STORYLINE: A young woman heavy with child took a hesitant step off the Junk boat that brought her to the strange lands in the West. The dragon, who's name means Mirror, floated around her nudged her gently, "Just a few more steps, my Queen, and I promise your child will be born safely here." She looked down at the dark waters lapping softly at the boat. The ruin of her face looked back at her. Everyone else saw a beauty with skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony, but all she saw was the nightmare of a woman burned alive. Her pain was unbearable. Every slight movement was an explosion of pain. She knew her death was near. Only the determination to bring her child safely into the world kept her alive. She would not let the Shogun, who had murdered her for refusing his advances, take the life of her child too! Her husband was murdered before her, and as clumps of burned flesh fell from her body, she wailed, "Kagami, Kagami. Please save my baby."

I'm back from vacation with one more post in the Snow White series for Enchantment. Fender Fangs: Diesel and Silk

STORYLINE: Lazy smoke trails lingered in the air as if unable to decide which way to turn. The mechanic of the Nightrix gang sighed, and considered the fate of his rival. It's true, he did hate Darren Darkfire, the young upstart from the Fender Fangs who just made lifetime of his work obsolete but at the same time there was a tightly coiled thrill deep inside him. Who else but another mechanic guru could share the same kind of passion he did for tinkering with things that go Vroom. Would the pipsqueak reveal his secrets if showered with praise, or would things get much more, ...interesting?

Here's some great goodies for the guys from the August ROMP. The idea for this series was inspired by the House of Ruby clothing applier, Mechanic. It comes with options for reveal and works on Slink and Omega. The punk necklace by Gabriel comes in black and silver, for guys or girls. The pants by Mirage come with a hud for closed or open zipper. Fender Fangs: Gang War

STORYLINE: The sun was rising as Darren Darkfire kicked his beloved motorcycle, Infection, into its highest gear thanks to a few drops of his blood. As he raced down the highway sounding like an angry swarm of bees shot straight out of hell, he didn't notice the vampires hiding the shadows watching him. Darren was the youngest member ever admitted into the Fender Fang gang thanks to his experimental bio-mechanical motorcycle. Many believed his invention would give the Fender Fangs an edge in the next Immortal 500 race.  But we may never know.... Just as the sun's rays peeked above the horizon, he was ambushed by rival gang Nightrik, and taken prisoner.

ROMP returns to spice up the last fleeting days of summer.  Shown above from ROMP is the jock by Thirst fitted to Niramyth, Signature, and Bellazza male mesh bodies, and the hand pose triggering Gajug Kalla collar by AsteroidBox. From a past ROMP is the Mars Harness by Salt & Pepper. These items gave me the idea to try biker theme, and bring back the Fender Fang storyline. Adding to the theme is the Slasher leather jacket by Lapointe & Bastchild. It comes with several fits for mesh bodies, and a hud to change its textures and turn the t-shirt on or off. The Infection motorcycle is the rare from past TMD gacha by Sau. Besides looking icky, it even says super creepy things in local chat like "....help me..."  The gloves are an applier for Niramyth by 4Skin, and include several color options, and the claws Niramyth Bento hands are by Gorgeous Dolls. They work like charm and have lots of options for textures and individual nail colors. Darren is wearing the stunning rare gacha Bento male head from Genesis Labs. The head comes with a crazy amount of options like: eye makeups, tattoos, camouflage, bruises, scratches, blood, braces, tongue piercing, fangs, expression poses and animations. Skin textures are gachas separate from the head.

STORYLINE: The tide was rising rapidly in the Crescent City. A long black limousine slowly came to a stop in front of a quaint white shotgun cottage. Despite its caution, the car's wake splashed into the house. An angry outburst roared from inside, cursing the many Voodoo gods. La Croix smiled secretly to himself as he picked his way carefully through the floating debris. He knocked politely at the front door of the savior of the city, Maman Brigette. She was dressed for battle in black leather and armor and she shot him a hell of a dirty look that would surely have killed him if he wasn't already dead. Then she pretended he wasn't there as she frantically tried to recreate her Veve ceremony on the waterlogged floorboards. "No ritual gonna save us dis time, Maman. We gots to go." So many people were counting on her to save them, but there was no fixing a sinking city and a rising ocean. They really were going to loose everything this time. There was no spell strong enough to divert all this water. She covered her face with her hands, and began to sob. "Nah nah, cheri." He sat down in the water beside her and hugged her shoulders. She was such a powerful woman, it broke his heart to see her cry. "I gots news," he handed her a parchment scroll with a wax seal. She frowned, confused by such an odd thing at a time like this. He pointed to the ankh symbol in the wax seal. "The Ancient One has summoned us. He offers us a place of honor in his new nation." She snatched the letter, read it quickly, then read it again just to be certain. She looked up at the Baron and blinked. "What does the king of the vampires want from us?"

