The Wicked Wizard of the West

STORYLINE: Wesley was a drifter. He ran away from the orphanage when he was 17, and decided one day, "Hey, I want to go to college, yeah." It didn't matter he was not enrolled, he just sat down behind the prettiest girl in class and no one bothered to tell him to leave. Except Dorothy, of course. He poked her shoulder, pulled her hair, even shot spitballs at her but she always ignored him. When he found out her birthday was the next day, he got the idea to bring her flowers. Hey, girls love flowers, right? Well after picking a handful poppies, he fell asleep in the poppyfield and had the strangest dream. A tornado spoke to him. It called him The Great Antagonist of The Usurper. It offered him all its power, kingdom, and servants. "Sounds great, what's the catch?" he giggled in a poppy colored haze. "Water must never touch you." He laughed and accepted. The next morning he woke up strangely dressed with a powerful headache and a flying monkey asking, "Master. What is your heart's desire?" He couldn't help it. The very first thought that popped into his head was the birthday girl. Suddenly, he heard a scream above him. He looked up. It was Dorothy! She was falling from the sky! He dove and caught her just in time. Then Toto jumped out of her basket and bit him. "Hey! I saved you, stupid Mutt!" He glared at Toto and suddenly a muzzle materialized on little terrier. Both Wesley and Dorothy looked at each other and blinked.

My idea for this post was actually inspired a game and the witch theme items at the current round of the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. I had an idea to gender flip the Wicked Witch of the West, and then a few days later discovered Enchantment was doing the Wizard of Oz! So naturally I took it as a sign to go for it! So here is Wesley, the new mischief maker of Oz.

Fantasy Faire: Fishhook the Brave

STORYLINE: A great gathering of all Merkind was called. The Unweaver's villainy must not be allowed to continue! The Unweaver was vulnerable to water, but how could he be lured to their domain? Many ideas were offered, but no workable plan was found until the eccentric Fishook raised his hand. He was a Mer with a love for human fishing inventions. Some thought he was twisted. (Why would he love a thing that struck terror in hearts of most Merkind?) But his hobby lead Fishook to perfect the art of leaping out of the water. He loved crashing on boats to steal the lures of stunned fishermen. He was fearless. So naturally, his plan was accepted. The Sirens sung a beautiful song no mortal could resist. Slowly a mist crept into Odyssey. Fishhook knew it had to be the Unweaver! At just the right moment, he gathered all his strength and leapt high above the water. He caught the Unweaver by surprise, snared him, and they crashed below the waves. The Elders quickly sealed the Unweaver in a magical pearl where he could no longer make mischief. The Fairelands were saved thanks to Fishhook the Brave!

Today is the last day of the Fantasy Faire! Don't miss the opportunity to get some wonderful event-only Mermen skins and Atlantean temples from Fallen Gods! The male skins come with appliers for Slink hands and feet, Lotus, Soul ears, and the MeshProject head and body. You can also pick up the beautiful Pearl Temples and Pearl Lights by Fallen Gods. ...The Eclectica gargoyle ears are awesome! They come in several styles. Touch the ears to change the metal, skin, and gemstone textures. ...The staff by Bite and Claw is one of the excellent prizes from the Fantasy Faire Lost Lands hunt. ...I love this new Hozuki makeup by Lovely Disarray. It's a unisex applier for the Mesh Project head on sale at Dark Style Fair.

Year of the Horse: 2014

STORYLINE: Proudly, she stepped forward. Her arm reached out to lead the mystic creature. His year had come. It was time to lead him down the great hall so he could spread his wings and fly. Was he an angel of joy and opportunity, or was he the harbinger of misery and stagnation? The Horse's true nature shall be revealed.

Happy Year of the Horse! This is a special post for Fulli, who loves horses and her sign is also the Horse. I'm very happy she's back on the blog after she had a serious injury a month ago. She is not completely recovered but wants to do her best. She is modeling the cool complete gothic avatar Lilith from Bite & Claw that includes skin, eyes, fangs, dress, and boots. It's available now at the Fantasy Collective. She is wearing a fantastic hunt creation by LaNoir Soleil Design for the Lady Dark Hunt. Her beautiful elegant collar is from the Frost Fair gacha by Theater Chain, and still available to play! If you are lucky you can win an adorable Baby Christmas dress and half bonnet in baby blue.

I am wearing the quarter horse avi and mod kit by Breeder's Choice. My horns are by Belial Japan Development. The rest of the look is by Abaddon Arts: demon wings, piercings, mane and tail, and custom skin and eyes. Mr Abaddon Axelrad of Abaddon Arts answered my questions, helped me solve a problem with my avi (I needed the update! oops), and even let me buy one of his custom skins not currently out for sale. Thanks!

Fulli wishes you all a "Happy Year of the Horse \o/," and "don't gallop in the wrong way :P <3" lol
