. He's like an alien Last of the Mohicans. You can pick the Legacy of Maul skin at WLRP on sale today, and then after that head to the Fallen Gods mainstore. Maul includes appliers for slink nails, lotus, Uniear, TMP, and L'Uomo. ... A new event for role players is The Conquest. The druid tree body jewels is by Swagga. It's fitted mesh and works great with the TMP body. I tinted the light tree bark for a darker color. ... The one year anniversary round of Creation.Jp has begun! There are lots of excellent goodies and gifts too. Above is the Eastern Promises hair by Tableau Vivant. It comes in rigged, unrigged, whole, and two separate parts and a complete hair color selection. It also has excellent new hair bases for the TMP head. .. And if you haven't stopped by Tengoku no Rakuen, today is the last day to scoop up the deals like the Haus of Darcy Kyo piercings. ... I went crazy with horns, combining 4 different ones. The horns at the side of the face are by Death Row, the horns running along the hairline are by Souzou Eien. The forehead horns are by Cubic Cherry. And the funky eyebrow horns are from a gacha by Death Row. ... The amazing eyemakeup and forehead symbol are by Lovely Disarray. The makeup can worn by either male or female TMP heads. ... The cool nose guard is by BareRose, and the claws are by CerberusXing. ... One of the best undies in SL for men is Jungle Men by Pucca Firecaster. I had no problem adjusting it to TMP body and it fits wonderfully on the default avi too. It includes a hud to change the various textures and you can tint it too.

Little Red Riding Hood: part 3

STORYLINE: Grandmother picked up her special glasses to look at the Hunter, the ones that show a person's "true face." Little Red didn't understand why her Grandmother said, "Oh my, What big eyes you have." "The better to see you with," he replied. "And that big teeth you have!" Grandmother shoved her out the door and locked it. "Run!" she yelled, but Little Red didn't. There was sounds of struggle, breaking furniture, followed by an eerie silence with the smell of baking cookies. Little Red eventually found a way to sneak back inside, and what she saw was amazing. The Hunter was sitting sleepy at the dining table, moaning, and patting his swollen belly. "Oh Grandmother your cookies are the best. I ate so much I feel like there are rocks in my stomach." Her Grandmother winked, and showed her a little bottle of wolfbane spice she must have added to the cookies. Little Red was sad she would never see her Hunter friend again. He said not to worry, he made a deal with Grandma. When Little Red returned home, she was grounded for the rest of the Summer for disobeying her mother's orders.