The Beast was talented in Voudou, ... a little too talented. Now the two of them are locked in an everlasting war that burned just as hot in love as hate. One moment their yelling would make the walls shake, the next those same walls were taking a pounding.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! If you are still looking for a gift for your sweetheart, be sure to not miss Objets D'Amour.  This series had 2 inspirations. The first was the Emprean Forge gacha, the Dollmaker's Fetish at Objects D'Amour. The necklace, bracelet, and ring are all beautifully made and I love being able to pick up some EQ on my limited budget.  The second is from Pucca Firecaster over at Fantasy Gacha is the fun PFC bones accessories, great for Voodoo girls or guys.  Over at Madpeas is a wonderfully witty Voodoo Valentine gacha. Seriously, I was shooting this picture when I got a notice about this gacha. Perfect timing! Each unfortunate Voodoo Doll in love meets his demise when you touch him. STORYLINE: The rockstar removed his sunglasses and tapped on the keys of a small organ tucked in the corner dungeon cell. "Have you heard this song before, Monsieur Gustave?" The sound echoed in the stone chamber producing deep resonating tones. The old man shook his head. "My great great grandmother, Nanette was a pianist. She played at the local theater. One day The Lion kissed her fingers and said, 'Teach me to play as beautifully and I shall love you forever.'" The old man took his flashlight away from the rockstar for a moment. Sweat dripped down his face as he noticed his patron's eyes glowed red in the dark. He wiped his forehead, and continued. "All members of the Marquis' family died, including The Lion, who had sought his fortune in Paris as an actor. The only clue as to what happened to him was a letter to Nanette expressing his worry he was being stalked by some unearthly creature. The Marquis willed his castle to Nanette. Not long after, her body was found outside in the snow." The old man suddenly slammed shut the heavy cell door. The rockstar seemed neither concerned nor surprised. He looked up at the trembling old man, his eyes blazing like flames, "Did you like it, the song? It's not everyday one hears a long lost sonata written by their great great grand-mère."

*sings* War! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing! Say it again.... Oh yes, I couldn't let the month slip by without serving up this saucy angel of the Apocalypse. She's one of the many brilliant characters in the comedic novel, Good Omens by the Neil Gaiman, and the late Terry Pratchett. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it. It comes with the mesh head, hud for eyebrow color change, eyes, ears, teeth, applier for slink hands and feet (but not the slink body), Maitreya body, shape, and default skin. The makeup can also be won on the gacha. The bullet garter is actually a repurposed Gunslinger Armband by Sax Shephard Designs. The FATEplay Willow's bullet belt is on two places, across the hips and chest. To get the bullet sash, I rezzed it as a prop. A year ago, Schism Industries closed it's store and offered all it's anime-inspired prim based weapons for free. As far as I know, it's no longer available inworld. The Raven Motorcycle one of the excellent creations by Sau motorcycles. It has all the features of the Sau motorcycles, an original mesh design, and the frame and body can texture change.

STORYLINE: Fennimore was tired of being picked on. He knew how to defend against the Dark Arts, he just wasn't fast enough to deflect. His girlfriend from Hufflepuff suggested he try out for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. "It will do you good, Fenni. Help improve your reflexes." Grudgingly "Frail" Fenni accepted the Quidditch team's challenge: Deliver a scroll before the sun sets. Of course it's never that easy, the members of the team would do everything possible to distract, throw him, lead him astray, or trap him, whatever it took to stop his Sunset Run. "On our mark..." Fennimore put on his goggles. "...Set"  He tightened his grip on the broom. "... GO!"

The delightful Wizarding Faire has returned to the Mischief Managed RP sim and it's bigger then ever. There are products and gachas to tickle your magical whimsies. Shown above is the new FATEplay Quidditch team outfit for Ravenclaw. You can even get it in blue and silver, or by-the-book blue and yellow. The outfit includes cape, pants, shinpads, sweater, and a flyable broom. It comes in male, female, and child sizes. BUT that's not all! For the first time I have seen in SL is animating clothing! The cape will begin to flap when you fly. (Check out the gif animation of it below.) To the outfit I added the FATEplay dueling gloves.
